I stayed here for a couple of nights on business. It's fine, good location but a bit anonymous.
Handy for getting around the area although it's really busy trying to get on the motorway in the morning. The rooms are standard Holiday Inn design. Nothing exciting, but clean and well equipped. The pool and gym facilities are excellent.
I wasn't paying for the food personally, thank goodness, as it was of mediocre quality and above average price. A decent hotel, but only as a stopover or on business.

This hotel is a perfect stop off if you have a long journey south to north or vice-versa, as it’s just off the M6. The hotel is nicely decorated helpful and friendly staff, a well equipped restaurant, and the rooms are decorated in a modern style and are very clean.
There is plenty of secure parking just in front of the hotel, with restriction limited to guests only via a code operated parking barrier.
Another plus is an indoor pool and Jacuzzi.

A large hotel which from outside looks like a home base store! And wandering around the corridors is a bit mindboggling, but the Executive suite rooms were clean, fairly spacious with bathrobes, minibar and complimentary water and kitkats!
The staff were friendly, pillows were delivered to order and when we mentioned a light wasn't working it was fixed by the time we returned.
Breakfast was a bit unorganised and understaffed - possibly because it was a holiday weekend, but small things like bread and eggs ran out and it took a long time to replace - while they defrosted the loaf!
Gym and pool were good and well worth a visit. A good base for the NEC and west midlands if you want somewhere quick, cheap and fairly reliable.
