We did a lot of research into The Kanali apartments before we went and we were not disappointed!
This place is just fab. The rooms are immaculate and cleaned every day. The views are stunning. The Aquarius bar on site is just wonderful!The food is delicious, the cocktails are to die for ( and you might feel like it after several!). The staff in the bar are polite and they love it if you answer them in Greek so it is worth learning a few words !Spiros is the owner and a nicer man you could not meet! The waiters Geroge and Costos are a couple of real nice guys. Do not miss their Greek night ! It is brilliant!
The views from the pool area are just stunning. You look onto the Canal D'Amour ,well worth a swim out to the two large rock formations in the middle, but get some scuba shoes - about 5 euros - as it is very slippery. The views over to Albania are great too on a clear day.
Jeni the manageress is just a star ! She meets you at the end of the lane to pick your suit cases up. Nothing is too much trouble and it's nice to be able to ask her things about Corfu and the resort.
The rep James is brilliant ! Very chatty and informative and saw a lot of him. His quizes are great too !
The transfer from the airport to the resort was about an hour and half, but sit back, relax and enjoy the views of the mountains!
The supermarket at the end of the road is good, has everything you need. But eating out is so cheap, don't buy too much!
Try ' The Village ' just down from the supermarket, real Greek food with a great atmosphere. The Three Little Pigs does a brill Greek Evening (every evening I think!), again, great food with entertainment! Cactus Jacks is good for food, generous portions and nice atmosphere
The area around Kanali is lovely, quite quiet and relaxing. Once you go into Sadari itself it is a little different!
It is full of bars offering big screen footy and cheap cocktails, fine if that is what you are after. Watch out for the guys standing outside the bars and cafes trying to entice you in, just tell them you have eaten already!
The gypsies are all around , just tell them firmly No Thanks !
We are going back next year for 2 weeks, can't wait

When I arrived to Sidari the staff made me feel really welcome. The bar/restaurant Aquarius served lovely meals and desserts especially the chocolate mousse and ice-creams. In the mornings I really enjoyed going to Jeni's for breakfast as it was only down the road on the way into Sidari from the Kanali, all the food and drinks I had there was lovely.
The Kanali Apartments was very clean and the cleaners came in everyday to clean them. The cleaners were always cheerful and friendly. I'll go back next year for my 4 or 5th time staying there because I love it there and the people are great and very friendly, the foods great and the apartments are fantastic I cant wait to go back to Sidari.

I loved the villa myself! It was big, spacious, quite modern, and light. The facilities are great, and the rooms are really nice! The only thing I didn’t like was the fact that there were wasps near the pool right throughout the day and that became a problem and could become a bigger problem if you have young children!
It is in quite close proximity to Kassiopi house which is ok. Another thing is, it’s next to an olive thing, and there are snakes in the grass. But apart from that and the long walk to the tavernas, its great!

This is our 2nd visit this year, we have been going to the Kanali for the last 7 years and it gets better every year if that’s possible.
Jeni and all the staff are so friendly and they can never do enough for you.
The views from the Kanali is breathtaking.
The food at the Aquarius restaurant is excellent, have never had a bad meal there, Spiros and the waiters are brilliant.
Also there are a few other restaurants which serve some lovely food. If you take a walk into Sidari town, half way there is a little coffee shop called Jeni's and they serve the most gorgeous cheese cake, no wonder I put wait on I had a piece of it every day, you can then walk into town and walk it off, the only problem on your way back you can stop off and have a rest and get some more!!
We are going back again next year, which is already booked.

