This is truly one of the most wonderful holidays that you will have. The staff are some of the most professional and friendly you could find anywhere in the world. We are, like so many of our fellow travellers, looking forward to returning to the Regency in Kalkan. Just for information, Kalkan is a village and not a city!

I have traveled Turkey since 1981 and have spent 17summers during that time everywhere in Turkey. Most memorable times were my stays in KALKAN. In the ealry 80's there was only a gravel road from Kalkan to KAS. Having found a resort village so quaint and quiete, off the tourist path, I truly loved going there. Now my stays are with The Regency whenever visiting; great friendly family owners/operators that I have befriended since, terrific local tours, super bar & billiards, enjoyable evening dinners on the top balcony Bar.
Most enjoyable were the pool-side Special dinners.
If you want quiet you can get it at the Regency Kalkan...goingback soon!

I have travelled and lived for long periods of time all over the world and yet this is my favourite place to visit.
The hotel is exquisite the staff are well trained and friendly, and the service is second to none. The care of the owners make such a difference as their staff respect and care about the same things as they do. I have been every year for the past 6 years and will continue to do so for as long as I am able. Kalkan as a resort is unspoilt and long may it continue to be so, a week here and you can sack your therapist.

What an amazing place, when they say un-commercial Turkey they mean it. The locals are so friendly and the hotel staff and owner make you feel welcome from the moment you step off the coach.
What an amazing way to spend a week. The little treats as you sit by the pool, the Turkish bath, and the cocktails at the bar will make the week fly by and relax you more than you would imagine possible. I would strongly recommend the hotel and Kalkan to everyone.

The Tomanbay family - Nuri, Masuda, and their sons Dolunay and Aşkinay - have created a fantastic atmosphere with wonderful luxury, excellent food in a great setting. Nothing is too much trouble. "No" is not a word in their vocabulary. And they have imbued their staff with the same ethos. We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. Superlative.
