" Brilliant overall "

Very nice hotel, a true 4 stars, fantastic location next to the sea as the name suggests, nice rooms, nice clean pool, all very clean, Thomas Cook entertainment team really good and put lots of effort into making the holiday, childrens entertainers especially good, not sure if they will be their in 2010 as the hotel is going all inclusive.
Food was reasonable, could be a bit warmer from the buffet, overall though a great place to stay and a very nice resort.

Advice: quiet, few shops, bars etc not far to san an centre by bus

" Ideal for a late holiday  "

Travelled with husband and friends for a late weeks holiday. Faxed hotel and asked to have rooms together which they managed to do. Rooms were great over looking pool with a partial sea view. Food was good. most of the staff were very nice especially Maria on the reception desk. Unfortunately with it being so late the hotel was getting ready to close and entertainment was poorer than expected. Plenty of sunbeds as the hotel was very quiet but would hate peak season there. Went to San Antonia and Ibiza both of which were very quiet. Obviously October is too late for Ibiza. Would certainly return to Sirenis Seaview either early or June of Sept. Beach was lovely and handy for getting boat to San Antonio. Very nice restaurant just as you go anto the beach from hotel - excellent food

Advice: Plenty of shops bars restaurants only about 10 minutes walk

Activities: Boat to San Antonio and Ibiza at night

" Mixed Feelings "

Booked here on the advice of friends so was looking forward to a good holiday.
We arrived to find our room not ready and the reception staff didnt really know what an apology was. Told we had to wait 1 and half hours for it to be ready. Not a good start.
When we finally got to the room we had the most amazing view across the sea and a huge balcony. We were on the top floor so that probably explains that. Rooms were spacious and more than adequate for our family. We had however, booked self catering, and how you are supposed to do that with only 2 hob rings and no oven is a beyond me. This meant we ate out every night. Microwave was also full of rust.
Food at the hotel was very overpriced and I would advise avoiding the snack bar for meals as it was not very pleasant. Ok for a toasted sandwich though. Soft drinks also very expensive. We decided to pay to eat in the restaurant a couple of nights which had a very good choice of food as long as you didn`t mind standing in a school dinner type queue for, and although there was a lot of choice,it all seemed to taste the same after a while.
Really hated having to wake up at a ridiculous hour to get a decent sunbed place which enabled us to keep an eye on the children. And if you ever wondered what a sardine must feel like, then hit the pool area! They definately need to re-think the system they use. Also pool was closed 5 times during our 2 week stay, due to thoughtless parents not putting nappies on their children or allowing them to swim after eating, which resulted in vomit in the pool. This meant the pool was closed for the rest of the day.
Thomas Cook reps were fantastic!! Don`t know how they have so much energy. PA system did get annoying after a while especially when you wanted a peaceful read ,but cannot fault the work they do. Reception staff were rude and need to be aware that some English people can understand their rudeness and sarcasm. Security guards were exceptionally polite as were the chambermaids and rooms were cleaned to a great standard, always with fresh towels. Bar staff and waiters were not as friendly as I would of expected in a family resort. They also dont seem to have an age limit on who they serve alcohol to.
The beach is lovely and close and fabulous for swimming with the fishes. Take some bread down to the sea with you and the fish will eat it out of your hands. Kept very clean too but sunbeds were 6 euros each and another 6 if you wanted to use an unbrella. Take a lilo. Def cheaper. Only annoying thing is the sunglasses sellers that keep pushing for business.
Location wise, its a bit out of the way. There is nothing really to do and not many restaurants to choose from. We found the Bull Bar and EL Virot to be the best, they were on the beach. Do double check your bill though!!
So overall, we had a good time, weather was fab, company was great and we got a lovely tan. Wouldn`t recommend it to anyone though who doesn`t like a holiday camp style vacation.

" sunbeds "

Stayed here with my wife and teenage child in july. The hotel and staff were excellent and really friendly. The only gripe i have is the putting of towels on sunbeds. This seem to happen from 1am onwards. If you wanted a good spot you had to do this which i think is very unfair for all the other people. I had to get up at 6.30 every morning to get a sunbed. When you are on holidays this is too early and they should have a better system and a more fair one. Besides this i would recommend here for families.

