Stayed at the Stella in the last two weeks of July 07. Basic accommodation just off the main street, good value for money.
Pool is a little small for the number of people in high season but Pefkos is full of pool bars and the sea is only a few minutes walk away so never had a problem finding a sun bed in Pefkos.
We had a ground floor apartment in a block that was up a slope - as indicated in the brochures not suitable for those with mobility problems.
In our first week there was a day or two of sewerage smells but this did not happen again during the rest of the stay. There were some signs of previous water leakage from the apartment above in our bathroom and a little mould, as I could not open the window for any ventilation.
The cleaners came most days but never cleaned our patio floor area though the rest of the apartment was cleaned. There was not much hot water (as we were warned) but it was so hot we were glad of the cool water!!!
The apartments are in a good position close to everything. Ideal for couples and families. Plenty of restaurants but not lots of entertainment. Hire a car and discover the rest of Rhodes too.

We had 2 weeks at the Stella it was fantastic. The staff were very hard workers they saw to your needs exceptionally well.
The locals especially two brothers from just up the road, made our holiday. They came to see us every day it was a holiday to remember.
Safraz and Angel were the two people who made our holiday super. The accommodation was spotless and clean A++++

Stayed at the Stella Aparthotel in September 2006 with my wife.
Very pleased with our choice of accommodation, clean well maintained and very helpful staff. Some of the rooms require a walk up hill. May be a problem to some, but not us.
Stella is in a very good location in Pefkos and you do not have to walk far for bars and restaurants as it’s just off the main street with more restaurants than bars. It’s a 5 minute walk to the nearest beach.
Only problem I found was the lovely smell of the bakery across the road made it hard not to take a walk up the hill first thing in the morning, by the end of the week you could roll me back down.
Pefkos is a lovely resort to stay in. Not too big, nightlife is pleasant and not loud and in your face like some resorts.
Love it and you probably will too.

Went with my girlfriend for quiet relaxing holiday and was perfect. Nice and quiet no hustle and bustle of 24 hour party people.
Situated just at the bottom of the hill so know climbing required, bars shops and restaurants all a stones throw away.
Weather was red hot for the time of year. Be prepared to pay for air con though as you will need it, we went without for one night and couldn’t cope.
Staff were all helpful too. Would recommend to anyone who like myself loves chilling.

We enjoyed a wonderful week at this hotel.
All rooms had a sea view and initially we were given one with a side view of the sea. We asked the travel agent for one specifically, Stella altered our room personally giving us a room overlooking the pool and the sea.
During our stay we had two terrific storms during the night but the staff were up early to clean up. There is a nice bakery about 25 yards up the hill and many restaurants very close by.
As we ate in several different ones we could not recommend one but they were all good and reasonable. We cannot speak more highly of this hotel and will certainly be returning.

Would like to enter review on Kosmar holidays, excellent tour operators! Very well organised and friendly team all round. Stella very good, clean rooms adequately equipped wonderful view, staff polite and quick service. Resort good and close to beach.
We decided to hire a car from firm located just in front of hotel 4 days cost 80euros and worth it. Managed to see all round island and only had one scare when we got caught in a horrific storm in the mountains. Restaurants all excellent food none more than 7 to 8 euros each for a stonking meal, no room for pud too full from main dish!
The only slight disappointment was the solar powered water system, bit hit and miss if not full sun all day. Definitely recommend the resort and Kosmar hols and Stella. This was our first time in Greek isles and we will be returning definitely!

We visited the Stella apartments and thought they were fantastic. The complex was bright and clean and staff were extremely friendly. The rooms were like brand new and maids visited regularly throughout the week.
The resort of Pefkos itself has it all. It is quiet and whilst there is no rabal there are plenty of things to do and places to eat. We found that the Taj Mahal/Shanghai nights and Georges were excellent for food. All restaurants were good value for money.
There are 2 supermarkets next to and below Stella, however we found that Supermarket Maria is the cheapest and has the best selection of food and drink. This supermarket is on the way to the beach.
Pefkos beach is lovely and there is a more secluded beach within pefkos called AG Thomas beach. Often we were the only people there, it was fantastic.
There is also a large selection of bars, the best being Elemesa and Fuse bar. The people who run Fuse bar are very welcoming and it is very friendly. These are 2 must go bars.
Overall we had an amazing holiday at the Stella apartments and we would definitely return.

Just returned from the Stella apartments with my wife and 2 daughter's age 18 & 15, and my parents.
The apartments were spotless, and cleaned every day apart from Sunday. It was always busy around the pool, but mainly too hot to stay there for long. The main beach is excellent.
Plenty of restaurants and bars, our favourite restaurant being the blue bay, fab. Stella is a
very nice lady, and can't do enough to help. All in all, it really was brilliant.

