We stayed here again. same week, different year. room very good and clean as always. I did have a couple of cockroaches that decided to accompany themselves within our room, however they didn't get much chance to live! Staff on the complex are as friendly as always, however... more

just got back from 2 weeks at the royal gardens and have no complaints at all. 2 bed apartment was clean and up to date (flat screen tv!) Staff were always friendly and helpful. Pool bar excellent as usual and the mcguiness bar just outside great for a late drink. Love the... more

tips........no tips needed as soon as you arrive you think you are at home.........only real down side is the whole building needs a total refurbishment i dont think that will happen in the near future as the guys who likely owned the whole timeshare has take their money out and done a runne rand left the shareholders paying over the odds for their fees.........but who knows what will happen in the future

we were contacted by telephone about this hotel and sent photo's via email. When we turned up we were in for a shock... After booking a non smoking room poolside we were directed to a room similar to that of another reviewer, a smelly, stained and badly furnished room. Stayed at Tenerife Royal Gardens for one week from 16th February with 3 friends. Had booked two one bed apartments and requested adjoining. Unfortunately they could not accomodate this but with internal phones and views from respective balconies this was a very minor inconvenience. Fantastic location, Clean but basic & in need of some TLC from janeymates
We stayed at the Tenerife Royal Gardens over Christmas week 2006 and had an enjoyable time. Good Points: We bought a 2 bed unit in this timeshare resort for Christmas week very cheaply via an internet private sale, and therefore don't feel justified in complaining too much, as the views alone are worth what we paid. The 2 bedroom apartments will comfortably sleep 4, but it would be very cosy with 6, as is advertised as the maximum occupancy. We were booked to stay in these apartments for one week from 5th January 2007. We stayed 50 minutes. The apartments left a lot to be desired. The foam from the fold down bed was all stained. The woodwork was all broken and in dire need of a lick of paint. I didn't have the nerve or the stomach to check the kitchen appliances. The bedroom area was sectioned off using cheap trellice and you could not walk around the bed as there was no room.
