Me and my three friends stayed there last november and wee all had a great time. when we went we thouhgt it would be rubish but we all had a brillant time there were going back this november, all the other people that have wriiten there reviews have made out its rubish!!!! what do you exspect with the price over all i thought it was amazing :) :) xxxxxxxxx

Me and my boyfriend stayed at Malibu Park in January. We also read reviews online which worried us but we still went ahead as we were getting a really good deal. On arrival we spent an hour looking for our apartment, even the reception staff couldnt find it, but eventually we did and it turned out we were right next to the lift which was good because it saved us going down loads of stairs lol. Malibu park is on top of a big hill so wouldnt be ideal for people with walking difficulties. We rarely used the pool facilities as we enjoyed spending our time in the town but the area was quite big an looked nice and clean and people seemed to be having a good time. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and the wee shop at the reception is good too. right under the hotel are some restaurants and shops which is also handy. Our room was basic but clean and had everything we needed. The only problem was I felt the bath was a bit dirty so I bought some disinfectant and cleaned it before we used it but thats just me. That was really the only problem we had. The room was really nice and the maids came every day and had fresh towels n sheets etc. All the self catering facilities were really good aswell we had all our utensils. If I liked self catering holidays I would go back to Malibu Park but I prefer all-inclusive.
Advice: Costa Adeje is close to the lively las americas and veronicas but out the way at the same time.
Activities: garfields and o'reillys is great and the indian restaurant above san eugenio shopping centre

just got back from tenerife with 3 friends,
started holiday off at Malibu...couldnt complain...read all the bad reviews and we were really dreading staying there....but room was clean...pool was clean...staff were friendly.
we had been there about 4nights and bikinis tops and bottoms went missing...people responsible were just alcohol fuelled were caught and everything was sorted.
came back from veronicas on the 5th night and the balcony had been trashed, we didnt leave the apartment until midnight and were back for around 7 so it was clear someone had watched the apartment to see when we went out.
the staff were amazing, security came down straight away, and the rep moved us to a new complex before 10 that morning.
eventhough this happened to us, we dont blame the staff like every other review seems to do! our thomas cook rep did everything she could to make sure we were happy.
definately going back to tenerife, just maybe not to malibu

I went here on holiday with 5 of my mates, we had two rooms, both awful. Firstly the travel agent told us it was a five minute walk to town, going to town (bearing in mind it is all down hill) took us roughly 30mins, due to the steep hills the walk back takes a lot longer. If u do go here be sure to take slippers as if u walk from one end of the apartment your feet will be black. We were self catering, but had to eat out every meal as neither our toaster or oven worked. In my apartment there was four girls including myself, two of us sleep in single beds made out of plywood, comfy, one girl had to sleep on a narrow sofa, and the fourth sleep in a drawer pulled out from under the sofa. These sleeping arrangments were completly unacceptable! Moreover the bathroom was small dingy with a weak shower, as I have already mentioned as soon as you step out of the shower your feet become black. We had a nice view from out balcony, we could see the sea, but could not truly apperciate it as even though we had a table we had no chairs and the reception told us they had a "shortage". Pool was ok, as was the bar.
The maids are the most polite staff even though they only spoke Spainish, there is a lot to be desired for the other, after a night out we were at reception waiting for our key and had to wait for the man to finish a text, he was extremly moody. We were told on the day of departure we could have an extension on the room if we paid 20 Euros, when I went to do this the woman behind the desk was practically shouting at me telling me I shouldn't have listened to the rep and I was stupid... how polite. My advice if you are going on a party holiday, make sure you get a hotel in the middle of town even if it is a bit more expensive as the money we spent on taxi's was roughly 200 Euros between 6 of us.

Booked for a quick cheap break. However it wasn't cheap. Apartment was a 1 bed. Supposed to sleep 4. I don't think so. If 4 of you go, make sure you take no clothes, because there is very little storage space. The apartment we had, we couldn't use the wardrobe in the bedroom because it was musty and damp. Apartment solution was TO PAINT IT. Obviously this didnt work. Cooking utensils very sparse and very very basic.
Take your own disclothes, tea towels etc, because ther arne't any.
The bar for food service - get there quick. They close at 8 for food and the bar shuts at 10. The menu is great if you like chicken nuggets and burgers.
Word of warning if travelling to Tenerife this year. With the Euro/£ exchange being poor. IT IS TWICE THE PRICE OF THE UK...SO EXPENSIVE.

I have just returned from Malibu Park having had a wonderful holiday with my family.
This was the first time I had booked independently and was pleasantly surprised. I stayed with my husband and three yound children in apartment 3064 which was great. It was clean and well equipped (not a cockroach in sight). The apartment overlooked the children's play area which came in useful when they needed more space to run around. We could let them play there and keep an eye on them from the apartment.
The pool was well supervised and communal areas i.e. toilets kept clean. Having spoken to other guests I believe not all apartments are as good so we felt really lucky and very comfortable.

treated my daughter to a holiday for her 21st birthday.We arrived about 10pm was pointed into the direction of our rooms, it took us about 10 mins to find it!! up & down ramps & stairs!! The room was clean upon arriving...apart from the bathroom! The bath was full of rusty holes & was rusty all around the sealant ( if that's what it was) the toilet hadn't ever seen a toilet brush ever!! we did'nt recieve clean sheets or towels all week!!
If you are facing the road , beware as i was woken every morning at 4.30 by the very noisy binmen, and the sound of a wolf all night long in the private houses!!
The staff where all lovely especially the young lad, very helpful. Could never find my rep to complain so just put up with it.
I would go back to tenerife but prob book elsewhere.

