Value for money!! Definately for people who don't like cruises. They sail at night and in the morning you are free to go on tours, go partying or whatever you like. Very informal, you don't need to stay on the boat at all
There were a couple of downpoints - for me there was the fact that no cash could be used for drinks, tours, food etc... And also the room was quite small (but what do you expect for £20 a head in a quad cabin) We went for the room only, but paid one night for the buffet which was absolutely amazing. Everyone is very friendly in the restaurant -the manager gave us free beers one night because their draft was out, and one even gave me superglue because my sandals broke.
We went to cruise around the Aegean, but here's some information for you if you go on this one. In Syros there is absolutely nothing to do so I would advise booking the tour on the Easycruise. Mykonos is supposed to be the party capital but at 12 EUR a cocktail and 7 EUR a beer I can't undertand why. Get a tour from easycruise for Athens as well because when you get out of the cruise port you will be hounded by taxi drivers!
All in all an amazing experience, we're thinking about doing the Ionian one next so will be back to update!

A really good value for money trip. A cruise without the pretentiousness of other more expensive companies. The cabins are basic but the places visited more than make up for this. The staff were all very friendly and efficient, particularly Lucien, one of the waiters in the restaurant. If you are expecting to dress up for dinner and dine on fine foods then this isn't for you. If, however, you want a cheap way of exploring different places, spending more time on shore than on the boat, then choose Easy Cruise - you wont be disappointed.

Great value for your money!
Each port had an organized tour option. We did one tour through the ship due to the distance to the ancient site of Olympia from our port. Once we took a city bus for $2.50 and once we rented a scooter.
My only complaint is that passengers are not supposed to bring food or drink onboard. They'll let you slide with your bottle of water but otherwise you are supposed to check your food at reception and then take the food off the ship to consume it.
I understand the food and beverages is where they make their money but I was not impressed with the food. If it's not that good and overpriced and your not allowed your own food, then what are you to do? Of course we snuck some food on so we could at least have a decent breakfast each morning.
Oh and some of the other passengers complained about the engine noise in their rooms. Our room was a little bit bigger than most. We were on the second deck without a window but the point is not to hang out onboard.
One more really annoying thing. The directions for our port of embarkation from Piraeus, Greece were WRONG. I walked all over the place and finally someone knew that the easyCruise left from the port a couple kilometers away.
I would take another easyCruise.
I was also surprised by the number of older people on the ship. I was thinking more of a hostel crowd. Whatever. There were some college age and 20 something's too.

We really enjoyed the new Easy Cruise formula in the Caribbean.
The one week itinerary one was very interesting giving us the opportunity to spend full days ashore in Bequia, Grenada, St Vincent, St Lucia and Barbados during two days.
We liked the freedom to stay and eat on board where the food was good or have dinner each evening on another island without having to come back on board early.
We travelled on many cruise HAL or Cunard ships but our waistline suffered each time.
The Easy cruise formula is based on freedom, time ashore and an overall comfortable small ship.
The cabins are small and spartan and air conditioning is very cool but this was the only drawback of the whole program and we felt younger than when surrounded with overweight and underfed companions on big cruise ships.

Having just returned from a week on easy cruise one in the Caribbean, I would recommend it to anyone as a no frills cruise. It was excellent value for money, we would have paid a lot more for our great week on easy cruise one.
Rooms were basic but very clean, only slight hiccup was poor drainage in the shower but we got used to this very quickly, showers were very powerful and hot. There isn't loads of storage but ample if your a bit organised. Some reviews we read were worrying when mentioning the glass wall of the bathroom, but panic not it is frosted glass and not see through at all.
The food in the onboard restaurant was delicious with a good selection on the menu and very well priced, drinks are also good value. The staff onboard were friendly and very helpful.
The onboard trips were good value for money compared to the same tours on shore, there was a very good choice of trips, so much so we did four and couldn't do some because they clashed. Try the zip line sliding in Antigua it was awesome! Also the rainforest hike in Nevis.
If you book this cruise, a trip to Maho beach in st Martin is a must to see the planes landing just over your head, and to feel the jet blast of the jets taking off (see if you can stay standing). St Martin is also shopping paradise if that's what you’re after. All the islands have fabulous beaches with good snorkeling, (there is a map of each island available on the boat) but the best is Shoal Bay in Anguilla. Another must is the killer Bee in sunshine bar in Nevis, it's a long stroll from the boat or a short taxi ride (everyone local knows it).
TIPS
If you’re a light sleeper some ear plugs would be handy, cos if you’re on deck two you can sometimes hear the sound of the waves. My hairdryer did not work sufficiently to dry my hair due to the voltage on the boat, so don't rely on such items.
If you’re daring try a cocktail in the sun and moon bar, especially the slip deck.