Apartment okay, disliked bathroom as place was flooded after 4 people done in there, shower curtain not much good at keeping water in. Would have needed a mop & bucket to mop up after each shower. Basic catering facilities. Maid service very good with towels & bed linen being changed almost every day.
Staff very friendly. Top pool a bit more busy then smaller bottom one. However there were not enough sun beds or umbrellas to go round and at the bottom pool where we went each day, some of the beds & brollies were in bad condition.
We did ask our rep to speak to management about getting some more brollies which he did. They said it would get done tomorrow - tomorrow never came - not in my 2 weeks. Location was very good - less than 5 mins walk into Koutoulofari. Quiet resort but with lots of fantastic restaurants. Ate in a different one each night and not a bad meal in any of them. However there are a lot of young people about in August when we were there and a lot of quads & mopeds scooting through the village - beware. Traffic guards were trying to stop traffic with limited success, between the hours of 7 & 11pm.
Piskopiano village is just a further 5 - 10 mins walk and again more very good restaurants and some bars. Hersonissos was a 10 minute walk downhill for more shops & bars beach side. Beach a disappointment, dirty & small. Star beach not much better, it is more for water sports and swimming pools with loungers.
Liked Koutoulofari and would go back again, this was our second time as a family. Would like to go back there as a couple as there are some lovely quiet intimate bars where you can enjoy a quiet drink.

We stayed for 2 weeks at the Stella Apartments in July and they were fantastic. The rooms were very spacious and cleaned everyday except for Sundays. The pool area was well kept and cleaned every morning and there are plenty of beds and umbrellas available throughout the day. The pool itself is a decent size and has 2 smaller pools suitable for young children, there is also a playground for them. The apartments are a short walk from 2 beaches and a supermarket is just down some steps from the apartment the location is brilliant!
Mohammed one of the staff was very friendly and always happy to help and have a chat however Joy wasn’t to friendly! There’s not much entertainment at the Stella but there is some on a Monday night.
A few places that I would recommend are, The Two Brothers a fantastic meal(we went there for our last meal)also some Greek dancing. The Coliseum, Hellas, Nostalgia and the pizzeria on the square. A few bars; my favourite the Jasmine cocktail bar and nostalgia bar. Take a trip into Lindos its so different to Pefkos lots of lovely shops try steffanys the food is fantastic and you have a wonderful view of the acropolis!
We took a trip into Rhodes Town by night lovely if you like little nik nak shops but thats all there is by night, by day its much different. The water park is amazing lots of thrilling rides the free fall and the wavepool are a must!
We didn’t have a very nice meal at Nikkis which is next door to the apartments as we were left waiting and were served a wrong meal, also we had a disappointing meal at Enigma especially as the place looked so nice here we were left and had part cold food, some people just got up and left!
Overall we had a fantastic holiday and didn’t want to leave after the 2 weeks we are thinking of returning very soon!

The apartment complex is fairly new and well kept. Our rooms were cleaned almost daily with towels & bed linen being changed regularly. Couldn't fault the staff or apartments. Pool area spacious enough for the number of apartments at this complex. We were there in the height of the season and had no trouble getting beds even at midday. Beach is a 10 minute walk downhill.
Nice clean beach with plenty of beds again and a nice breeze. Beach side cafes cant remember the name, 'Flyers' maybe, doing snacks etc really friendly staff too and a toilet!
Plenty of restaurants in resort, especially liked 'Two Brothers' but we ate in a different restaurant every night and not a bad meal in any of them.
Not a resort for those looking for hectic nightlife, this resort is quietish mainly restaurants catering for young families. I will certainly go back maybe 2007 as I’d already booked for Crete this year before I visited Pefkos. Cheap car hire from the English guy just outside Stella Apartments, he has an apartment there. Lindos worth a visit. Some lovely beaches and villages - worth exploring.
Water Park, if you have children, or even if you don't, is fantastic. Overall, really enjoyed these apartments and Pefkos, if you've never been to the Greek isles this is a good one to try.

This holiday was awesome. I loved it so much! The people there are great.
It was really hot when we went there and the pool was dead hot at like 4pm, so at around 4pm we used to walk up to the Eclipse Bar which is about 5 minutes down the road. The pool there is so cool and refreshing.
There is massive fountains that you can jump off as well. Loads of Greek kids are up there but they are dead friendly and its just awesome!
Pefkos is an amazing little place.
