Expensive. And they charge extra for everything.
Plan to pay extra for parking, data connection, breakfast - actually anything except the gym and pool.
But if you complain they might knock the extras off your bill.
I thought breakfast was included - but it showed up as an additional £17.95 on my bill. Nothing in the breakfast area or anywhere else I saw indicated that cost (and the breakfast is no better than you'll get anywhere else).
Rooms were advertised with data connections - but when you get there it says it's £15/day.
Apparently the car park charge is expensive, but I can't say for a fact - check before you check-in.

The rooms were clean and the staff were polite and helpful.
You do have to pay £5 for the car park and get your ticket authorised each time you leave the car park.
There is a bus that passes the front of the hotel which takes you into the centre of Edinburgh if you don't want to take your car.
The swimming pool was lovely and clean and so were the changing areas. The hotel welcomed my two children aged three & eight.
