" We arrived in Berlin at 10pm at... "

We arrived in Berlin at 10pm at night. After checking all the hotels we came to none had a room. We should have booked before we went. We came across this quaint little hotel on yet another street. Right from the start we found it to be welcoming and friendly, with a character that would welcome all.

We were put on the top floor. They have a lift. The bedroom was clean and the bed linen fresh. The rooms are very basic and there are shared bathrooms a long the landing. If you think of what a 1950's style decor would be then this hotel matches it exactly. Look past the basic ness of it all and enjoy the homeliness of it. We were to stay only one night. That night turned into four nights and we are going back this Oct. This is the real Germany.
