Honolulu and Waikiki in particularly, is paradise on earth. Turquoise sea, blue skies, great food and the friendliest people on the planet contribute to make this an idyllic holiday.
We were there for two weeks and we saw so much -the Polynesian Cultural Centre, a tour of the island incorporating the Byodo Temple, a visit to the Arizona which is a very humbling and emotional experience and in contrast a visit to the Dole Pineapple Farm and the experience of a lifetime being 120 feet under the Pacific in a submarine.
But there was so much more we wanted to see and do that we will return to continue our journey in paradise.

All rooms are extremely clean and roomy, we had a room with a king sized bed and a pull out double sofa bed which our son used, both were very comfy .
We have just returned two days ago after being there for our son,s wedding on Waikiki Beach and we were impressed with everything
We had breakfast in the hotel , there was a choice of 2 places to have breakfast in the hotel and both were very good, we couldnt fault the food
We flew out from Heathrow with Virgin and the staff on the plane were the most helpful that we have ever had on any flight
When we got back to Heathrow our suitcases were missing but Virgin sorted it out withour any fuss and by the next day our cases were delivered intact to our home
We would recommend both the hotel and Virgin to anyone
