My sister and I (39&30) decided to have a nice cheap holiday somewhere warm in Europe. After little reseach I chose Kavos without realising this being a party place (my fault). Dont take me wrong, we had a lovely time, but unfortunately, its mostly just because we made it ourselves. It is impossible to get a good night sleep in this hotel. There was a night where after 5 hours of us trying to get some sleep (at 7am) I had to go downstairs and tell off 15 kids in the bar to keep the noise levels down as the bar manager just wanted to solve the problem with closing the doors, which wouldnt make any difference as these kids been screeming like a chimpanzees, running around the whole area, slamming the doors...and not just for one night.
The echo from the surrounding areas and the same 5 tunes you have been forced to listen till 3-4pm every night. The hotel staff itself been OK all tho we came across not so warm welcome at the beginning and even more of a stares after I have asked the receptionist to clean our room (we had a foot prints on the floor, the table was full of dust and one of the bedsheets been was a dirty yellow-ish colour - I left that one). We asked to move from the horrible lower ground room onto the first floor due to better view and sense of security and they accommodated our request. The room was still simple and you wouldnt unpack your clothes in that smelly wardrobe, but it was slightly better... The ol cleaning ladies been always smiling and lovely and Im sure they've been doing their job well inspite of being paid peanuts dealing with spoiled bratty ****** British teenagers...
We have been told this hotel has been voted the best hotel of the area. I dread to think what others looked like! There is a constant problem with mosquitos in Grece. This is due to a thin pipes in a sewage system, that doesnt allow you to dispose the toilet paper in the toilet, but in the bins next to it. This all makes the smell and the invasion of mosquitos often quite overwhelming...
he location in the hotel is near all the 'liveliness' and handy food store near by and far enough for it not to be right in the centre. Also, just 5 minute walk from the beach. The food and staff at the pool bar, well, they werent very friendly to us first time, so we never went back... They didnt even have a matches at the bar...neither put any effort to get us a fire.., so no joy there.
Another thing is - dont go for breakfast option! We have been told, we will be having a 'continental breakfast'. All you get is awful English toast with jam or honey and the choice of coffee or tea every single morning! If you would like to buy these breakfast, they charge you 4EUR for this! In any of the bars around the corner, you can get full English breakfast for 1.50EUR!! Also, the receptionist will after all this give you ******** about taking a little bit of milk in your room...scary.. :-)
Oh and airconditioning you have to pay for extra too. The cheapest version is 30EUR for a week!
Hm, no, definitely not a place to recommend or go back to. The reason why we had a nice time was everything but the place we stayed in... Dont go there if you:
*are a family
*want to have a romantic time with your other half
*want to relax
*are older than 18 or young, but sensible enough to enjoy life more rewarding way than getting slaughtered every night pucking from the balcony
*want to experience Greece

we stayed at the morfeas hotel this summer and there was 11 girls, we were really surprised at how fantastic the morfeas was as we were expecting something completely different. it was everything we needed for our holiday, the rooms were spacious and although we went self-catering they provided us with most of the utensils we needed. the rooms were cleaned regularly and there was never any cockroaches or other bugs. the pool was also fantastic and there was always enough sunbeds throughout the day, the food at the hotel was also fine and not expensive at all. it was close to all the bars and restaurants which was exactly what we wanted! i would definitely recommend this hotel for young people as it is safe and perfect if your on a party holiday. we would definitely come again!

I thought the place was great, the people were lovely.. I wish i could've stayed longer.. Its clean and safe, it's just what you what when you go away... Can't wait to get back there.x

The website claims they are far enough from any serious noise/clubs that you can sleep. DO NOT GO HERE unless you don't mind club anthems being blasted across the hotel till 3-4am. The worst part is that the music isn't just from the surrounding bars/clubs; it's from the hotel bar itself!! IT's tiny, and yet they insist on having they're own BAD DJ that plays the same 5 club songs over and again with the bass turned up. I now cringe at dizzee rascal ('bonkers' kept me up every night). The day is just as bad. The pool has a bar where the speakers are linked with a laptop containing the worst songs of today, all dance/club or radio 1 (its GREECE!! what the hell were they thinking??), none of which anyone should hear when they want to chillout at the pool after a late night. If you want to holiday in greece and want GREECE, NOT the back end of ENGLAND, don't even consider this hotel and DON'T GO NEAR KAVOS. IT smells of sewage frequently (serious-the pipes are old) and the bins are always full and smell worse because of the heat. The staff were ok, but the worst part by far was the lack of sleep u get in this place. Also the breakfast here is just toast with a couple of mini pain au chocolat's. DO NOT BRING YOUR FAMILY HERE .

best holiday ever !!
is definately an 18-30 place and hotel but there was familys there that felt quite comfortable!
staff were lovely and more than helpful!
pool party is a must!
rooms were cleaned every day and maid was lovely.
would def go back again
was worried about the reviews but after staying there myself can honestly say i would go there again.
ate at the hotel every night food was brill
10/10!!!

