This ship (formerly Renaissance II) was one of the original eight built for Renaissance Cruises but has undergone a major refit before starting (in May 2005) its new role for easyCruise. The concept of the compact cabins is based on easyHotel, a new cheap city hotel brand also launched by easyJet founder Stelios Haji-Iaonnou.
