this holiday was ok but watch out for the bar boys who dont let you pay up front you may end up paying for more than you had. Thomas Cook rep was ok but not on the ball when it came to excursions leading us up the garden path with several trips including the one to KOS we recommend if you are staying at cherry book it yourselves. The misinformation from Thomas Cook rep cost us money and we wouldnt holiday with them again prob not their fault entirely just had a bad experience with them,we know a way to get out of the apts if you get fed up of being harassed by the massage man as there seems to be only one way out.. otherwise enjoy oh yeh ya may need ear plugs cos after being asked how you are by Abi and the crew every 5 minutes it gets a bit tedious round the pool.

Never having been to Turkey I wasn't sure what to expect. We were unfortunate in so much as we were one of the families who had been double booked that week, on the up side we had booked two apartments and got one, whereas others had to be temporarily re-allocated to alternative accommodation. The rooms were clean, and as expected basic, but reasonably comfortable and we had fresh towels and linen every day. They had however been decorated since the brochure photos were taken and were no longer a neutral white, but two slapped on shades of bright pink. We were able to eat out for all of our meals as there is a profusion of cafes, bars and restaurants all serving good quality food, which I was grateful for as the two plate cooker was rusty and looked unsafe (I never tried it to find out). The facilities at Club Cherry are very good, with a beautiful swimming pool which is kept spotlessly clean, a bar/restaurant and games area. The staff are excellent and very warm and helpful, and the on site massage/treatments are certainly worth trying. We only spent one day by the pool as we found so much to see and do in and around the town. There are so many wonderful places to eat, and at very reasonable prices from 'Can restaurant' in the centre of town (who don't hassle you for business), to 'La Pikak'right on the sea front where we dined on the beach at sunset - absolutely stunning. The people are very friendly, at times overpoweringly so, especially the men, who are rather 'touchy feely'. My fifteen year old daughter found it rather upsetting at times as she was oggled at everywhere we went! The boat trips are value for money, and the Agean sea is so clear and blue. We also went on a trip through our tour operator to Dalyan. We went to the mud baths, down the Dalyan river past the extraordinary man made Caunos tombs and saw a giant loggerhead turtle in the river.
Club Cherry is within easy walking distance of the harbour, town centre and the beach.

I booked a last minute holiday here mid-September with my girlfriend, we arrived in the middle of the night as you do with so many flights to Turkey and was very impressed with the reception, who were very quick and spoke perfect English and got us to our room without delay, and even gave us a free bottle of water to survive on until morning!
The room was very basic as you would expect from a 2* hotel, but unless you’re going to spend most your holiday inside this doesn’t really matter. The Apartment was cleaned daily although not very thoroughly and there was dust and under cupboards and around fridge in the kitchen was not wonderfully clean.
Although we were on a self-catering basis, we did eat out every night, and the hotels own restaurant was wonderful, not very expensive and delicious food, would highly recommend the hotels Turkish night, where there is a vast array of mezes and a barbecue, and there is a variety of entertainment, all for 25 lira or £10, although be prepared to tip each of the acts as they pass round.
The location is ideal for the beach and bustling town centre with many shops and bazaars, and of course the big market on Saturday, the biggest in the area, these are all within a ten minute walk, but not in the centre itself so is relatively quiet.
This hotel in September is, like the rest of the town, quite quiet with mainly older couples, although in summer it’s much more family orientated.
The pool is great although the same depth throughout at 1.7m so not recommended for those who can’t swim, unless your tall obviously! There is a small children’s pool also.
The staff are all friendly and enjoy a laugh, especially when it comes to pushing guests in the pool!
Would recommend this hotel, particularly around September when there are fewer children for a quieter time.

Very good value for money. The holiday only cost £300 quid including insurance. The resort is small/medium size and there is more than enough going on to keep you amused for 2 weeks.
I went with my girlfriend & we tried scuba diving, horse riding & boat trips each time we used a local tour guide & the service was excellent & half the price of Thompson. The locals are very friendly and in the main square there is about 20 restaurants all offering excellent value for money. The beach is small but very clean with free deck chairs/sunbeds.
It’s more a couples place. I wouldn’t recommend it for a group of lads/lasses on the pull, they would be better off in Bodrum.
