The hotel was just so good it is hard to describe, central to all the sights of Honolulu and as the name suggests right on Waikiki beach, really clean and the staff could not have been more helpful, good eating at any of the bars and grills.
A location for either type of holiday maker, calm enough to just take in the rays or for the shopper an abundance of big name stores and if that is not enough the international market directly across the road.
For the more adventurism the Pacific Ocean surfing, sailing and whale watching.
Local excursions around the island were just a phone call away friendly operators and as you will find out everyone is your cousin.
I could not fail to recommend this location to anyone fortunate enough to get to Hawaii.
