Beautiful location, however not for the less mobile as a very steep slope to negotiate.
Food was poor and it appears if you are British you are put at the back of restaurant with no view and you have to share you table!!
We booked a sea view room, although I have no complaints about the room in fact it was very spacious, the balcony was very small and we had a side sea view, again all best view rooms appear to be allocated to other nationalities.
There is a wonderful bar area with terrace overlooking cable car and sea views, all extras and drinks are charged to your room, payable at end of holiday.
The town of Taormina is beautiful, I would not hesitate to return to this town again, sit in the town square of an evening and watch Etna smouldering (magical)
