Stayed at the Kayamaris Hotel from 6th Oct- 13th Oct 2011. Room was very comfortable, security safe in room free of charge. Only one channell on TV was the news that spoke english. Food was terrible, one small toaster for all the guests!! Not enough room in the dining room... more

Just got back from lovely marmaris. What a niice holiday we had. The hotel is just by the beach, 2 minutes from the hotel. Nice and clean pool . Small pool bar with very friendly staff. The food was ok.Do not expect 5 star food as its not 5 star and not as many tourists as big hotels. The best thing in the Hotel was the MASSAGE we had from the lovely couple. They are very fabulous. We were origianly booked into the Nergis select but when our tour oporator went bust we had to rebook and rebooked in to the kayamaris hotel, which after reading some of these reviews we we're woundering what we had let our selves infor, But when we arrived we had to rub our eyes cause from the outside the hotel looked great, there was even a nice turkish lad waitning at the door ready to take our cases for us. It weren't that bad! Its not four star though! You wont starve as there's plenty of salad to eat. You'll find fish & chicken on the menu aswell. On arrival they put the misses & I in a box room for the week!!! Just dont leave it too long to complain because you might miss out on the sea view, which the tour operater promised! We booked our holiday and then read the reviews so we were very nervous about what we had let ourselves in for but we were more than pleasantly surprised. The staff were so friendly and bent over backwards to help in anyway they could. We have a 6 year old and they all made such a fuss of him. We had trouble contacting our transfer operator and the reception staff spent an afternoon repeatedly calling them for us. On arrival we were so disappointed I didn't want to unpack. The room was squalid, small, shabby, one small single wardrobe (for 2 of us for 2 weeks!), fridge that was barely cold and the wooden exterior cupboard door always seemed to fall open, dirty carpet, tired bathroom, tatty bath/shower/ceiling. I STAYED AT THE KARAMARIS LAST WEEK. I would have to agrre with everyone else theere is no way that it is a 4 star. My week was not to bad it was not the worst hotel in the world. The food is edible, breakfast i found was not worth getting up for. I only cam across my problam on my last day, i started to pack and left my return flight ticket on my bedside table. Me, my wife and our 6 year old daughter stayed at the Kayamaris for 7 nights , all inclusive from august 4th 2007. We booked this holiday through Thomas Cook but were told that the opperator was Cosmos. When we arrived at the hotel there did not appear to be any sign of any information (i.e. tour info) from a Cosmos representative or a Thomas Cook rep whatsoever! There is a reason why this hotel is not in the UK brochures!!!!! I was dissappointed!! - thats the only way to describe it! The location of the hotel is ideal for the "beach" (Ill come back to that!).
