Had another great stay in Sweet Memories.
We come here quite often now, and it is nice to see the staff when returning. The staff are all friendly and helpful, especially the reception staff and the bar staff Adrian and Lisa.
Drag Queens are back again this year. Don’t miss them and they do a great barbeque.
Thoroughly recommend diving with Poseidon diving school in Penera which is not far from the hotel, they are great friendly experienced staff of all ages who really make you feel relaxed. This is not the diving school next to the hotel.
Am going back again in September!

Have just come back from a wonderful 10 days stay at the Sweet Memories apartments.
We have had many holidays in Protaras over the last 6 years and this has been the best so far. The main road through can be very busy and noisy at night, so Sweet Memories is an ideal location near to beach and nearby has excellent bars and restaurants. Really recommend the Malmia bar.
The apartment bar is run by a lovely English couple called Adrian and Lisa who were delightful and very generous. They introduced us to a homemade drink made from mars bars and vodka, bloomin' lovely!!
My only gripe is with the pool area. It is not big enough for the amount of sunloungers they have around it. The apartment we had was clean and had everything you need for a self catering holiday. We will be back.

What can I say, fantastic holiday! I and my partner have been all over the med and this holiday really was one of the best!
The rooms although basic were clean and rather big which was a surprise. The Hotel is only a 10 mins walk to the beach and about 15 mins to the lovely fig tree bay, visiting this bay is a must.
All the Staff are great, they really look after you especially Adrian and Lisa who run the bar at night, these 2 had us laughing all night along with the ex pats, the 2 Billy’s. (you’ll see when you go).
All in all top hotel great prices lovely food and a cheap holiday, what more do you want?
Get a car and look at Limassol, Paphos, Larnaca ect you will not be disappointed, oh and listen to the locals... :)

Just back from 2 weeks in Sweet Memories and boy have I got Sweet Memories of my stay there.
I was there with a pal and we had a brill time. Staff very friendly and helpful, especially Angela during the day who served us nearly every day with full English breakfast! Great value at £2cyp.
Maid service very good. We had a studio apt; it was ideal, spacious with a balcony overlooking the pool area.
The night watchman was very friendly and helpful. I think we were in last most nights!
The local ex-pats all live nearby and we made friends with all of them. Say Hi to Cockney Billy and Irish Billy as we nicknamed them.
As the season was only beginning we made friends with many of the locals who were all so friendly. I am only back 10 days but I wish I was back there!!
I was asked to stay and work in a local bar and I was very tempted. There is a happy hour at Sweet Memories which lasts for 3 hours 9pm-midnight every night except Saturday and local drinks are £1cyp. Great value!
The beaches are a short walk away and there is some stunning walks. Ayia Napa is only about 15 mins by bus and is worth a look. We went on the trip to Troodos mountains and had a lovely day.
Early start, mind you but really enjoyed the day.
All in all, loved the place and can't wait to go back again.

Had the best time staying at the Sweet Memories Apartments in Protaras. Paid very little for the holiday through Olympic.
Our rep was so helpful but didn’t oush the trips down your neck like they usually do!
Apartments are really clean, staff are so friendly and has the best bar serving great food and staff are a real laugh!
Was a little quiet because we went in April but only a taxi ride to Ayia Napa if you want a lively night!

Just came back from sweet memories to a excellent 2 weeks. Went on the 25th June and came back on the 9th July. 10 of us in our party. 4 adults and 6 children.
Our room was the 2 bedroom apartment and was excellent, a huge balcony which was great for when it got too hot by the pool we could sit in the shade overlooking the pool. The room was cleaned, sheets and towels changed regularly. Basic but just what we needed.
The staff are all very friendly and would help you with anything. My niece got burnt and the lady on reception went across the road to the shop to buy yogurt to put on her shoulders. Very helpful. The night man was lovely. Didn't speak much English but was lovely and always smiled and waved.
Onsite facilities were great. Pool table, air hockey, mini cinema, PS2 and internet. Food was excellent and drinks cheap at £1.50cy a pint and a £1.00cy at happy hour. The mini-supermarket was very reasonable.
Haven't been home a week yet and very depressed and wish i was still there. Already been to Travel Agents to book again for next year but our room was gone. So would definite recommend.

