Sirenis Seaview
9 / 10
Oct 2008, attwood123

We went to the Sirenis Seaview in August 08 and we have booked to go again in September 09. As a family of 4, 2 adults and 2 teenagers we had a great holiday. The rooms were cleaned every day and fresh clean towels were also supplied every day. Nothing was too much for the cleaning staff. The only fault we had with the room was it was below one of the sun balconies and in the morning around 6.30 am people would drag the sun beds around to get there places for that day! So really it didn’t spoil the holiday but it was like having an alarm clock every morning. We never ate in the restaurant but it did look nice, we did however each in the pool bar for lunch one day and it cost more than the evening meal we had on the night in a restaurant in the BAY!!! This bill was also incorrect so if you eat in the pool bar check your bill. The kids really enjoyed it and the pool was really safe it had life guards on the whole time the pool was open.
There was always plenty going on around the pool so the kids and adults never got bored. We were self catering and found a couple of shops just across the beach which was really cheap. The only thing that was a disappointment was when it was time to come home we were vacated out of the room on the Friday at noon and we didn’t get picked up until 3.30am the next day… It was a really long day so next year we will pay to keep the room on even though I don’t agree we should need to… But hey if this is the only thing I can moan about… well I will say no more.

We have just returned from a week at...
9 / 10
Oct 2008, Miss K Strode

We have just returned from a week at the sea view, we got changed to this hotel at the last minute and after reading reviews i was very wary and had convinced myself i wouldnt like it..
also are a young couple and I was worried we would be too out of the way for anything.
However, how people can say the staff arent friendly i have no idea, they are all lovely even the cleaners were very friendly. the waiters are beyond excellent, expecially the head waiter.
yes the apartments are very basic but who goes on holiday to sit in the apartment?
the roads arent brilliant, but you dont have to walk far to a supermarket if you cut across the beach theres one much closer than going down to the busier end of the strip.
It is out of the way, more so than the hotel we were supposed to be staying in, but theres a bus right out side and a taxi into or from san antonio is only about 8 euros. They have tried to make it so if you have children you don't have to venture far for drinks, food, shops, with evening and daytime entertainment its just a complex with a beach very nearby. dont be put off by the reviews, i cant tell you how much i thought i would hate it but i would definately go back, even if it was just to see the staff, they are absolutely lovely. if you want a quiet holiday its fantastic, or if you have small children they are fab. all staff are good with children and have a lot of things for them to do while you can just relax near the pool.
Oh, and i am the fussiest eater you could wish to meet, and being half board, even i found things i enjoyed eating each night, so if i can find food i enjoyed, anyone can!
Its not a 5* hotel...but i had an excellent holiday and would go back..only maybe earlier in year so theres better weather!

just returned from a great week at...

Sep 2008, Mr K Wheatley

just returned from a great week at the seaview,on arrival was greeted by very polite reception staff who processed our booking in very quickly,we were told what room we had and how to get there as the complex is very large,we found our room with ease and when we opened the door was very pleased with the standard of the furnishing and how clean the room was,
we had a room which opened up straight onto a lovely pool, there was enough sunbeds for everyone even when we arrived at 2.30 in the afternoon.the grounds and public areas were allways clean, our room was cleaned daily with fresh towels everyday, the maids were always polite and did a great job .
the grounds were clean and you never saw any rubbish around the complex which is a credit to all who work there.
the food at the restaurant was spot on with a great choice everyday, the snack bar was good but because the euro was low against the pound made it a little expensive for drinks,(3.60 john smith,3 euros san migue,11 euros for a jug of sangria )
we found a spar shop across the beach which was cheaper for the essential holiday drinks ect,
the beach was 2mins away from the hotel which was nice and you could hire a sunbed for 6 euros.
the hotel itself was set over 5 blocks ,3 stories high you had to go through the reception everytime you wanted to leave so it made it a lot safer for the children, there was always some one at the desk 24 hours a day and security at night, the kids clubs had there own room in the hotel and was run by well trained staff and had all the saftey measures in place like sign in and out same person who drops of collects ,you knew your children were safe and having a good time.
entertainment was good all day and night ,leanne, frosty and andy did a great job keeping us all entertained,
the hotel is situated about 15/20 mins walk from the bay of san antonio which is easily walkable along one straight road,it was quiet at night because of this and we were never woken by people coming back from a night on the town
i would recomend this hotel for familys and couples wanting a good relaxing break with everything in one place,if you are a couple wanting all the clubs then this hotel might be a little out of the way but a taxi would cost 10 euros from the hotel to san antonio
overall was very impressed with the seaview and would definatley go back

Brilliant holiday, money well spent....

Brilliant holiday, money well spent. Entertainment all day and night. Kids loved it and we did too. Will be going back again for the third time. Adults can relax as kids having so much fun. Cant rate it high enough. Its in a secure area with beach about 100 yards away, regular bus to take you into San Antonio Bay or a 20 min walk. Food at pool bar is good, bit expensive but no more than the rest of Spain. Suitable for kids of all ages. LOVED IT.

just got back from the seaview after been moved to this hotel only the day before we traveled because our hotel we originaly booked had changed hands from sierens, im so glad we was moved, i really enjoyed it i thought the entertainment was fantastic, my daughter loved it and me n my partner could enjoy our time together.
everything about seaview was lovely and will be booking my holiday to go there next year, only thing i would say is look after your children when in the pool as my daughter went in too deap and we had to jump in to get her, and on another occation the same happened with a boy, the life guards were oblivious to this as they were to busy topping up there tan rather tan watching what was going on.

