Holyrood Aparthotel

This is a wonderful hotel with loads of amenities just steps from the Royal Mile. The staff is very pleasant. We enjoyed the spotless two bedroom/two bath flat with fully stocked kitchen at a very reasonable rate. The free internet in the lobby and daily supply of breakfast food and snacks are a real plus, too. Totally recommend this hotel!

Great Apartment - Very Clean and lovely Reception Staff. HOWEVER if you are a light sleeper, you will be kept awake by everyone near to you by the minute they turn on their bathroom lights which start the fans in the bathroom - so NOISY! We had two very disturbed nights of sleep due to this. I probably would not stay here again due to this as I am a light sleeper! (I even heard the above occupants using the loo!) Great apartment, two double rooms, one en-suite. Secure parking for £6.50 a day. Fitted kitchen, comfy seating area. Quiet and warm. Very well equipped, exceptionally clean apartments. We were able to cook in the kitchen and enjoyed a very chilled christmas day without having to pay out high hotel prices for meals. It would be ideal for families. The walk up to Arthur's seat on xmas day was also really good fun, meeting many others on the same pilgrimage! This hotel is an astounding place to stay. The service was impeccable, but the accomodations were even beyond that.....2 full bedrooms one with on-suite.....and a 2nd bathroom as well. You arrive with a fully stocked refrigerator with breakfast items including a milk, juice, yogurt, soft cheeses, a loaf of bread, jams, coffee, tea, etc. The place immaculately clean, and it's within walking distance to Arthur's Seat, the Royal Mile, and Holyrood Palace. The Holyrood Aparthotel was fantastic accommodation in Edinburgh. The location is perfect, you can walk everywhere and it is so close to the Royal Mile. The apartment is brand new and the facilities were excellent. The food you are given for breakfast was very extensive and of very good quality. The staff were helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay there again.

It’s like having your own Flat in Edinburgh! My wife and 10 month old boy stayed here the first week of October. We could not have imagined a better experience. First of all, the entire facility is very clean, well lit, modern and comfortable. We had a 2BR 2BA unit on the 4th floor, looking out to Arthur's Seat and the park. We traveled to Edinburgh with 2 young children. We like staying in suites or apartments so that we can put the kids to bed and we can enjoy a movie and a glass of wine. With kids, it is just easier if you have more space! Somehow, I happened upon this apartment hotel through an internet search.