Advice: Great beach

" One amazing hoilday "

Traveled with my wife and 2 children of the ages of 14 and 10 and they both loved the hoilday.
I traveled to the seaview a few mouths ago and we had an amazing time this was the third time i have been to the seaview this is a great place to go if u want a good family hoilday restrant food was very nice and had very friendly staff
Hotel staff very nice and could speak very good english
bar was very expensive but staff very friendly
swimming pool we was told on the bus it was the biggest pool in ibiza and they were right the only let down about the pool was you was not aloud inflateables in the pool and the pool was closed two times due to saftey issues.
The Room was very nice and clean was cleaned 6 times a week and got fresh towels every time they cleaned
we went half board and we was not expecting a fridge and kettle and cooker but we had all this. the room has everythink for all your needs.
Entertainment was very good a few shows that was not great but we went for a walk to the shops when thease where on the staff knew how to keep you entertained all day and evening but the staff them selfs very very nice and kept the kids and adults happy all day.
i do recomend this hoilday to anyone this is a great place for all ages
And also their is a great beach just a 5 min walk from the hotel with boats that you can get to all the diffrent islands and a bus that stops right outside the hotel and if you want a taxi the hotel will phone one for u and they will pick you up outside the hotel.
if you go to the seaview you will have a great hoilday.
10/10 hotel.

Advice: Great hotel with 10/10 all over.

Activities: the beach that was a 5 min walk.

" Great Family Holiday "

This hotel is a perfect base for a family holiday, it's nice and quiet but with plenty going on. The beach is less than a 5 minute walk and its lovely very small with just a couple of cafes which all freshly cooked food. The hotel is great, our appartment was and roomy and the cleaning service is second to none. The location is great only a 10 minute walk to San Antonio Bay where there is a wide selection of restaurants/cafes. I would definately recommend this hotel and would most certianly go back.

" review on sirennis  "

having returned to ireland from the sirennis seaview country club on the 10th July after staying there for 2 weeks with 2 children aged 7 and 14, we all enjoyed this holiday. It is a lovely place with excellent staff both in reception and also in the bar, they are very helpful and courteous. The apartments are very well maintained and cleaned every day. We ate in the restaurant only once and I would not recommend it , the food in the snack bar was ok.
The entertainment team works very hard but I dont think that the entertainment at night is very good, the "Take That " and the the "Hypnotist" are very enjoyable but the "Robbie Williams" act is not very good.
We stayed in the Almond House in a one bedroom and the only downside is that there is no air conditioning in the main bedroom .
We found that the restaurant Bouacalla was very good and efficient about 10 minutes walk from the apartments. We also enjoyed "Es Verde" on the beach.
The only downside of this apartment complex is that there is not too much happening outside, the waterpark is a good bit away so you would need to get a taxi or a few buses which would be a very expensive day. I also think that the hippy market is really not worth a visit and it costs 20 eure for an adult to get there.
You need to be up around 7 or 7.30 to get a sunbed around the pool if you are not fussy where you sit then it easy enough to get one later on.
Having said all this i woul recommend this complex as it is a lovely compex overlooking the sea and also berside the beach but I think one week might be enough to spend here

Advice: yes

Activities: bouacalla

" fab hotel "

