Edinburgh Capital Hotel Reviews
" Once again, having stayed many times... "
Submitted By: Mrs V STAMPER
Once again, having stayed many times at the capital moat they excelled themselves at customer care. The rooms are beautifully kept and nothing is too much trouble for them. One phone call down to reception and anything is put right immediately. I was unfortunately ill for a few days and the staff could not do enough for me and in this day and age that means a very great deal when you are travelling alone. It is very close to the airport very convenient for the city and I would highly recommend it indeed.
" We stayed at this hotel for a wedding... "

We stayed at this hotel for a wedding reception. it was an excellent choice because it is outside Edinburgh in a quiet area, very near the airport. When we checked in they gave us a superior room, which was very modern and clean.
The breakfast in the morning was in the conservatory bit at the back, it was a buffet with a great choice of food and drink. It also had a good leisure area with a pool and steam room and sauna, but no Jacuzzi, which was a bit disappointing. The only other bad thing we found was that when we went to bed you could still here quiet a lot of noise from where the wedding was being held, so maybe check if there is going to be a function on when you are staying.
And also it costs over £10 in a taxi to get to the city centre so you would probably need a car as well.
Overall it was great value for money 7/10
