Lovely hotel, good food, friendly staff, cleanliness 100%, swimming pool very small, depth 2" to 6'7" to include every age group, which is rather stupid because it was closed on a number of occassions due to human excreation. All inclusive had to pay for drinks after 12... more

We had the pleasure of staying at this resort late last year - belated review but sometimes better to write in hind-sight. We, like most families (2 children aged 10 & 14) wanted a relaxing but fun packed holiday that all parties would enjoy. We were not disappointed. From... more

first holiday aboard, it was brillaint!
we surfed the net before we went and found what people had wrote very helpful so now i have just returned today with my family, im here to tell you my views. Firstly the rooms are lovely loads of room cleaned every day top to bottom, and the all have lovely views and a place to sit and watch night life if you have young kids. the food, when we first went in to eat we didnt go much on it, but after two days you give things a go and end up surpised. there is a huge spread right down to afters. be prepared to have to pay for drinks with evening meal. only breakfast drinks are free. and while im thinking about it, if you are going half board, hire out a fridge for about 50 euros for the week. the hotel dont tell you about this the reps are meant to but didnt tell us till the last day!. every day the whole hotel is cleaned top to bottom you cant get a cleaner hotel. every morning about 7 am people start putting their towels out on sunbeds to keep there place. the pools are brill and very very child friendly. the beach is a 2 min walk around the corner and its lovely.. We went on a trip on a glass bottom boat, if you are up for a laugh or like to watch other people being silly then go, with the kids aswell. it was the best day ever. take the video camera! right anymore questions just email me. but to round everything up we are going back next year!
A great holiday
I have just returned today 13 06 2004 from the Serenis Country Club. The standard of the accomadation is impeccable along with the service of all of the staff. The food excellent, plenty of choice for everybody. However you will enjoy this hotel if your children join in with the activates on offer. The kids entertainers are excellent.
Don't want to go anywhere else!
Having been twice already to the Seaview, we have now booked another holiday there. The standard of cleanliness is exemplary, the activities varied and pleasurable and the staff couldn't be more helpful. Its position is perfect – near enough to nightlife but far enough away to be quiet. We cannot recommend it enough. Eileen and Helen
regular guests
Myself and my two children stayed at the Seaview 6 times and the last time it had changed to Airtours. When it was Thomsons it was outstanding. the hotel and staff are still excellent but the tone of the hotel and entertainment has serverely dropped in quality. The guests are rude, children unruly and the staff have my sympathy as they are used to a different standard of behaviour from the English guests. It must be a culture shock for them. Let Thomsons have it back please.
Porte de torrent pleasure
The Sirens country club is a pleasure to stay in Located in Porte de torrent it is an ideal location quite close to San/Ant but far enough away to keep your holiday out of the reach of ibiza lads and ladetes. There is a taxi boat in to San/ Ant or a brisk 15 to 20 min walk would take you into the San/Ant, bay. With a beach just around corner from hotel, it does make a perfect holiday you can either sit around the very large very child friendly pool,or just stroll gently around the corner to a nice little beach, with scattered shops and bars near by. The hotel also has shops and medical facilities nr to the front, including a supermarket. As for the hotel itself, a wonderfull place having had family living in I biza for 20 yrs, my wife and I used to walk through the hotel site before the hotel was there, then a shell was erected and left standing for a period of years due to the recession, and we still carried on using the site as a cut through from Porte de torrent to san Ant, trying to avoiding the pack of dogs that took up residence whilst being un used. But we were delighted when the hotel was completed, as we had watched it grow over the years, we to had vist as see what it was like . So we decided to book a weeks hoiliday, by now we have hundreds of children( two actually). The best holiday I have had in Ibiza, I say holiday we have vitisted the hotel frequently over the years and all our family who visit also stay there. The staff are friendly, the hotel lay out and gardens are excellent. services excellent. Food excellent. both my daughters love it and the biggest problem is following holidays have difficuilty matching up to the Sea view. You do pay a little more to stay at seaview but believe me its worth every penny. I like to say thankyou to all the staff there for many happy holidays my family have had. See you all soon.
Excellent *****
Seaview is an excellent hotel. Went for first time last year and going again soon. There was a lot of teenagers there but did not see any trouble. Have 2 older children myself and they really enjoyed the holiday. The hotel is spotless and the staff really friendly. Food is very nice. As for this hotel going down hill since Airtours have taken over its just not true. Never had one bad holiday with them. (like what we had when we travelled with thompson superfamily). I can truly recommend this hotel to any family whether you have young or older children. They are all catered for.
Hotel will get bad reputation
I agree with the review dated mar 31, 2004. I have stayed at this hotel 6 times in all, the first few times with Thomson which was great, and the others with Airtours not so great, and i must say that standards at this hotel is dropping. Gangs of teenagers are roaming aroung the hotel all times of the night getting drunk and making noise, but it isn't just them, parents are allowing the younger children to run riot aswell. Last year we were watching a musician in the piano bar, and a few young children sitting in front of him were throwing coins and pieces of paper at him, where were the parents to stop this?, also children were playing football right next to the outside entertainment, the ball many times getting kicked into the audience we were having to hold onto our drinks all night in fear that they might be hit by the ball, its such a pity ,as the hotel staff are brilliant and the hotel is immaculate, but people like this are going to downgrade this hotel very quickly. I would say to Airtours, sort this out now.
Brilliant!
Our family went here in 2002 and had an absolutely fabulous time. We had a studio sleeping 4, and this was bigger than any other med apartment I have stayed in. It was spotlessly clean and the biggest hit with me was the balcony overloking the sea. What a beautiful view! Although our boys (aged 8 & 6 at the time) would not join in the arranged kids clubs, the children who did join in seemed to have a great time. The pool bar food was delicious. We did find that the shp just over the road from the hotel reception was a little more expensive than the shop on the other side of the beach, and would go to the other side of the beach every couple of days or so to stock up on the drinks for the children as this worked out considerably cheaper (cans half price).
Shame to spoil a good hotel
We have stayed at the Sirenis on 3 previous occasions when run by Thomson's. However, the hotel is now run by Airtours and during our holiday in 2003 we were subjected to large groups of older children roaming round the hotel, drinking and smoking. This I feel was due to the heat club, which encourages older children to make friends. This is not a problem to me as I have two children of my own, but what I do object to is them being allowed to roam around the hotel at all hours, drinking and fighting and their parents are nowhere to be seen.Unfortunately this spoilt my holiday and in my opinion is giving the hotel a bad name and myself and my family will not be returning to this hotel.
Best holiday!
Went to ibiza 2yrs ago with my family and best mate and it was the best holiday we have all had, and thats why we are going bac this yr. me and my friend are both 17 and looking foward to going up the great clubs in ibiza, there is so much to do for the teenagers, there are bus trips to the night clucbs and day activities etc from the hotel. The hotel itself is in great condition and all the staff are really friendly and helpful. The rooms are lovely and clean and the cleaning ladies are always round in the mornings!!! The room has good air conditioning which is great cuz we all love a nice cool room to come back to! There are loads of watersports activities in the pool in the afternoon too for the younger children too.The food at the hotel is lovely especially the outside snack bars near the pool, pool is kept nice and clean and a nice big pool one which u can take ur lilos good for the sunbathing. great holiday and hotel thats why were going again this yr!
