Adora Hotel at Belek, Turkey from Bob_Essex_England
I reinforce a previous report of the Adora Golf Resort Hotel as 5*, not only the hotel, facilities but the service from ever attentive, helpful, pleasant staff. Visiting in the first half of November I was expecting some worsening in the weather & indeed it came in the form of rain for two days. This prompted the hotel to move from summer to winter operation and to slip seamlessly from indoor to outdoor mode. When the sun came back the pool, beach beds & bar, the bbq lunch on the terrace -- everything was there waiting! During the poorer weather, indoor rooms, bars, restaurants and facilities were a match to the increased use. Also the size of the fitness room & especially the indoor pool were more than adequate. There were a significant number of English, Dutch, Belgian guests, although the majority were from Germany: My poor foreign language capability was not a problem: The staff understood me, and many European guests would demonstrate their prowess in my language. I was happy with the all inclusive offerings of drinks (Local products) and food. I am not a golf player, but this is not an issue: The hotel is a fine complex in itself, suitable for the any person. (Also you could as easily call it a Tennis hotel -- these excellent facilities are more in evidence local to the hotel). If there is any issue is that it is a remote location & you could soon forget you are in Turkey: You need to join an organised trip to see the country. The only local village, a bus ride away, is just commercial -- jewellry and dubious branded items. Walk along the beach for 1/2 hour & you see hotels!, but this only indicates how much beach there is just next to the hotel!.

The hotel facilities really were 5*. The food was fantastic and drinks were available all day on the all-inclusive system. The hotel pools were kept spotless and were big enough that you had plenty of room to swim, even in the middle of summer. (and the water slide kept our son happy for the whole 2 weeks !). The entertainment was better than your average "turkish animation" with the animators really trying their best to entertain the guests (especially the children). Only down side is that (in common with most of Turkey) many guests are Russian ....... and they all smoke cheap russian cigarettes ..... all the time. Non-smoking areas are few and far between ..... so get into dinner early. Overall ..... the best 5* all inclusive in turkey I've been to so far !
