" Mixed Feelings "
Submitted By: flutterbyWe arrived to find our room not ready and the reception staff didnt really know what an apology was. Told we had to wait 1 and half hours for it to be ready. Not a good start.
When we finally got to the room we had the most amazing view across the sea and a huge balcony. We were on the top floor so that probably explains that. Rooms were spacious and more than adequate for our family. We had however, booked self catering, and how you are supposed to do that with only 2 hob rings and no oven is a beyond me. This meant we ate out every night. Microwave was also full of rust.
Food at the hotel was very overpriced and I would advise avoiding the snack bar for meals as it was not very pleasant. Ok for a toasted sandwich though. Soft drinks also very expensive. We decided to pay to eat in the restaurant a couple of nights which had a very good choice of food as long as you didn`t mind standing in a school dinner type queue for, and although there was a lot of choice,it all seemed to taste the same after a while.
Really hated having to wake up at a ridiculous hour to get a decent sunbed place which enabled us to keep an eye on the children. And if you ever wondered what a sardine must feel like, then hit the pool area! They definately need to re-think the system they use. Also pool was closed 5 times during our 2 week stay, due to thoughtless parents not putting nappies on their children or allowing them to swim after eating, which resulted in vomit in the pool. This meant the pool was closed for the rest of the day.
Thomas Cook reps were fantastic!! Don`t know how they have so much energy. PA system did get annoying after a while especially when you wanted a peaceful read ,but cannot fault the work they do. Reception staff were rude and need to be aware that some English people can understand their rudeness and sarcasm. Security guards were exceptionally polite as were the chambermaids and rooms were cleaned to a great standard, always with fresh towels. Bar staff and waiters were not as friendly as I would of expected in a family resort. They also dont seem to have an age limit on who they serve alcohol to.
The beach is lovely and close and fabulous for swimming with the fishes. Take some bread down to the sea with you and the fish will eat it out of your hands. Kept very clean too but sunbeds were 6 euros each and another 6 if you wanted to use an unbrella. Take a lilo. Def cheaper. Only annoying thing is the sunglasses sellers that keep pushing for business.
Location wise, its a bit out of the way. There is nothing really to do and not many restaurants to choose from. We found the Bull Bar and EL Virot to be the best, they were on the beach. Do double check your bill though!!
So overall, we had a good time, weather was fab, company was great and we got a lovely tan. Wouldn`t recommend it to anyone though who doesn`t like a holiday camp style vacation.

Submitted By: robcrowe94I traveled to the seaview a few mouths ago and we had an amazing time this was the third time i have been to the seaview this is a great place to go if u want a good family hoilday restrant food was very nice and had very friendly staff
Hotel staff very nice and could speak very good english
bar was very expensive but staff very friendly
swimming pool we was told on the bus it was the biggest pool in ibiza and they were right the only let down about the pool was you was not aloud inflateables in the pool and the pool was closed two times due to saftey issues.
The Room was very nice and clean was cleaned 6 times a week and got fresh towels every time they cleaned
we went half board and we was not expecting a fridge and kettle and cooker but we had all this. the room has everythink for all your needs.
Entertainment was very good a few shows that was not great but we went for a walk to the shops when thease where on the staff knew how to keep you entertained all day and evening but the staff them selfs very very nice and kept the kids and adults happy all day.
i do recomend this hoilday to anyone this is a great place for all ages
And also their is a great beach just a 5 min walk from the hotel with boats that you can get to all the diffrent islands and a bus that stops right outside the hotel and if you want a taxi the hotel will phone one for u and they will pick you up outside the hotel.
if you go to the seaview you will have a great hoilday.
10/10 hotel.

" review on sirennis "
Submitted By: Scotty101The entertainment team works very hard but I dont think that the entertainment at night is very good, the "Take That " and the the "Hypnotist" are very enjoyable but the "Robbie Williams" act is not very good.
We stayed in the Almond House in a one bedroom and the only downside is that there is no air conditioning in the main bedroom .
We found that the restaurant Bouacalla was very good and efficient about 10 minutes walk from the apartments. We also enjoyed "Es Verde" on the beach.
The only downside of this apartment complex is that there is not too much happening outside, the waterpark is a good bit away so you would need to get a taxi or a few buses which would be a very expensive day. I also think that the hippy market is really not worth a visit and it costs 20 eure for an adult to get there.
You need to be up around 7 or 7.30 to get a sunbed around the pool if you are not fussy where you sit then it easy enough to get one later on.
Having said all this i woul recommend this complex as it is a lovely compex overlooking the sea and also berside the beach but I think one week might be enough to spend here
Advice: yes
Activities: bouacalla