we have just returned from ibiza and loved the seaview. we were self catering in almond house on the top floor in a 1 bed apartment. The apartment was fantastic and the balcony was massive and more importantly secure for our toddler. as i was travelling with another party i emailed hotel before hand to ask for rooms together which they did, check in was quick and room was clean and ready for us which i wasnt expecting as previosly read this isnt always the case if you fly early morning. Pool is great for the kids, plenty of sun loungers and umberellas. Must urge parents to put swimming nappies on small children as pool was closed twice in our 11 days, no fault of the hotel but it spoils the day for everyone its basic common sense. Snack bar is great and the best iv had during my travels. the drinks are expensive but the food is reasonable given that ibiza in general is expensive this year. the kids fish finger meal is great value and big portion 4 chunky fish fingers and fries for 2.50 euro. They also dont mind you bringing your own food and drinks to the pool and will even give you a cup of ice if requested which is what a lot did. i did pay to eat one night in buffet but didnt recon a lot to it for 10 euro per head you could eat out else where. I FULLY recommend relish its a lovely small restaurant in the bay next door to the internet cafe roughly opposit the old tavern, the meals are fantastic all home cooked and good price for the quality and portion size you get. I had lamb chops, mash and mint gravy was 12 euro but worth every penny, hubby had chicken breast bacon and mushroom sauce with garlic flavoured rice also lush and 9.99 euro. i was disappointed we found it on last night!!!. casablanca is good for breakfast although service is a little slow its cheap and close to hotel and tastes english. Id def recommend going to suma the supermarket which is left at the cross roads at casablanca and then left again, the price difference is alot and could save you a good 50 euro a week if you are buying drinks and alcohol example a big bottle of san miguel is 96 cents in suma but is over 2 euro in serenis and spa. if your scotch and you like irn bru make room in your luggage its 4.30 euro a bottle!!
the rooms are clean although the cleaner was a bit lax with the jobs but then we had same one every day maybe she was just a little lazy, it was clean just maybe could have done with a touch more effort. The hotel doesnt provide teatowels so take your own which we forgot little things like that and dishcloths eat into your euros. bus service is fantastic leaves hotel every 5 past hr until midnight comes back every half past till 11.30 a taxi after midnight will set u back about 10 euros from san antonio, and 22 from privilage. ask around if going to clubs as we got free bus from bn3 to privilage/amnesia the reps dont always tell u. the reps also didnt tell us about the health care whilst away. my daughter became ill and as i knew it was her throat and ears i just needed a prescription for anti biotics. my insurance had an excess of £50 (check yours) which i felt was alot just for some basic tablets so asked for the number of the local doctor which they were reluctant to give recommending a certain private dr which charges min 80 euro. i had to search myself and ask around at chemists for the clinic which i got a taxi to (was behind bus station on a st called alicante i think) the dr was fantasic saw us immediately with just the E111 gave her a full examination and gave paracetamol and amoicillin for just 2 euro. cant fault the service at all. came back to hotel to inform reps who were all thankful only to be told day later by another that they know about the clinic but arnt allowed to recommend it as they have a contract with this private dr, i was quiet mad about this and think its unfair as some people dont have money to pay 80 euro per person upfront with a 50 quid excess esp if the whole family come down with something. But this is a fault with thomas cook not the hotel
i felt the entertainment was ok, during the day was great not too much but there if you wanted it. on a night some nights were good others average. entertainment was same line up as casablanca so we saw some acts their where was better atmosphere and cheaper drinks. the pool and hotel look lovely on a night and was nice to sit on balcony and listern to the singers some nights
we will def go back, maybe even next year and book 1 bed s/c again as was fab hotel in a quiet but accessable location

Advice: quiet with small beach. easy flat walk to san antonio bay and san antonio with regular bus service

Activities: relish restaurant, casablanca bar, ibiza town at night

" amazing :-) "

absolutely loved this holiday!! Its got excellent entertainment for the whole family and the entertainment goes on from about 9:00am till midnight and it is superb, the kids enjoyed every bit of it. The views are stunning and the beach is only a couple of minutes away. You can get a boat or a bus to San Antonio which is about 30 minutes away and it is an amazing place to visit. You can do various activities like parasailing, snorkeling, diving, speedboating and dolphin watching. Seaview country club is a stunning place and should be a 5 star hotel, the staff are freindly and the entertainment team are very funny and freindly. Weather is amazing and the the beach is a good place for snorkellers as there are different varietys of fish and sealife to see.
i would DEFINATELY return to this hotel as i had an excellent time.
i would recommend this hotel to anyone and if you do wish to take this accommodation to stay in, i shall promise you that you will be surprised it is a 4 star. :-)

Advice: i loved it :-)

" Having fun in Ibiza! "

