Holiday Inn Express Castle Bromwich Hotel

Stayed one night prior to a flight to Jamaica. Check in was very fast and friendly. Our room overlooked the road at the back of the property and was a little noisy at rush hour. The room was very nice and more than adequate for what we wanted. The shower was perfect with plenty of fresh clean towels. Breakfast next morning was continental and although i like a cooked breakfast we found it great and got toast cereals jams muffins bread rolls cheeses yoghurts tea coffee and juices. There were free morning papers for us to read. Transfers to and from the airport are done with a local taxi firm and is included in the rate we paid. Transfers both ways were quick and without problems. The total price for this was £89 including 15 days parking so we feel we got excellent value and will not hesitate to use this hotel should it arise in the future. A big tip for anyone is the restaurant next door we had our evening meal the night before there, its called The fort jester which offers 2 for 1 meals so is excellent value for food and drinks are well priced.

we chose this hotel for its location and price. the room was very clean, staff friendly ,we found the room lovely just wot we needede. the continental breakfast was all we wanted and we found it had a varied choice. we will be glad to recomend it .

No problem with adverse feedback on noise from traffic or aircraft .Also A/C in room worked ok , Complimentary Taxi to airport was excellent , onsite parking is ideal much easier Room is small but value for money for 15 days free parking, bathroom good size and well planned. Reception team very helpful

The hotel is clean and tidy, breakfast is good unfortunatly the rooms /beds sleeping arrangements for the kids are terrible. Our daughter is 11 years old and had to share a small sofa bed with her brother who is 8 this does not work. We had to drive to the 24hr asda to purchase a air bed and pump as the hotel could not offer us a bed to seperate them,they dont sleep together at home!!. Do not get in to a taxi mini bus it must be a car, not a estate car or your airport run will be expensive, cars are free but £1 entry into airport chargeable.

My Husband and I stayed over for a Concert . They give us a clean room though it could have done with some redecoration. The Shower room was nice and clean. I can say nothing better than that unfortunately. Bad points were that it did not have any air conditioning in the room and it was sooo Noisy even with windows closed you could hear the motorway. They should have invested in some Triple glazing as it needs it very badly. Also again I must add the room was so stuffy and hot that we had to leave the window open all night for some air so the motorway was in full sound. We had a truly terrrible night sleep and could not wait to go home the next day. So much so that we left at 5.30 am in the morning. I would absolutely not stay here again.

i stayed here a little over a year ago, on a visit to Brum and the west mids, and i found it to be a very clean, modern and pleasant hotel. the continental breakfast included with the rate is very generous. the proximity to brum is great, especially if you don't feel the need to be right in the city centre. it's only 5 miles away and can save you a bundle over city centre hotels. i'm going back there in a few weeks time and will send an updated review.