Booked this apartment 3 months ahead over the christmas 08 new year 09. We got to our room at 2 in the morning,as we put our 3 year old daughter on the pullout bed she fell through it as there were 3 slats mising from the bed base, as I got into my bed it apeared the sheets had been slept on. Sockets hanging of the wall, The chest of drawers in the bedroom were all broken, you couldn't put clothes in them. The whole apartment was dissgusting. To hire a tv for the week cost 25 euros what a rip off,at todays prices we are looking at £25. Some appartments flooded with the rain.
The pool wasnt heated but that didnt bother my daughter. Wouldnt go back if it was free
we did look at a privatly owned apartment in malibu park; very nice...would go back to stay in there (no hidden costs).

Submitted By: billy-hThe Malibu Park would be a great complex if the rooms were kept clean, our first night we had to ask to be moved to another room as the one we had been offered was filthy from the door and through out the apartment, the next one was a lot cleaner but was still dirty but bareable,all rooms are floor tiled through out and they look as if they need good scrub way a scrubbing brush, don't think i would go back unless the rooms were a lot cleaner, the video tour you get on the website is not what you see when you enter the apartment, We only got the one cock roach but seen a few dead ones in the first apartment,the pool and the splash bar were excellent though.
Advice: Would definatley go back to Playa De Las Americas
Activities: Favourite food was Lito's for breakfast and the The B&Q Chinese Buffet Restaurant.

JUST RETURNED FROM MALIBU PARK APTS ARRIVED ON 16TH NOV. GOT TO RECEPTION DESK GIRL VERY HELPFUL.THOMAS COOK REP NOT SO HELPFUL! TOLD WHERE OUR ROOM WAS. HALF MILE WALK JUST TO GET THEIR? ROOM 1016.1ST POINT VERY VERY HILLY.2ND POINT BIT OF WOOD STILL SECURING BALCONY DOOR?.3RD POINT VERY SLIPPY IN BATH WHEN HAVING A SHOWER NO MAT IN BATH TO STOP YOU FROM SLIDING AS I NEARLEY SLIPPED A FEW TIMES.4TH POINT IF ELDERLEY DONT BOOK THESE APTS AS IT IS HILLWALKING COUNTRY.5TH POINT FOOD AT POOLBAR NOT SO VERY GOOD!6TH POINT BEDS ARE A TOTAL WAIST OF TIME SORE BACK EVERY MORNING.WILL GO BACK TO TENERIFE BUT NEVER AGAIN TO THESE APTS

me, my mum, my sister, my mums friend and her two daughters stayed in malibu park and didnt think it was that bad. we wanted a cheap geta-way, yes we did come across a few cockroaches and a few cats but it wasnt that much of a problem. i wouldnt go back there to stay as the floors were dirty even when the maids had been in, cold showers, cracked tiles and the food by the pool wasnt great. the pool itself was clean just a shame the sunbeads were so uncomfertable. also the luggage room has to be locked by you or someone that is using it after you, so it is never guarantied that your luggage is safe. we found this out after someones luggage had been taken and someones camera taken from thier suitcase. also you have to get out of the appartments by 12 so if you were like us when your leaving the appartments at 11 you have to keep your luggage here, they do provide showers, which are againg freezing cold and dirty with no lighting!

i have been going to malibu park for 8yrs now and have enjoyed every minute of it. The staff have been great especially with the kids of other families we have met and have become friends with. if we have had any problems we just had to speak to our rep and she would sort it out within the hour. The reception staff were very helpful and all could speak good english .the apartment layout was perfect for our sons condition. security was very tight compared to years gone by.the venue for eating in the complex was exceptional with a great selection of local and continental food. All round my family and myself enjoyed it once agin

having read all the bad reveiws I WAS EXTREMLY WORRIED ABOUT GOING THERE WITH 3 YOUNG BOYS but once we arrived all them worries went we had room 3060 right by the park and it was lovely no problems what so ever did get a cockroach but thats nothing pool was lovely great big kids pool, pool bar shows some great movies in the night overall i would not worry to much we had a fab time and will be going back again and would not hessitate these apartments

but in the rest of our stay it was ok, but our bed sheets and towels only got changed twice in the two weeks we were there. keep shoes on when your walking about in your room as your feet will be black. the reception were not very helpful and the rep was never to be seen. sunbeds? if u want a sunbed you will have to get up at half 6-7 to get one and once you get it keep grad of it! as if you get up theres big chances of your towels geting took off the beds and your bed being took!
Advice: very hilly!!