We have just got back from a weeks...

Sep 2008, Miss T Armstrong

We have just got back from a weeks holiday in Port Des Torrent, Ibiza and stayed in the Sea View Sirenis Country Club hotel. It was excellent.
Port Des Torrent itself was a small and relaxed resort with just a few bars and restaurants however, it was only a 20 minute (max) walk into San Antonio Bay where there was a lot more going on. You could also catch a bus which left the hotel every hour and it only took 30 minutes to go into San Antonio Town which was where all the major night life was i.e. all the clubs.
The hotel itself was very clean and tidy, there was a maid service every day. It had a restaurant however, we did not get chance to eat in this. There were two pool side bars, the main one was great for drinks and lunch time snacks i.e. burgers and chips and things. The pool was fantastic, staff friendly and helpfull. The hotel was perfect for all ages, we are a young couple and enjoyed it, there was also many families there. There was entertainment by the pool day and night, great for the kids and also adults. We watched a group of acrobats from Bejing on stage one evening, parott and owl shows, quizes, dancers and singers and loads more.
The beach is literally round the corner from the hotel, small and quiet with a few bars on the beach front. Sun beds were priced at 6e for the full day. The actual sea bed was quite rocky but the water was clear. Plenty of water sports availible.
We were expecting Ibiza to be expensive but it wasnt too bad. The bus into town was 1.45 euro, on average two alcoholic drinks were 7 euro's and a meal usually set you back about 12 euro unless you went to an expensive restaurant - watch the drink prices in these places!! Bully's Bar is right on the beach and great for breakfast and pizza's. If you like chinease food you must go to the Slow Boat in the bay (just on the right as you are walking down).
All in all, we had no complaints and would recommend and go back.

just got back from a week at sirenis seaview. i thought it was a fantastic place, really value for money.
staff on reception were very pleasant and hard working. we arrived early in the morning and were greeted with smiles where normally u get a grunt at that time in the morning! hotel is very big and also very clean with lots of facilities.
rooms very spacious with nice big balcony. kitchenette small but it had a 2 stove hob, kettle toaster and microwave in. maids came to clean and change towells everyday.
pool area really big with loads of sunbeds, was really easy to get a bed anytime of the day. pool itself was really large and nice and warm.
beach is about a minute walk outside the hotel which is a really pretty beach with about 4 restaurants and cafes on it at very reasonable prices. there is a water taxi that takes u too san antonio for 6 euro return which is a nicer and cheaper way than a car taxi. also outside the hotel u can get a bus for 1.45 euro s each way which run on the hour untill 12 midnight.
overall a very good holiday and will definately go back next year.
DONT be put off by the negative reveiws as they really are not true!

We went here as a party of 13 family. We were made very welcome, and the Kidsworld clubs were excellent for the children. All tastes and abilities are catered for. An excellent choice for all the family.
The entertainment team cater for all and we found them friendly and they could not do enough for the guests at the hotel. They get to know everyone that they come into contact with and put themselves out to find out what the people want and adapt theior entertainment to suit everyone. The shows were good entertainment for all the family and of a good variety.
This hotel is friendly, well managed and cares about the welfare and entertainment of all guests that stay there. The management also get to know what their guests want and will provide it if it is at all possible.
It is very clean, safe. secure and friendly. We are already booking for next year.

Just returned from a week at The...

Sep 2008, Mrs  C

Just returned from a week at The Sirenis and really disappointed. NO WAY is this a 4 star hotel!
Good points:
spacious and clean rooms, lovely sea view, nice pool /reception area and friendly staff. It is kept very clean by the hardworking staff.
Bad points:
LOCATION- too isolated for my liking. A good 20min walk to any restaurants, shops or bars.
ROOMS- very basic with a very small kitchen area. We had a problem with ants in both of our rooms( we changed rooms because initially we were put in one overlooking the stage, where the so called 'entertainment' takes place, which was incredibly noisy until well after midnight)
FOOD- We were half board and were disappointed with the quality of the food, although there was a wide variety. All the meat was very stringy and not very pleasant. The pizza, chips, garlic bread and veg were always cold. The pastries were nice. salad bar was fine but puddings were a bit odd! We ended up eating out quite a few nights. Drinks are also quite expensive here. Lots of noisy kids running around.
ENTERTAINMENT- Amateurish to say the least, although the kids seemed to enjoy it. Very much geared to Brits abroad, what i imagine Benidorm to be like- nothing traditionally spanish. Some of the 'singers' were really poor it was quite cringeworthy!
Needless to say i would not go back to this resort or this hotel again. I would not recommend it people who dont have children!

We just got back from the Sirenis,...

We just got back from the Sirenis, last week. This is the first time we have been there. There are very mixed reviews posted, but unfortunately I have to side with the not very impressed brigade. The staff at the hotel were fantastic to us. Hiba, at reception was our favourite and we have exchanged email addresses. Hilario, the restaurant manager was also good. However I agree with those who have said there are too many boisterous kids whose parents don't care what they are up to. We have 2 ourselves, who are 7 and 5, but they were always with us. The entertainement is not our thing and never stayed there to listen to them, although the walk through the hotel was enough for us to make up our minds. Listening to them you would not believe we were away from Britain. Why wasn't there any local people on the entertainement team. Also the noise at 3am, 4am and 5am in the morning drove me mad and could have throttle someones child, who didn't know how to shut the doors properly and thought it was hilarious to press the bells.
We will not be visiting this hotel again, but would visit the Island, but as far away from San Antonio, as possible. I need to feel I am in the country I have visited.
Sorry for the moan but there you go.