I had a great time and would encourage everyone and anyone to take a trip on the Big Orange Boat.
First, the logistics. We sailed down the Italian and French Riviera, hitting Genoa, Portofino, Imperia, Nice, Cannes, St. Tropez, and Monaco.
Let me say that the sights are as they might expect them to be-- beautiful-- and the weather was very very nice, 70s and 80s. I thank God for EasyCruise because without it, I could not have afforded to wine and dine (okay, more dining than wining but you understand) in these places.
Okay, so the cruise was really cheap (really cheap) and I was little worried about it at first, but, you know me, always up for an adventure. I read some reviews and paid my $250 for the weeklong cruise. Yep, that's right, $250 dollars.
I didn't know what to expect but we boarded our flights to Milan and figured the rest out as we went along. When we got to Milan, we took a bus for an hour and then a train for another 1.5 hours to Genoa, birthplace of Christopher Columbus. Once we got to Genoa, we followed our directions to the cruise ship... but to no avail!
No, it wasn't a scam. We could see the ship across the way, but we couldn't get to it. Being too tired and weighed down with luggage to swim the distance, we jumped into a cab, which was very overpriced. (We later found out that the ship had docked in a different location and that EasyCruise had made efforts to call us about the change).
The ship itself was very nice, despite the bright orange colour. It was clean and the crew was really nice and accommodating. The rooms were small but big enough for the purpose- sleeping. The only problem was the shower, which leaked.
Plus, having a cabin without a window made it impossible to keep track of the time of day (bring a clock and a converter). The food on board was good (except the pumpkin soup) and reasonably priced. It was also a welcomed change of pace from pizza.
First stop, Portofino. A nice, small, quaint town. We took the bus to Santa Marguerita and Rapallo, which are nice, not so small but still small, quaint towns. Second stop, Imperia. I signed up for "a nice bike ride up to a family-owned olive oil factory where we would have a picnic of crackers, olive oil, peach marmalade, and homemade wine. The bike ride, though advertised as a leisurely adventure, was physically demanding and I would not recommend it for anyone unaccustomed to 8 mile uphill rides.
Next, we were onto Nice, which has a beautiful Promenade and a beach made completely of rocks... very nice but very uncomfortable. Cannes, I still am not sure how to pronounce it, but it was a city full of excitement. The home of the film festival, it is like Hollywood (on a smaller scale). We saw the handprints of some American stars-- including Spike Lee (who wrote "Jungle Fever" on his handprint) and Whoopi Goldberg.
Due to rough seas, the ship didn't depart from Cannes onto St. Tropez as scheduled. But, we were able to make it to St. Tropez on the bus provided by easy Cruise. The trip was about an hour and fifteen minutes. St. Tropez was nice.
The Porsche Club of France was meeting and had a car show and parade so we got to see lots of antique porche (another word I am not sure how to pronounce). Lots of vendors and little shops. A really pretty city that closes down early around 6pm.
Our next stop was Monaco. What can I say? Monte Carlo is in Monaco, if that gives you any indication of the wealth of that small country-- where everyone is employed and there are cameras watching your every move. We did a tour (Monaco Tours), which took us to the Palace of Prince Albert III and the casino (absolutely beautiful... that really doesn't capture it). It was gorgeous... it is a renovated opera house.
The tour also took us on the route of the Grand Prix. Not a big racing fan, but it was exciting nonetheless. Then, we were back in Genoa, where we saw one of the grandest churches that I have ever seen. It definitely rivals the Sistine Chapel and Notre Dame. It was breathtaking. I thought it housed the Last Supper but the painting, though similar, was not the famous artwork (which is in Milan).
We also saw Columbus' house from the outside, too pricey to venture inside, and ate some gelatto (highly recommended). We took a train back to Milan, stayed in a quaint, family-owned hotel, and caught our flight the next morning.
I have great memories and pictures not to mention e-mail addresses for some of the people that we met. That is the great thing about EasyCruise, you meet people from all over the world! It was a great adventure. They are going to Greece this summer and I can hardly wait!!!

