The hotel rooms are old and not redecorated in a long time. Furniture broken, bathroom even worse.

Large 68 room 'hotel', 7 rooms allocated to Brits, most guests were Polish. Located in a quiet area with small but expensive mini market next door. Not suitable for children or teens as nothing there to do. No entertainment, just bar that closes at 1am and drinkers expected to be quiet as not to disturb other guests. Would suit elderly people as the place is run by two elderly brothers. Cleaners evident but no sign of cleaning, Pool disgusting, and pool area never swept or cleaned yet the grass is watered each evening (causing mud splashes onto the tiles and not nice to walk on in bare feet). Staff were friendly but distant. We stayed here two weeks and did not know any of there names nor were we asked for our first names. The allocation of rooms poor as Brits are slotted in between polish, so no 'balcony chit chat'. Rooms are very basic and there is little or no water for showering after 7pm. All seating is plastic, even in the bar. The drink menu offers Fanta at 1.80 Euro a glass (which is around 1 Euro a large bottle in the supermarket up the road) but you get a cheap version of fizzy orange. On the last day, we were told, from next year, Thomas Cook is no longer sending guests here and I applaud their decision.

The resort of Pefkohori is typically greek, tavernas gift shops etc. There were 5 of us in our party 3 adults and 2 teenagers. On arrival our accomadation seemed really pleasant good sized rooms, we had two studio apartments overlooking the pool which was a good size,in the brochure the pool had a small diving board which had been removed and 'no diving' signs painted round the pool this wasn't a problem as the pool wasn't really deep enough to dive into, when we used the pool on the second day the girls were playing about and jumping in generally having fun,the barman came out and told them that they were not allowed to dive which they weren't when we asked him why, he said the manager said "NO DIVING, it disturbs the other guests" So we stopped the girls jumping in which upset them as they felt they could no longer have fun in the pool when the same thing happened on another day when there was only our party in the pool we complained and was told that diving was not allowed as it was local county law when we pointed out that they were not diving they were only jumping he said it was the same thing it turned out that someone had complained because the got splashed. Our party was the only one told not to jump in but it was okay for the others who all seemed to be from Yorkshire and as we had a north west accent we felt vindicated, overall this hotel is not suitable for famillies with teenagers who want to enjoy themselves. I will not be going back to the Petridis Hotel again.

Love Pefkohori, have been going for many years and will be going for many more years to come. People are great, plenty to do on the front. Sea and beaches very clean. Loads of places to eat, food excellent and reasonably priced.
Have stayed at Petridis Hotel for last 2 years and will be going back again this year. Hotel Diana also very good.

If your looking for a VERY quiet place this is for you, but let me just say that this hotel has NO entertainment at all & the management will not put on any apart from 1 quiz night a week that last 30mins. The hotel do cook but the prices are very expensive, I'd advise on eating out although the beer is ok. The area is very nice & quiet with alot of shops. So if you're going to Pefkohori you will enjoy it, but please for your own sanity DONT stay at the Petridis Apartments.

I decided to come here with 3 friends as it was reasonably good value for money, and never been to Greece before.
But when we arrived in the hotel, realised there was no air con and because it was July it was soooo hot and unbearable at night, fans were available though.
Also at night there seemed to be quite a lot of commotion outside making it even harder to get to sleep. I thought the location of the hotel was bad as there was nothing much to do. The beach was also rubbish.
If I did more research on the hotel before, I probably would not have booked it...! But that’s my opinion.
So I give this hotel a VERY generous 6/10.

My husband and I went on 31st August 2006 just after the fires.
The people not only had to cope with the fires but then they had the floods which swept cars into the sea.
We must say they all cleaned up everywhere before we got there. They did a fantastic job. People were very friendly.
We enjoyed our stay, room ok. Shower good, very clean, towels changed nearly every day. Swimming pool very clean, food good.
Plenty of places to eat. The old square is great, Pauls place excellent.
Beach o.k. considering the fires. Plenty of nice shops. Only thing we found was it’s a long drive from airport to resort.
Flight very good, coach was there waiting, very good.
I must say we do prefer the Islands, but we made friends with some people from London who were very nice.
Management were very helpful.

The accommodation was basic but generally clean, although we were told the staff were too busy to clean occupied rooms and empty bins on Mondays, having not cleaned the rooms on Sundays.
Breakfast was generous in quantity but the bread was usually stale. The problem was that August is when all the children are on holiday so the hotel was extremely noisy, both from other rooms and from the apartments opposite.
No fans (hire at an additional charge of 2 euros per night) nor air con meant ideally the windows needed to be open, but the noise at night from passing traffic and shouting people meant sleep was hard to achieve.
Overall a good place for a holiday at a reasonable price - but not in high season if you can avoid it.

These was a great apartments. Very quiet but they had no problem with noisy children as there were only a few.
Small pool but never overcrowded. Rooms were simple but clean and nice with great balconies. The surrounding area was loud but was close to plenty of shops and restaurants.
However the beach was not very good because it was infested with sea urchins.

This was our first visit to Greece so we were not sure what to expect. The apartment was basic but very clean. The staff were friendly and obliging. The hotel was ideally situated for us, only a few hundred yards from the old square and quite close to the beach.
The beach was only disappointing inasmuch that it was a bit shingled but the sea was so clear and spotlessly clean. Everyone was so friendly that we will definitely be going back one day.
As we had gone mainly for a rest we went on only one outing which was a trip around the peninsular. The driver was excellent and careful and the guide was an absolute font of knowledge!
On the whole, we had a thoroughly enjoyable week, made new friends and met wonderful people in a lovely part of the world with the added bonus of brilliant weather, the only rain we had falling at night.

The resort was absolutely perfect, very quiet and relaxing, just what we were after. If we fancied something a bit more up beat we just hopped in a taxi to Hanioti, a near by resort.
Our hotel was pretty basic but it didn’t matter as we weren’t there often. We spent most of the holiday on the Beach. The hotel was clean and the staff were very friendly. Hotel facilities were also basic but it was the beach that was important to us and that was lovely.
Sharon - our holiday rep - was brilliant. She kept referring to us as ‘her darlings’ and really did her best to look after us.
Over all the holiday was fantastic, the only thing that could’ve been better was the weather!

even though the staff was really polite and helpfull(except from one)I wouldn't go again.the beds were old,the room had a weird smell, the cleaners neither cleaned the bathroom nor tidied up the beds.the pool area could be better-was indifferent-and there was no parking in such a crowd area!
