" We have been to Chalet Blanche twice... "

We have been to Chalet Blanche twice now as it’s so good! It was featured on Channel 4’s “No Going Back” series. The accommodation is great, comfortable rooms - a comfortable lounge area with Sky TV and full use of kitchen facilities. Breakfast is excellent - cereal, boiled eggs, bread, yoghurt croissant, fruit - everything really! Alistair and Debbie are great hosts too.

Chamonix is beautiful in the summer too and if you’re into walking you couldn’t find a finer place with breathtaking views everywhere you look. There is the magnificent Aguille Du Midi cable car (2nd highest in Europe), which is a must (weather permitting!!!) The town itself is lovely with everything you need and plenty of good restaurants and bars.

Chalet Blanche cost two of us £350 for a week B & B (not bad!) you can get cheap flights to Geneva and would recommend car hire as there’s plenty to see in the surrounding area - take a trip into Italy through the Mont Blanc tunnel.
