Hotel rooms are nice but first floor ones have much nicer outlooks than basement or ground ones and are more secure, (see below.) Check your windows are locked and the screens are across.
Staff are very friendly but the management are very unhelpful. Pathetic when you have had your wallet stolen during the night from your room. Don’t expect them to know how to contact the police or want to initially help you move rooms and don’t expect the police to be interested. Despite help from our rep it took us four attempts to get it recorded as a theft rather than a lost wallet. To be fair there did seem to be a mini crime spree the weeks we were there & this was probably a Brit on holiday. However another hotel responded much more supportively in similar circumstances to another couple.
The beach is very close and the sea warm and shallow although the beach is not private as advertised and sunbeds cost 5e a day for residents as well. There is no pool nearby that you could use.
Overall the resort is easy to access with lots of restaurants even for 2 weeks. We recommend the guided bike tour but watch out for the hills