Have recently returned from our two week holiday and wow! We were amazed. This was our first 'package' type holiday for quite a few years and we definitely picked the right place to stay.
The Kanali is in a spectacular position with lovely views from the rooms over the Canal D'Amour. The Kanali is in a great spot. At the bottom of the lane there is a selection of tavernas to choose from or if you fancy a little longer stroll into the main 'strip' this is where you will find more bars and restaurants. Mainly families in resort no yobbos!!
You are able to sleep peacefully in your beds as there is no noise up where the Kanali is late into the night. However if you want to stay up until 3am or 4am drinking in the Aquarius Bar then Spiros and his team will party on with you!! Supermarket located at bottom of the lane so not too far to go for those essentials.
The pool is cleaned every morning and is simply the best pool we have come across. The food at the Aquarius is super; Spiros' mum does all the cooking and the moussaka is yummy!! The Greek night on a Thursday is great and if you are lucky Spiros, Costa and Dimitris's dad will give you an encore!!
All in all we cannot fault this place and are definitely going back. The rooms are kept clean by the brilliant maids. Jeni, the English hotel manageress, however, is the overall star for us. Nothing is too much trouble for her and as she speaks fluent Greek is a godsend! Our daughter had a serious ear infection and Jeni was fabulous, she rang the Dr and got him to come to the apartments to save us the walk into town. She has even rung us back in England to see how our daughter is getting on!
We booked some trips with an agent in town, much cheaper than with first choice. Went to Aqualand, brilliant; did the beach BBQ glass bottom boat to paradise beach which was a lovely day with beautiful crystal clear water. Lots of nice places to eat; our favourites were Aquarius (of course!) The Village, Nicholas and Sea Breeze to mention a few.
Enjoy yourselves if you go here you will not be disappointed. Saving up now for our next trip.

Best place we have ever been for friendliness, superb apartments and fantastic views.
The pool was non swimmer friendly. Jenni was so helpful nothing was too much trouble.
The food in the Aquarius was fantastic. We have booked again for September 2007 the cleaners were very nice people.
There is plenty of tavernas nearby. It is one place I have been where the staff smile all the time.
The pool area was spotless and the water pristine.
I would recommend the Kanali to all.

We have just come back from spending a week at Kanali Apartments and I was very upset to leave! It was an amazing holiday. We had fantastic views from our balcony right over the beautiful coastline. It is a stunning location, but it was the friendly staff that really made the holiday for us.
Jenny, the manager, and all the friendly wait staff would literally do anything for you and they make you feel so special and well looked after!
The restaurant on site offers an amazing selection of well priced and delicious food, and we didn’t find anywhere better to eat in the resort!
Recommend taking a glass bottom boat trip to the other side of the island as I have never seen water so crystal clear and beautiful. You get a boat trip and a bbq on "paradise beach" and was an amazing day out!
Only thing we were slightly disappointed with was our first choice tour rep! We didn’t really need her until we wanted to find out info about return transfers, but literally didn’t see her once in the whole week we were there. This is no reflection on the resort, just on First Choice!
If you are looking for a peaceful, beautiful, friendly resort, then look no further! I am hoping to go back next year and would recommend to all my friends and family!

Well what can I say, if you have been there it speaks for itself, and if you haven't then I would definitely recommend it.
This was my 3rd time at the Kanali and each time has just been absolutely brilliant that I have even booked up again for next year already.
I have to say without Jenni, Spiros, and all the staff there it would not be what it is today. They generally have time for you and always make a huge effort to make you feel welcome.
It is a beautiful location and not far from bars, restaurants or shops. The beach it about a 5 minute walk.
Overall you could not knock the place one little bit and I’m just looking forward to next year. Look out Spiros and Jenni here we come!!

Just got back from Corfu. It was my 4th visit to Corfu, 1st here. Simply one of the best places I have stayed at outside of the USA.
The Manager Jeni is a Newcastle lass who has lived out there 26 years, who is brilliant at her job and so welcoming. It was almost a teary departure!
The apartments are of a high standard with excellent sea views. They also have air con (At 7 Euros a day for a 2 bed apartment from mid June to end of the season.)
The Aquarius taverna is next door and part of the small complex and run by Spiros and his family. This offers excellent food for all tastes and is family friendly and open 'til late. We have had a number of good nights here with a good fun Greek night every Saturday.
Located just outside Sidari centre in the canal d'amour area is an excellent location with the main beach just 3-4 mins walk away and the centre no more 10mins away.
If you want a great holiday, go here, simply brilliant.

There were 7 of us who went to the Kanali it was the best apartments we have ever stayed at.
All the staff are so friendly, we even received a xmas card from Jeni and Spiros. We are definitely going to make this a regular yearly trip back, we love it so much and they definitely made it extra special (thanks guys).
The rooms are a nice size no matter what room you’re in its a lovely view. There are arrivals Monday and Friday very early in the morning and Jeni without fail comes down to the high st and picks up the luggage so you don’t have to lug it up the cobbly lane.
Also our holiday rep Becky was very helpful and friendly, we hope she is there again this year. Some mornings my teenage daughters would come back to the apartment from being in town on the booze and Spiros would do them some food without a moan or a groan, how lovely is that, you couldn’t ask for a nicer environment could you.
