Ohana Waikiki Village Hotel Reviews
" The Ohana hotels are very nicely... "
Submitted By: Ms J Numan
The Ohana hotels are very nicely maintained and a real value when in the Wakiki area. They are family oriented with all connecting rooms which offer privacy.
There is plenty of parking and close to all the attractions in Waikiki. Their hotels are very clean and centrally located. The parking is expensive at $15 per day. The posted rack rates are very high, but you can get any visitor magazine and book at 1/3 of the normal rate by calling one of the last minute hotel reservation places in the ads.
General Comments:
The Ohana hotels, Ohana Islander Waikiki are very nicely maintained and a real value when in the Waikiki area. They are family oriented resorts with all connecting rooms which offer privacy. There is plenty of parking and close to all the attractions and within walking distance to all of the major attractions and shopping areas in Waikiki.
Fast food take out and Starbucks is available in the lower lobby. A lobby bar is adjacent to the hotel's outdoor swimming pool.
Ohana is the fastest growing resort chain in the South Pacific. They are family owned and they really take pride in their resorts, which is obvious in the way they maintain them.

It has many good points. We stayed on the 40th floor, which gave us an amazing view.
The beach was only 5 minutes of walking distance, so it wasn't so bad. Location was good, located on the street with the luxurious shops.
The small wasn't amazingly big, but good enough. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
Few bad points, we had to use our swipe cards to get the lift moving. Most of the times it wouldn't work! So i took a lift with other people, but they would go to different floors and never stop on mine.
Also, there was no breakfast provided and that's something I need. the hotel had a bar on the 3rd floor and there were many restaurants around the hotel.
Hotel also had a small travel agency, where we could book our tour. I have to say that Hawaii is quite expensive. We wanted to do all the possible watersports, so we ended up paying around $400 for the activities for 3 days.
