We went for the Oktoberfest, which was brilliant! Great atmosphere, lots of beer in very large quantities.
The hotel was in easy reach of the fest, which meant a stroll back after a days drinking was perfect.
The transport system in Germany is accessible and frequent so no matter where you stay in the city the transport will aid you.
