Ignore all negative comments about this hotel. Myself and my partner were due to stay at the marmaris palace and on arrival we were informed that we did not have a reservation and were going to be moved to the marmaris resort.
This was a fantastic week. Yes it was in hte middle of nowhere but there was an hourly bus running very late into and from marmaris that only cost 5ytl per person. The hotel was a welcome change after the stress of the town. The food had a wide variety, with small gaps in time in between. And if that didnt fill you up, there was the offer of midnight soup which we returned to one night after going into town. All enjoyable. I wasnt expecting to go to turkey and have english food but the hotel catered for all tastes and was fresh. Our room was fantastic. Always clean, spacious and comfortable. The view was sensational. There were a number of different pools to choose from if not sitting beside the private beach or carrying out the activities. The activities were fantastic. Didnt have time to carry out them all. Enjoyed the bowling and the slides. The staff were all friendly and made an effort to make your stay enjoyable. The entertainment had me laughing. The massage was the most relaxing thing I have ever experienced in my life. And to top it all off there were free cocktails. This was an A* holiday and couldnt have a bad word against this hotel. After a bad day in marmaris, they made our return so relaxing and enjoyable that I forgot my problems of the day. For a large hotel (and It is a large hotel), there was the personal touch that made this holiday so special. I will definately be returning. Just think that some people should realise that they are going to Turkey and are not in Britain.

Resort itself was nice with some amazing views, However not a 5* thomas cook4*, more like a 3*, All inclusive was what we expected, there was no ice cream available for the children, and meals were at set times, not good when children are hungry especially when its 5 or 6 tl for a packet of crisps or an ice lolly, in the resort shop. The food did not cater for english, unless you like pizza and chips you would have to do with dried bread, dried bread and soup was served for supper every night. The soup was like water. The hotel was a 20 minute drive from Marmaris, and cost 80 tl return so was not cheap for a decent meal. The (room) were do i start? . The first room we got put in was an absolute flea pit, and since we arrived in the middle of the night, we thought we may have been put in the wrong hotel. After complaining all the next day we eventually got moved. The replacement room was a lot better all tiled floors and no scruffy sticky carpets. However the bathroom was disgustingly dirty, and the air con was not the best. Health and safety haha, my daughter fell down wet stairs twice, which had been mopped, with no warning signs put out still no response after complaining. There was plug sockets hanging off the wall, and to top it off we had mice running around the room. Our travel agent of course painted a very different picture, a formal complaint a must

Hotel, staff, scenery, food all excellent. Very clean and spacious grounds. trip to marmaris on the dolmus costs 5 tl takes 30 mins runs every hour and well worth a visit. Last bus home at 11pm. the hotel is right on the beach with watersports available , some free (canoes and pedaloes).
great selection of food with plenty of choice for lunch and dinner, all freshly cooked. you just need to have a good look first before you decide what to have, all the usual salads plus fresh veg(broccolli, cauli, carrots ,peas various potatoes as well). the hotel also has its own veg garden.
would i go back? there were 4 of us 2 adults 2 kids 12 and 10. we went for 1 week. Day 1, we flew at 11am and arrived at the hotel at 10pm. the co-op told us it was a 1 hour transfer time, it took 5 hours. Tip- get a taxi for £65 ,well worth it. the meal was over so we had to wait for midnight snack which was ok- soup ,pasta. there was no meal option on the flight, something i did not even consider when booking and it was not pointed out to me either.Day 2, we had a lovely day , then on day 3 trouble hit- my son and husband developed sickness and diarrhoea. my 10yr old was ill for the whole of the holiday and it was touch and go if he could fly home or not. we had to see the Dr 4 times and pay the bill in cash (£250). the hotel only took travellers cheques , the only facility for debit/credit card withdrawals was in marmaris . he was ill for a further week at home. our holiday was ruined and i thougt he would die. the cause? maybe the bottled water. quite often at the table the bottles were not sealed.