We had a fabulous week at the Sirenis Hotel. We booked half board, and was very pleased at the standard and quality of food at both breakfast and evening meals. Unless you are really fussy you would always find something good to eat. I was suprised they had a bakers on site, we all loved the fresh pain au chocolates and croissants. Our room was opposite the beach, sea, so lovely views. We also had a great balcony with washing line etc. The swimming pools are excellent for young children, very safe and clean. The grounds of the hotel are very well maintained. The entertainment is a bit like being at a holiday camp in the evenings, but ideal if you have kids,of all ages really.
The only negative comment would be the price of drinks, snacks around the hotel bar. We would certainly return here but would pack snacks for our little one, as even the supermarkets are much more expencive than back home. A Fruit Shoot at the hotel cost 3 euros 90?! and 3 packets of crisps 4 euros.
So if your thinking of booking you will have a great time im sure, definately good value for money if your half board.

" sirenis seaview club hotel "

On arrival I was very impressed with our Hotel for the price we paid, Reception staff were very helpful, walking through the complex to get to our apartment was a fare distance from reception but we felt very safe. We were on half board, but if you were self catering the apartments were equip with a basic kitchen to get by. The apartment rooms were large and very clean, which were visited by friendly maids. Who were always willing to help in anyway they could even though they spoke very little English. Meals provided in the restaurant not the best I've had but you would'nt starve, there was so much choices. Resort had a good mix of people from all walks life, very good for families, Kids World club, their staff were excellent kept the children entertained. The pool was clean and had lift guards on duty at all times, young and old had a great time by the pool. But the resort needs to put on more entertainment for the evenings. We had a fabulous time. I would recommend. I will be coming back to this resort.
Top Tips Local bus picks up, straight outside the hotel to take you to San Antonio bay.
sandy beach a few minutes walk to the right of the hotel, but sun beds are for hire. there are a few restaurants around the beach and a Spar shop near by.
For self-caterer there are a few local shops within minute walk from the hotel but can be a little pricey
Down side the hotel is far from the best of night life,

Advice: yes Iam missing my time there already, cant wait to visit again

Activities: I went on the Island tour where we saw a little of everything but not enough time but it was good

" Good value family hotel "

Stayed here for a week at the end of May. Booked it with 5 weeks to go - then read the reviews. Was a bit put off but I knew someone who had been and they recommended it. Only paid £780 half board for myself and two children during half term week, flying from our local airport 5 mins away so was willing to take a chance. And was glad I did.
I booked a studio room and it was just that - one open plan room as on the pics though there was an apartment option which had a separate room. As I was half board the cooking facilities didn't bother me but be aware it is only a sink, fridge, microwave and a two ring hob in what could have been a wardrobe in a former life. The only dining area is on the patio. Rooms were cleaned regularly - just put the sign on the door, they always cleaned ours.
I agree, it is a fairly quite area and the Thomas Cook reps do provide lots of haven/butlins type entertainment for the kids, my son of 9 was well happy with the football-basketball-snooker-pool-table tennis knockouts. My daughter of 15 was less enthusiastic but the weather was good. Evening entertainment isn't great and the Robbie guy sounded more like a poor version of Tony Hadley from Spandau. There is a nightclub for over 16's but it doesn't open till 11pm and I'm not actually sure if it was open. The only night we ventured down there was the Man U/Barca game which they put on the big screen - oh and there is a TV/cinema room and a small arcade. All very safe for kids.
The hotel was 95% British - the sister hotel just down the road is pretty much German/European I think. I don't think I ever saw any towels on the sun loungers that weren't being used but then I wasn't up at 7 checking. When I arrived poolside at about 10.30, there were loads of beds available. Maybe I was around the other side of the pool? This is definitely a family hotel with grandparents there aswell.
There is a pretty long road to San Antonio Bay which can be a bit offputting if going out at night but lots of people did it and we just made sure we walked behind other families. San Antonio itself is about 50 mins walk though there is a bus hourly. It was busier there but nothing like I'd expected to see. Probably a bit early in the season. Thank god. Boat trips are available from the harbour - 3 hour trip with a stop to dive into the sea or use the slides was 20 Euro's for adults and 10 for kids - cheaper than we'd paid in Rhodes and Canaries, kids loved it.
The beach is round the corner to the right. Didn't spend too much time there but it was quiet and safe with pedalo's etc. Also a ferry to San Antonio at 6 Euro's return - double the price of the bus.
All in all - I would go again. It was a nice family break, hotel was clean and staff were very friendly. If you're self catering, you may struggle. The supermarkets by the hotel are a bit sparse and dear and I've already mentioned the cooking facilities. With the Euro being equivalent to the pound nearly - its probably worth going half board. Most of the food was fairly good - there's quite a bit of choice and there was only one night we ended up a bit stuck and had pizza and chips. I didn't like the bacon/sausages either but there is choice and a grill area - they will make you omelettes/fried eggs/pancakes every morning so you wont starve. If you are looking for a lively area with loads of bars and restaurants - you're best off looking elsewhere on the island.
Oh, by the way - there was two Internet computers in the foyer and three in the room before the dining room though the connection was slow and crashed a bit. There was also a VIP suite with better facilities that someone else referred to.