Went to Cyprus for the first time this year, there where 8 of us all together, and when we arrived at 8 in the morning we where pleasantly surprised to have rooms next to each other (over looking the pool).
Sweet memories is a very nice complex, the rooms are spacious and light, and the beds are comfortable too!
Lisa and Adrian who works on the bar on a night is a really sweet couple. Adrian made us laugh on many occasion with his sarcasm :)
When we first arrived we had no idea how to get to the beach, you can see it but we didn’t know how to get to it. As it turned out if you walk left out of the apartments the centre of town is about 10 mins away depending on walking speed.
Night life is great. Picks up on a sat/sun night and the main street has so many bars and places to eat to choose from. We found a little cocktail bar called B52s that did cocktails and pints for only £1 all day and night. Think we went through the menu by the end of 2 weeks.
We went 28th June to 12th July, the first week was really nice weather, and could sunbathe and swim around the pool, however the end of the second week the temperature began to soar to unbelievable levels. At one point you could even get off the sunbed to walk to the pool, the floor was so hot.
We made lots of friends at sweet memories and there really was group atmosphere, the same people would be around the pool everyday, playing and swimming. It was very strange when they all left on the Sunday and left us. (Sunday and Wed are big change over days).
Recommend hiring a car, we drove to Paphos one day and to Famagusta the next, the roads are the same as England and the cars are right sided, so very easy and not frightening to drive over there at all.
My one biggest tip I would give if you are going to Cyprus would be to get Mosquito spray and creams, because on a night it get very hot if you don’t pay for air con, and if you leave your doors open, the little things have a feast!! So Mosquito repellent is the key!
Over all had a very very very good holiday at sweet memories, got back yesterday and I am already missing it greatly. The people, the place, everything is fab

Had another great holiday at sweet memories. Not far from the beach, unfortunately Shaun and Claire have gone, which is a shame as they were warm and friendly.
They have added entertainment this year a DJ/entertainment person, who also runs the karaoke. He ensures everyone has a good time. They have a visiting drag act once a week quite late at night and can’t remember the last time I laughed so much.
Lots of scuba diving to be done in the area I fully recommend Poseidon diving school in local penera. Ha ha enjoyed it so much I have booked to go back two weeks later!
Fully recommended.

I was very impressed by Sweet memory’s performance. It is in an ideal location, right next to the beach, and it has its own pool in the centre of the apartments. The food and drinks service was excellent, also there was a gaming and home cinema right next to the bar area, with two computers and a Playstation two. There are also a few gaming features next to the bar, but I do not know their names.
Under cover of a small roof, there is a snooker table which we enjoyed many a night having games against the bar tender (Sean?). I am not sure of his name, he worked with Claire, was Irish and had short hair. But anyway, he was very friendly, and helpful in showing me the flaws of my snookering technique.
I went to the nearby beach and rented out a small pedal boat with two chums, but we were left stranded for an hr and a half when the owner failed to see us waving frantically at him for help as we drifted into the med. but that’s another story.

We first visited Sweet Memories in August 2004 for our first wedding anniversary, the reception from all staff was excellent, the rooms lovely and clean, and the food parcel in our room was a great idea.
Claire, who works behind the bar was especially welcoming and coming from our part of the country in England made us feel at home we had some great nights out with Claire and her hubby Shaun (nutcracker). It was a good to see them on our return journey August 2005, both of them running the bar, the welcome we got off both of them was ecstatic 2nd time round.
Craig Elvis was brill, the best place to eat was Broadway Cafe, just behind the local hospital, Chris who runs it is warm and friendly and makes great steak, the price is right too.
In the new square a guy called Chris sings, play acoustic guitar, he is excellent, we ate a meal whilst watching Chris sing, it was so relaxing, and romantic, we danced on stage whilst he sang Lady in Red, a beautiful rendition (even if you dislike the song). We hope he has learnt the words to Vincent when we come back in August this year.
Kosmas (hope that is spelt right) the night door man was a lovely man, very kind he recognised us from our previous visit.
All in all we recommend Sweet Memories for giving us Sweet Memories and we cant wait to see Claire, Shaun and the gang this year.

Just come back from Cyprus after our honeymoon.
We had two great weeks at sweet mems.
Well run apartments if a little basic but to be fair that’s all you need there. All the staff were very helpful and were more than happy to help me with my Greek.
Arrived in the evening to find that the hotel provide a small amount of food/drink to start you off.. If you don’t want it just hand it back.
But the water and beer comes in very handy :->
Lots of places to eat..
Ellias taverna up the road to paralimini very good.
De sonia in town very bad food.
And I fully recommend Nico's. Romeo's open garden taverna and the slightly bizarre Brazillian/Italian restaurant.
It is very built up now and there are probably far too many Elvis' but its a good place to go.
Also go on the 12 people motor cruise (through Libra)
And go to return of the king bar for good cocktails
Go you'll enjoy it.

We found Sweet Memories lovely. The rooms are clean comfortable and very spacious.
Most of the staff were pleasant and helpful, especially Lisa and Adrian who run the bar and entertainment, they were a good laugh, we thought the happy hour was good it lasted from 9 till midnight.
The food was really good at a reasonable price, Angela was lovely, but she had her work cut out with her assistant, the night porter smiled a lot but couldn’t speak a lot of English.
The bars and restaurants locally are nice especially Anatolia just down the road, the staff were really friendly, and the food was good and cheap.
Fig tree bay was lovely about a fifteen min walk along main strip or 80p on the bus.
We really enjoyed our stay and hopefully return soon.
