Well what can I say. FANTASTIC!!!
Our accommodation was the best we have ever stayed in. It was only built last year and was immaculate, very clean and was run by a really nice guy.
The resort was ideal for couples and families and had some excellent bars and restaurants. Our favourites were:- Milos on the beach front, The Galera, Flamingos and the Kebab shop near the main road out of Skala.
If you hire a car go to The Lighthouse in Katelios (the town B4 Skala) and sample some fresh fish, it was really nice and very reasonably priced.
Its worth going to see the underground caves and lake but is much cheaper to hire a car than to go on the organised tours but be warned - the roads run through the mountains and are quite steep.
The only little snag was the fact that the beach is shingle and the sea descends quite steeply so make sure you take some strap on rubber shoes.
Overall it was lovely and we will definitely be going back.