EasyCruise exceeded all my expectations and proved a fantastic base for an independent holiday.
Easily booked online, along with flights on budget airlines, the whole process was trouble free from start to finish.
On arrival in Nice a 30 Euro taxi ride to the 'grand bateau orange' was a pleasant introduction to the Cote D'Azur. Once aboard the staff are fantastic and really very pleasant at all hours of the day and night.
Yes the cabins are small but then they are on other ships! Yes they have an orange colour scheme but it really is not offensive on the eye! There are some problems with water not draining properly in the showers but they were fixing this with while I was on board. I was travelling alone and found no problems with space but with two people sharing a cabin there would be a bit of a logic problem finding somewhere to put large suitcases (except on deck 2 where the cabins are 2 square metres larger). Having peeked in the suites though they didn’t seem to be worth the extra £110 a night.
The other passengers were a wide range of ages and nationalities, with the expected English Stag party! The partying on ship sometimes continued until sunrise with people setting off to bed just before the ship set sail, which is between 6am and 9am most days. There were older couples and single travellers but the majority of people seemed to be US and Australians 'doing' Europe, and of course the film crew!
The itinerary takes in some lovely places but I found having to use the tender boat very limiting. In Nice, Cannes and Genoa we were docked in port but St Tropez and Monaco moored at sea (do the residents not fancy a big orange ship in port??). The tender boat does not start until after 1pm, even when we obviously arrived in Monaco around 11am, and it then runs usually every 2 hours. Not only is it frustrating when you want to get off but you then have to be clock watching ashore so as to get the return tender. That said the advantage with easyCruise One is that it can dock in lots of places that bigger ships would never be able to.
In Monaco the weather turned bad and it was too rough to tender so the ship turned back to Nice, leaving most of us in Monaco. Not to worry though as when I returned to the tender point there was Stelios (founder and owner of the easy group) arranging taxi’s back to Nice. In fact we shared a ride back to the ship and he then invited us all on deck for cocktails and canapés! The taxis continued to run back and forth to Monaco as the tender would have so no one could complain and for those of us suffering sea sickness (much worse on the tender) this was a bonus!
Overall easyCruise makes for a great holiday as long as you have done your research and know what to expect, basically a room only hotel on water. The service is outstanding and prices cheap, I will certainly be boarding again.

If you have booked then try to cancel if you are thinking of booking this cruise please don’t. Its cheap that’s the only plus point. Greece is beautiful and the islands wonderful. If you manage to get off thus awful ship - whether or not the ship had a problem which is what we heard or easycruise group is too tight to pay the docking charge but this ship had to use tenders almost everywhere we went. You have to negotiate getting off of this "old tug" to get onto a tender in the middle of the ocean. Its dangerous. The whole process took 3 hours one day to get us off of the ship. When you get back on you have to sit on the tender until it’s full which takes ages. On one occasion we were truly frightened for our lives the tender could not tie onto the ship. People were praying and crying. We had a cabin on the 4th deck right next to a compressor which was on constantly. My daughter was constantly vomiting due to the fumes. It’s old very dirty. The food is disgusting, and believe me I am not that fussy. The staff smoke in the bar so non smokers have to sit outside on the deck in the evening which is quite chilly. Absolutely, no good for children. The pool is so dirty it should have a government health warning. Easycruise life staff are very good at shrugging there shoulders and saying “its not my fault” I filled in a complaint form on ship and so far no response and have written 3 weeks ago and again not even the courtesy of an apology.
