We have just returned from this hotel. The location is beautiful. Although it is a trek from the Airport. The staff are friendly and willing to help. We met some lovely people from all areas. We made great friends with Barry and Ian, although we forgot to exchange numbers, we may seek them out one day in Halifax. The rooms were clean, the maids were lovely. The bar staff were great, the Animation team were also great. We had a wonderful time at this hotel for our silver wedding and the views were out of this world. I would definately recommend to friends. The only hiccup was that it was early in the season and not all amenities were open. The food was nice however it could have been hotter, it was only ever warm.Overall we had a lovely time, late nights and laughs.

Ignore all negative comments about this hotel. Myself and my partner were due to stay at the marmaris palace and on arrival we were informed that we did not have a reservation and were going to be moved to the marmaris resort.
This was a fantastic week. Yes it was in hte middle of nowhere but there was an hourly bus running very late into and from marmaris that only cost 5ytl per person. The hotel was a welcome change after the stress of the town. The food had a wide variety, with small gaps in time in between. And if that didnt fill you up, there was the offer of midnight soup which we returned to one night after going into town. All enjoyable. I wasnt expecting to go to turkey and have english food but the hotel catered for all tastes and was fresh. Our room was fantastic. Always clean, spacious and comfortable. The view was sensational. There were a number of different pools to choose from if not sitting beside the private beach or carrying out the activities. The activities were fantastic. Didnt have time to carry out them all. Enjoyed the bowling and the slides. The staff were all friendly and made an effort to make your stay enjoyable. The entertainment had me laughing. The massage was the most relaxing thing I have ever experienced in my life. And to top it all off there were free cocktails. This was an A* holiday and couldnt have a bad word against this hotel. After a bad day in marmaris, they made our return so relaxing and enjoyable that I forgot my problems of the day. For a large hotel (and It is a large hotel), there was the personal touch that made this holiday so special. I will definately be returning. Just think that some people should realise that they are going to Turkey and are not in Britain.

Resort itself was nice with some amazing views, However not a 5* thomas cook4*, more like a 3*, All inclusive was what we expected, there was no ice cream available for the children, and meals were at set times, not good when children are hungry especially when its 5 or 6 tl for a packet of crisps or an ice lolly, in the resort shop. The food did not cater for english, unless you like pizza and chips you would have to do with dried bread, dried bread and soup was served for supper every night. The soup was like water. The hotel was a 20 minute drive from Marmaris, and cost 80 tl return so was not cheap for a decent meal. The (room) were do i start? . The first room we got put in was an absolute flea pit, and since we arrived in the middle of the night, we thought we may have been put in the wrong hotel. After complaining all the next day we eventually got moved. The replacement room was a lot better all tiled floors and no scruffy sticky carpets. However the bathroom was disgustingly dirty, and the air con was not the best. Health and safety haha, my daughter fell down wet stairs twice, which had been mopped, with no warning signs put out still no response after complaining. There was plug sockets hanging off the wall, and to top it off we had mice running around the room. Our travel agent of course painted a very different picture, a formal complaint a must

Hotel, staff, scenery, food all excellent. Very clean and spacious grounds. trip to marmaris on the dolmus costs 5 tl takes 30 mins runs every hour and well worth a visit. Last bus home at 11pm. the hotel is right on the beach with watersports available , some free (canoes and pedaloes).
great selection of food with plenty of choice for lunch and dinner, all freshly cooked. you just need to have a good look first before you decide what to have, all the usual salads plus fresh veg(broccolli, cauli, carrots ,peas various potatoes as well). the hotel also has its own veg garden.
would i go back? there were 4 of us 2 adults 2 kids 12 and 10. we went for 1 week. Day 1, we flew at 11am and arrived at the hotel at 10pm. the co-op told us it was a 1 hour transfer time, it took 5 hours. Tip- get a taxi for £65 ,well worth it. the meal was over so we had to wait for midnight snack which was ok- soup ,pasta. there was no meal option on the flight, something i did not even consider when booking and it was not pointed out to me either.Day 2, we had a lovely day , then on day 3 trouble hit- my son and husband developed sickness and diarrhoea. my 10yr old was ill for the whole of the holiday and it was touch and go if he could fly home or not. we had to see the Dr 4 times and pay the bill in cash (£250). the hotel only took travellers cheques , the only facility for debit/credit card withdrawals was in marmaris . he was ill for a further week at home. our holiday was ruined and i thougt he would die. the cause? maybe the bottled water. quite often at the table the bottles were not sealed.