" fab hotel "
Submitted By: chel82the rooms are clean although the cleaner was a bit lax with the jobs but then we had same one every day maybe she was just a little lazy, it was clean just maybe could have done with a touch more effort. The hotel doesnt provide teatowels so take your own which we forgot little things like that and dishcloths eat into your euros. bus service is fantastic leaves hotel every 5 past hr until midnight comes back every half past till 11.30 a taxi after midnight will set u back about 10 euros from san antonio, and 22 from privilage. ask around if going to clubs as we got free bus from bn3 to privilage/amnesia the reps dont always tell u. the reps also didnt tell us about the health care whilst away. my daughter became ill and as i knew it was her throat and ears i just needed a prescription for anti biotics. my insurance had an excess of £50 (check yours) which i felt was alot just for some basic tablets so asked for the number of the local doctor which they were reluctant to give recommending a certain private dr which charges min 80 euro. i had to search myself and ask around at chemists for the clinic which i got a taxi to (was behind bus station on a st called alicante i think) the dr was fantasic saw us immediately with just the E111 gave her a full examination and gave paracetamol and amoicillin for just 2 euro. cant fault the service at all. came back to hotel to inform reps who were all thankful only to be told day later by another that they know about the clinic but arnt allowed to recommend it as they have a contract with this private dr, i was quiet mad about this and think its unfair as some people dont have money to pay 80 euro per person upfront with a 50 quid excess esp if the whole family come down with something. But this is a fault with thomas cook not the hotel
i felt the entertainment was ok, during the day was great not too much but there if you wanted it. on a night some nights were good others average. entertainment was same line up as casablanca so we saw some acts their where was better atmosphere and cheaper drinks. the pool and hotel look lovely on a night and was nice to sit on balcony and listern to the singers some nights
we will def go back, maybe even next year and book 1 bed s/c again as was fab hotel in a quiet but accessable location
Advice: quiet with small beach. easy flat walk to san antonio bay and san antonio with regular bus service
Activities: relish restaurant, casablanca bar, ibiza town at night

" Having fun in Ibiza! "
Submitted By: ibizaljsThe only negative comment would be the price of drinks, snacks around the hotel bar. We would certainly return here but would pack snacks for our little one, as even the supermarkets are much more expencive than back home. A Fruit Shoot at the hotel cost 3 euros 90?! and 3 packets of crisps 4 euros.
So if your thinking of booking you will have a great time im sure, definately good value for money if your half board.

Submitted By: violet whitmore-brissettTop Tips Local bus picks up, straight outside the hotel to take you to San Antonio bay.
sandy beach a few minutes walk to the right of the hotel, but sun beds are for hire. there are a few restaurants around the beach and a Spar shop near by.
For self-caterer there are a few local shops within minute walk from the hotel but can be a little pricey
Down side the hotel is far from the best of night life,
Advice: yes Iam missing my time there already, cant wait to visit again
Activities: I went on the Island tour where we saw a little of everything but not enough time but it was good

" Good value family hotel "
Submitted By: we-threeI booked a studio room and it was just that - one open plan room as on the pics though there was an apartment option which had a separate room. As I was half board the cooking facilities didn't bother me but be aware it is only a sink, fridge, microwave and a two ring hob in what could have been a wardrobe in a former life. The only dining area is on the patio. Rooms were cleaned regularly - just put the sign on the door, they always cleaned ours.
I agree, it is a fairly quite area and the Thomas Cook reps do provide lots of haven/butlins type entertainment for the kids, my son of 9 was well happy with the football-basketball-snooker-pool-table tennis knockouts. My daughter of 15 was less enthusiastic but the weather was good. Evening entertainment isn't great and the Robbie guy sounded more like a poor version of Tony Hadley from Spandau. There is a nightclub for over 16's but it doesn't open till 11pm and I'm not actually sure if it was open. The only night we ventured down there was the Man U/Barca game which they put on the big screen - oh and there is a TV/cinema room and a small arcade. All very safe for kids.
The hotel was 95% British - the sister hotel just down the road is pretty much German/European I think. I don't think I ever saw any towels on the sun loungers that weren't being used but then I wasn't up at 7 checking. When I arrived poolside at about 10.30, there were loads of beds available. Maybe I was around the other side of the pool? This is definitely a family hotel with grandparents there aswell.
There is a pretty long road to San Antonio Bay which can be a bit offputting if going out at night but lots of people did it and we just made sure we walked behind other families. San Antonio itself is about 50 mins walk though there is a bus hourly. It was busier there but nothing like I'd expected to see. Probably a bit early in the season. Thank god. Boat trips are available from the harbour - 3 hour trip with a stop to dive into the sea or use the slides was 20 Euro's for adults and 10 for kids - cheaper than we'd paid in Rhodes and Canaries, kids loved it.
The beach is round the corner to the right. Didn't spend too much time there but it was quiet and safe with pedalo's etc. Also a ferry to San Antonio at 6 Euro's return - double the price of the bus.
All in all - I would go again. It was a nice family break, hotel was clean and staff were very friendly. If you're self catering, you may struggle. The supermarkets by the hotel are a bit sparse and dear and I've already mentioned the cooking facilities. With the Euro being equivalent to the pound nearly - its probably worth going half board. Most of the food was fairly good - there's quite a bit of choice and there was only one night we ended up a bit stuck and had pizza and chips. I didn't like the bacon/sausages either but there is choice and a grill area - they will make you omelettes/fried eggs/pancakes every morning so you wont starve. If you are looking for a lively area with loads of bars and restaurants - you're best off looking elsewhere on the island.
Oh, by the way - there was two Internet computers in the foyer and three in the room before the dining room though the connection was slow and crashed a bit. There was also a VIP suite with better facilities that someone else referred to.
Advice: Quiet location - few restaurants on the beach or walk to San Antonio bay.
Activities: Boat trip to Es Vedra was enjoyable and not too expensive.

Otherwise service all good and an excellent holiday.
