I've just got back from a week at the Odysseus on a 2wentys holiday which i booked through first choice... After booking my holiday and reading the hotels reviews i expected to turn up in a dump... It was no where near as bad as i expected... We were given the apartment above the 24 hour poolside bar... which was noisy but was much bigger than the other rooms and was very clean.. The maids had been in our room when items had been left lying around and they didn't touch a thing.. As for the dead cockroaches i didnt see one... However there is a lot of mosquitos so insect reppelant is necessary. The 2wentys reps were ace and made everyone feel involved... the excursions.. although expensive.. where well worth it and i had one of the best holidays ever... so if youve booked in this hotel i wouldnt worry as it is nowhere near as bad as you would expect.
Advice: Kavos is lively and suits ayone up for a laugh and a good time... very hot also
Activities: The booze cruise was really fun (booked with 2wentys) TKD's food was by far the best..

These apartments are fantastic there is always a party going on! Accomodation a little basic but all you need when you are just going to be crashing at the end of a night out! Jhonny the bar man is a legend! Close to all amenities and the best apartments in Kavos! We are going again in August 08 that will be my 3rd year here so it cant be bad!

We went with First Choices version of 18-30s holiday 2wentys. The hotel and place were everything we wanted, however we felt that we had been ripped off by signing up to all the activities with 2wentys.
We could have booked everything we did separately and we would have saved a lot of money. Good location but not for families.

Great first holiday! We went in a group of 3 girls.
The rooms were wicked, bit small, and had a bogey green bathroom with no shower head holder so whilst draining shampoo out of your hair you found yourself doing the crab. The security guard is an absolute legend! Tries to lay the law down but never seems to work.
Food was good, but English bar next door was great, had proper English breakfasts, none of that stringy stuff.
24 hour pool bar was amazing, the bar bloke Jonny was great, giving out free shots all night long, and was egging us on to push the security guard in the pool. Not too many gypsies but if they approached us our holiday reps told them where to go! Drinks were expansive at 5 euro a cocktail. Overall great for young couples and groups.
P.s do not book the trips as a package, through booking things separately from the shops on the strip we could have saved at least £200.

Great resort, absolutely buzzing nightlife and wicked weather! The food was great and so were the locals. I would not recommend this resort for anyone over 30 or with a heart problem.

The whole 2 weeks was going to be mint but I got my mobile stolen along with £300. Management didn’t seem that interested. Apparently it happens all the time. So if you’re planning to go to Kavos don’t take your phone unless it’s pre-historic and always use traveller’s cheques!!!

Be warned though sun loungers are 1.50 a day and air con is 50 euros per room and the safe is 20 euros but all well worth paying for!! We had a few problems with air con but the staff came and fixed it everytime and were really helpful all week!! Hotel is right on the Kavos strip and i'd recommend you to go there!! Dont be put off by bad reviews!!