Advice: Quiet location - few restaurants on the beach or walk to San Antonio bay.

Activities: Boat trip to Es Vedra was enjoyable and not too expensive.

" lovely family resort "

Just back from a wonderful holiday at the sirena seaview with my 2 young daughters. The weather was absolutely fantastic the hotel was excellent the food was superb and the entertainment a delight. My Eldest daughter made lovely friends and had great craic around the many pools. My baby daughter loved it and sampled loads of the buffet as it varied every day with a great selection to choose from. Although the only fing I would reccommend would be to get a taxi from the iarport when you arive as it is just as cheap as shuttle or coach transfer and you go direct to your hotel. We arived in the wee hours of the morning and waited 50 minutes and our transfer still hadn't arrived so we had to get a taxi.

Advice: Quiet resort for a relaxing family holiday. Beach on your doorstep.

Activities: Try the many restasurants down over looking the sea

" Sirenis Seaview Country Club "

We booked this last minute for the first week of the school holidays. We paid £700 self catering for 4 of us. The option was available for us to upgrade to half board which we did. What a bargain the food was fantastic a great range of meats fish veg pasta rice dishes. The staff were all very helpful and friendly and always had time to help you. The pool area was great for kids of all ages. Our children are 12 and 3 years old. The pool area is like a clover shape and very shallow in 3 sections with a deep section on its own plus a baby splash pool. There are plenty of sunbeds around the pool and also two set back areas which benefit from the sea breeze ( a sunbathers paradise). The entertainment was great too with all sorts going on both day n night. There are pool tables, tennis football courts. There is something for everyone. We had a one bedroom apartment in the sunflower wing which was fab. The balcony was massive. There is a little cove beach which is adequate and the water is lovely (lots of fish though). There are a couple of bars on the beach and a pizza restaurant which were great. If you are self catering across the beach at the side of the pizza restaurant are some steps go up these and there is a Spar (supermarket) which is cheaper than the one across from the hotel. It is a pleasant setting but is a 10 - 20 min walk into San Antonio Bay which is quite lively with lots of family bars and restaurants. The walk is quite a pleasant one and we found it lovely on an evening. The only down side to Ibiza is the price of things. We did find it expensive to other places we have visited but even this did not spoil our holidays. All in all we had a fab time and would recommend the Seaview County Club to everyone.

Advice: Quiet, pretty not far from the busy San Antonio Bay

Activities: Casa Blanca is great look for Jackie she is fab. We had some great nights here.

" excellent family holiday "

my husband, 3 year old son and 18 month old daughter and i have just returned from a week at the seaview. We all had a great time, nice and peacful before season getting going, weather lovely and resort met all our expectations. Particularily good for families but i would say suitable for other age groups also, bit out of the way but that suited us as resort well equipped.
Only one grumble...when eating in the restaurant we were only offered drinks twice out of the whole week. service lacking but unsure if because lack of staff before season getting going.
Otherwise service all good and an excellent holiday.