This hotel is in a beautiful location, the views are spectacular. The rooms were comfortable and clean not five star but suited our needs. We found the bar staff friendly if you made the effort to speak to them even if you had to use sign language and pointing and a smile. The only real negative was the food, I felt it was geared for the Russian palate not a problem in itself, but the food was not kept warm enough and that was my biggest gripe. However that did not spoil what was a lovely holiday. I f they could sort out the food I would go back. Plenty sunbeds, lovely pools, stunning views just great.

WOULD NEVER GO AGAIN
the staff just looked at you like you were nothing the place was full of russians and germans the food was the same each day and all you got was people just pushing you out of the line so that they could push in there was no food suitable for kids. the hotel was a really nice place but the rooms were tiny even for two people.
the thomas cook rep was not helpful at all, the questions we asked were not answered and she only came on one day per week and we were not even told what time we would be picked up from the hotel and in the end we had to call the office ourself.
i would not give this hotel 4 stars i would give a 2 star. We went all inclusive thinking that if we got hungry during the day then we could go and get a snack but none of this was the case all we got was breakfast at 7-9 and then lunch 12 - 2 and dinner 7:30 - 9. you have to pay for any ice creams that you want as these are not included in the all inclusive.
the entertainment was good though and there was always something going on in the hotel for people to join in on but it was just the hotel staff that let them down the way they talk to you is just not acceptable.

Excellent hotel, with a great kids club and good nightlife. Staff very good and spoke very good English. Only concern was them trying to sell Turkish carpets all the time. Dont buy any thing from the hotel, walk about 1km down the road to a local shop that sells goods at a quarter of the price. And dont get the local bus if female best to either go on the hotel minibus or get a taxi.
The kids will love this place, but if you want a quiet holiday beware this resort is very loud and lively with lots of young people from Holland and Russia.
Overall a very good hotel.

Firstly transfers were pathetic we were left in the middle of Marmaris at 3am at night had to wait for another bus to take us up to hotel no rep waited with us! Food? What choice of food oh yeah its raw fish and chips again! Once food has run out no food is put out so race down to the restaurant we were all fighting for chicken!
Not many people from England at all when we went one other family a lot of Germans and Russians who were very ignorant and thought they were a cut above the rest and used to push into queues! very slippery around the pool seeing children and adults fall became normal, safety on the beach is not good at all the lifeguards do not bother watching you!
Mosquitoes are constantly feeding on you, insect repellant is a must to take, you'll need it more than your bikinis! Air conditioning what? No such thing, it was pointless having it on there was no difference what so ever!
Entertainment was absolutely rude when they were acting out dogs mating in front of children was not entertainment at all!
Excursions are a must they were great the river Dalyan cruise and the mud baths were a fantastic experience! Would not really recommended unless for a short stay break!

Official rating 4/5 star too high, not bad, clean bedding and sheets each day, food satisfactory but same, same! Mosquitoes rife air con limited to 2 x daily. Although end of season entertainment was still on, ok if you like bingo!
Teenagers we took enjoyed it, transfer was long and drawn out. Recommend last day Dalyan transfer, accommodation was small Turkish hotel very nice, mud baths a must. Would not go back to hotel but views stunning.

A huge complex with some good facilities. Pools very good but ironically, a tenacious cleaning poolside regime results in exceedingly dangerous slippery tiles. Guests can frequently be seen skidding and falling down steps - often resulting in painful injuries - and employees/holiday representatives must see this as "normal" because there is no prior warning, no warning signs and no handrails on slippery steps UP to poolside toilets. Air conditioning is rationed to a couple of times a day and is not the most effective anyway. As a result, rooms heat up uncomfortably but local mosquitoes find them wonderful and thoroughly enjoy feasting on guests of all ages. Food, however, was definitely one of this hotel’s good points - really excellent choice with the opportunity to eat as much as you want. So, watch those tiles, take a fold up fan and fill your face with as much food as you can.

This hotel is 20km out of Marmaris and the airport to resort transfers were not well handled. The hotel has good facilities but the food and drink are definitely below par for an official 5* (Tcook 4*) hotel Rooms are clean and adequate. Evening entertainment is provided by animation team in an amphitheatre - can be a bit cool sitting and watching.
Hotel runs free courtesy bus into Marmaris and back 3 times daily. Did the tour to Dalyan to mud baths - quite an experience - smelly and slippery!