This hotel is the best I've stayed in. If your on a 18-30 holiday and just want to get on it everyday this is the ideal place to stay! staff are brilliant, so friendly very helpful. Theres an entertainer who is fab! always about, playing music, interacting with guests, having competions etc. Every thursday the hotel has a pool party and it is by far one of the best nights in Kavos! lots of games, food and not to mention ALCOHOL!! the rooms are great only down fall was the shower but if your on a lively hotel you make do with what you have and it wasn't the worst! the food is also lovely! I ate there most of my holiday and loved it, service was great! There was a few older people at the hotel with kids and i think its fair to say this hotel is not designed for familes or older people.
I will defo be back at this hotel next year!

There was a group of 12 of us from Scotland and we all had a blast :)
The hotel was perfect distance from the strip for a sleep but yet you were right on the strips door step !
Mickey the Entertainment Guy was awesome ! Was a better REP than the actual Thomas Cook Reps.
The Pool area was great the only downside was that you weren't allowed to take in your own water, but the pool atmosphere was amazing and plenty of sunbeds and events to keep you entertained.
The rooms were basic but perfect, have to say that we loved the Toastie Maker I don't think we could have survived without it ! I would highly recommend air condition its not too pricey it was 50euros for two weeks so there was three in a room so it was fine !
We never really ate at the hotel but the one breakfast we had there was top notch. And last but no least the bar was amazing, so many cocktails and different shots!!! Definatley try a flaming lamborghini, sex with the devil and not forgetting the legendary Morfeas Mule !
Highly recommend this hotel, perfect for a young lively holiday !!

just got back from a week in kavos and it was the BEST time ever!
there was 9 of us girls, all 18 and this was our first kind of holiday like this so i think we were all a bit nervous. we'd read so many different reviews about morfeas hotel ranging from terrible to amazing so i didnt have very high expectations, but after spending a week there i can say it was such a nice place! the rooms are basic, so dont expect luxury! but everyting was clean and tidy when we arrived and muc better than i expected! the maids came everyday i think, if not at least one every 2 days. you have to accept that people come to kavos to party so expect noisy neighbours at 5am, but to be honest most of the time the noise wasnt an issue because you were either out on the strip ormaking noise aswell! not a huge fan of the reps, but the staff at the hotel were lovely. 24 hour bar was good and the pool area is really nice, though get up early if you want to get a sun lounger! the beach is literally 5 minutes away and even though most people told us it was a rubbish beach we all thought it was really nice! a bit of rubbish, but iveseen fr worse places! the hotel food is pretty good too though we only went there once, plenty of places to eat on the strip and stuff :) the hotel is in a perfect position, 5 minutes from the beach, 2 minutes away from a minimarket, and about 10 minutes untill the heart of the strip so you can sleep without hearing all the music and noise! probably not the best place to go if youre a couple, all the couples we saw seemed to be a bit quiet, but definately a great place to go to with a group of friends :D and try the morfeas mule cocktail its good :) aircon and safety boxes can be bought for the week when you arrive. Kavos was so much nicer than i thought it was going to be, and the hotel was definately a nice place, i would go there again!

6 of us had the best time ever at the Morfeas. Staff are so friendly and helpful. The rooms are basic if you go bed & breakfast, but we were never in our rooms anyway so didnt matter. Hotel bar was 24 hour, so when all the music stopped on the strip (unsure why?), we would generally just head back there, as did most people in the hotel. Would definitly recommend going to the pool party at the Morfeas, was absolutley brilliant and such a laugh! We went on the Booze Cruise (which we booked ourselves not through the reps) so would definitly recommend that too. Overall this Hotel is fun & entertaining. Dont understand why it has bad reviews for cockroaches etc, as we didnt even see one! Would definitly go back! :D x

just come back from a week at the morfeas with 7 of my mates,the hotel was ace,very clean, the staff were brill,very friendly all in all a wicked week away!!!!