This hotel is in a beautiful location, the views are spectacular. The rooms were comfortable and clean not five star but suited our needs. We found the bar staff friendly if you made the effort to speak to them even if you had to use sign language and pointing and a smile. The only real negative was the food, I felt it was geared for the Russian palate not a problem in itself, but the food was not kept warm enough and that was my biggest gripe. However that did not spoil what was a lovely holiday. I f they could sort out the food I would go back. Plenty sunbeds, lovely pools, stunning views just great.

WOULD NEVER GO AGAIN
the staff just looked at you like you were nothing the place was full of russians and germans the food was the same each day and all you got was people just pushing you out of the line so that they could push in there was no food suitable for kids. the hotel was a really nice place but the rooms were tiny even for two people.
the thomas cook rep was not helpful at all, the questions we asked were not answered and she only came on one day per week and we were not even told what time we would be picked up from the hotel and in the end we had to call the office ourself.
i would not give this hotel 4 stars i would give a 2 star. We went all inclusive thinking that if we got hungry during the day then we could go and get a snack but none of this was the case all we got was breakfast at 7-9 and then lunch 12 - 2 and dinner 7:30 - 9. you have to pay for any ice creams that you want as these are not included in the all inclusive.
the entertainment was good though and there was always something going on in the hotel for people to join in on but it was just the hotel staff that let them down the way they talk to you is just not acceptable.

Fantastic Hotel, clean, very good quality rooms with daily maid service, staff very polite and helpful, food exellent and a great variety. Unfortunatley the air conditioning was centrally controlled and did not get below 25 degrees at night, far too hot to sleep. During the middle of the afternoon it did get at one point to 24 degrees!. Many customers were complaining but that was the best cooling temperature that they could achieve with that system. Also the Hotel is situated about 30 minutes from Marmaris the Hotel does provide a free bus service twice daily but only if 10 or more people wish to use it, with names in advance. Stopping at a local jewellers on route, who sponsors the bus. There were hardly any British people at this resort, mainly Russian and Eastern European, who were not only exceptionally rude to staff but pushed in at every opportunity at the bars and restaurants and spoilt many evenings. Apart from that we had a great time. But wouldnt go to Marmaris area again.

What a fantastic hotel! Rooms were basic but very clean with towels changed daily. Breakfast was great, massive selection of fruits, yoghurts, cereal, toast, croissants, coffee, tea orange juice etc.
If alcohol is your thing, you can drink most lagers and spirits from 9am throughout the day.
Lunch was good, with a selection of 3 main meals but always fresh fruit and veg. Couldn't take to the desserts but still a good selection.
Evening meals were great with a selection of about 6 meals as well as a Taverna cooking marinated chicken, lamb and fresh food- this was the best meal!
Superb views of the mountains and the water was crystal clear.
Evening entertainment was fair and catered for all the nationalities.
Staff very friendly.
Would definitely visit again but since our first visit prices have shot up. Tour companies have realised this is a great hotel and put up their prices accordingly.
Marmaris resort is about 8 miles away but there is a bus stop on the road opposite the hotel and the bus prices are cheap. Beware of some taxi prices, ask the cost before you travel, some will rip you off. In the Marmaris resort be prepared to haggle for everything, the restaurants have loads of touts outside and they can be a bit annoying, tell them you've already eaten and they'll leave you alone until you reach the next one!
Overall a great holiday, superb hotel, would definitely go again.

Excellent hotel, with a great kids club and good nightlife. Staff very good and spoke very good English. Only concern was them trying to sell Turkish carpets all the time. Dont buy any thing from the hotel, walk about 1km down the road to a local shop that sells goods at a quarter of the price. And dont get the local bus if female best to either go on the hotel minibus or get a taxi.
The kids will love this place, but if you want a quiet holiday beware this resort is very loud and lively with lots of young people from Holland and Russia.
Overall a very good hotel.

The transfer from airport to hotel was long and winding, so would not recommend for anyone who is car sick. The hotel its self was in beautiful surroundings, but was in need of updating.
Hotel hygiene was an issue. I saw staff mopping reception with same mop from mens toilet. Birds were flying inside the restaurant and droppings were on chairs,so possibly in food too! Food choice poor and same food every night. The food was discusting, very greasy and the same bowl of salad appeared at every meal just getting less everytime.Only one restaurant open no outdoor snacks.
The bar ran out of drinks they said "end of season so no more".We paid full price as it was school half term so no excuse.
There was no entertainment at all so take a pack of cards!
The pool was freezing and scummy with algae on the bottom.
The water slides were shut half way through the week as the staff had been released.
I got food poisioning on day 3.Only all inclusive holiday that I have come home lighter than when I went.
Hubby enjoyed swimming in sea, with the fish and BARRACUDA! But wasps were a problem he got stung twice. So did alot of people.
We had never been to Turkey before and never will again, this experience has put us right off.
