Excellent hotel cant fault it, upgraded to half board and it was well worth it with a huge variety of food to choose from.
Special mention to Shaun and Claire behind the bar who keep a smile on the customers faces.

fantastic holiday booked at the last minute. Upgraded to half board at additional cost on arrival as the food was great and the menu varied and very reasonable. still early in the season so many bars not yet open but still plenty to do and see and with shaun and claire behind the bar in the evenings we didn't need to go any further,they are a delightful couple who kept us entertained all week.barbeque night with "ELVIS" is not to be missed. rooms are basic but clean and well furnished. we will definately be back.

Been going there for the past 9 years and have not had a bad one yet. Stuart and Emma left and the bar went flat (as far as we were concerned) so to hear shaun and claire are back is a boost cos were off there again in June. Super S brill, Malmia's bar just along the road great. Can'nt wait. Sweet Memories although on a main road the traffic noise was not bad. It's only a short walk to the beaches and the centre of Protaras. Local bus stop across the road and one next to the apartments for Aye Napa ect.

jus back from sweet memories for the second time, we had a great time here in 2005 and were a little concerned it wouldnt be as good but we had no need to worry. this place is so relaxing its unreal. the staff are really friendly and helpful always smiling. an added bonus for us was the return of shaun and claire in the bar, great people and good fun to be around. as we went early april it was very quiet but the people who were there were good company and we met some nice people, the apartments are large and the complex well laid out, the food is good and reasonably priced though the dreaded euro has pushed prices up a bit all over. other good places to eat are super s just down the road, very relaxing, and shenanigans a bit further on the opposite side. all in all i would recommend this resort and without doubt sweet memories

Came back in June 2005 from a 1 week break at the Sweet Memories and had a fab time. Love Cyprus anyway but the Sweet Memories were great the staff were helpful etc etc. There were 6 of us in 2 apartments. My daughter was 15 at the time and loved it so much she is going back with her mate next June/July 08. We are going to Cyprus too but trying another hotel 5 mins away. Rushed into getting a holiday wish I had hung off till the Sweet Memories were up with Olympic.
I love Cyprus so much I want to move there when I leave uni but hubby and daughter not to happy bout that. Arm twisting at the ready. Anyway must get working on next holiday.

This was our first time in Cyprus, we were told Sweet Memories was basic, and as we usually stay in 4* hotels we were a bit dubious. We were very pleasantly surprised when we arrived, the rooms are very spacious and clean. The staff were excellent, especially Angela who runs the bar during the day with her helper?? young Stefan. Angie's husband came in some lunch times and gave us directions to the best viewpoint to see Farmagusta [the ghost town]. That was a moving experience, we spoke to a lady who was a child when the invasion happened and she told us her moving story.
The Monday night bingo and quiz is run by TANGO MAN from the pop advert, he is really fun, and Friday b.b.q and drag show are not to be missed. Adrian and Lisa the bar staff on a night are nice people, they announced their forthcoming baby while we were there, so good luck to them.
Protaras itself has lots of bars and if you like Elvis you'll see loads of different ones in the bars go to see the Boy george impersonator he is really good.
Going back in June 08 see you then.

Have just arrived back from Sweet Memories, depressed already. It was our first time in Cyprus, but it won't be our last we had a great time. The staff at Sweet Memories are all great, from reception to the cleaners. We came back Thursday morning by Thursday afternoon we were booking a return trip. Louise and Ang were behind the bar in the day and Lisa and Adrian at night, they all made our stay enjoyable, can't wait to go and see them again.
The apartments were clean and very spacious, the only thing I would change is that you only get clean towels twice a week, but if you ask they will give you clean ones. The food is very nice and cheap (FULL ENGLISH BREAKFAST WITH TEA, COFFEE OR JUICE JUST £2).

Been back from Cyprus just over a week and its horrible, it was my first holiday abroad without my parents and I had a great time. I am 19 and went with my boyfriend, the rooms are basic but clean and more than suitable for us, although the hob took ages to cook anything! But the hotel food is delicious and really cheap, the bar staff are great... especially the morning staff! The night watchman is a legend too! really sweet guy!
The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the main strip that's really family friendly and 10 mins walk from the beach max (which is beautiful) highly recommend this hotel and Cyprus. The Troodos mountain safari its loads of fun an absolute must do a true taste of Cypriot life! Our Libra rep wasn't much use, you get better advice from the bar staff.
The hotel is about 10 mins in a cab from Ayia Napa and about £10 Cypriot really recommend that too... its not too mad if you stay away from the square (which is where all the fun and madness happens!).
But seriously an amazing holiday would do anything to be there now.....
Oh and the drag show is hilarious and the bbq that comes with it is fab!

Stayed in Sweet Memories in 2002 and really enjoyed it. Went back in August 2007 and they have gone down hill.
The actual apartments were clean but the pool area wasn't the best. The sun beds need replacing and the bar area where the pool table is was disgusting.
Our flush had broken and it took them 2 days to fix it, whilst broken we had to use the downstairs public toilets which stunk and they were all blocked.
Also when arrived there were beers and coke in the fridge and a bag full of stuff. They put the invoice with the costs of these things at the bottom of the bag. We then took the stuff back what we didn't want and they charges us something stupid like 20cy for a few cans, what a con!!!
The bloke behind reception was really unfriendly and everything seemed to be hassle to him. Grumpy old git!!
I wouldn't go back there again but Protaras is lovely and the beach and watersports were amazing.
The Libra Holiday reps were so unhelpful and unfriendly, worst i have come across. She never smiled and everything seemed to be a problem.

I returned from Cyprus on Monday (today’s Thursday) and already I wish I could go back.
We stayed in Protaras, which is close enough to Ayia Napa so you can visit if you really want to, however, I travelled with a group of teens/early 20's and we felt there were enough bars in Protaras to entertain us.
The Sweet Memories apartments were great. We went self catering and when we arrived the fridge and cupboards were fully stocked which was great since we arrived gone midnight and could not have shopped for essentials e.g. cold drinks at this late hour. All items do have to be paid for but anything you do not need may be returned.
Air con may seem a little pricey but well worth every penny.
Bar/restaurant run by welsh lady, Angela, during day and by English couple, Lisa and Adrian, during the night. All 3 were lovely - made us feel extremely welcome and really helpful. Happy hour in bar every night except sat from 9-12. Everything at hotel reasonably priced - cheaper than most places close by. Bingo on Mondays with quiz afterwards. BBQ Fridays followed by hilarious drag show and karaoke. Both great nights to stay in and have a laugh.
As a group we had a few rooms, one of which became over run with insects on one particularly hot day. However, we told the manager who speaks very good English and within a few hours he'd cleaned the entire apartment, sprayed everything, and removed all insects. From then on the manager checked our room was ok frequently and ALL of our rooms were cleaned on almost a daily basis, with the affected room being sprayed every time room cleaned. Insects never returned.
Apartments and all facilities very clean and plenty to do - games, computers, internet facilities for kids. Plenty of sun loungers which are cleaned every morning before pool opens. Mini mart in reception is reasonably priced and has everything you could need for self catering. Plenty of excursions can be booked from hotel reception - no need to go through holiday rep, which is usually more expensive. We went on two day trips and the hotel manager organised transport for both.
All in all a great holiday. We would definitely return to Cyprus and would definitely stay at sweet memories apartments again.
