Elecon Tourist Apartments are located in Polis Chrysochous which is only 5 minutes walk from the tourist centre with its restaurants and pubs away. The beach is only 350m away. The Apartmenthouse is family-run and offers all comfort of a hotel. There is a reception which is occupied 24 hours a day, a lobby with satelitte-tv, breakfast- and snackbar, a bar at the swimmingpool, a special pool for children. loading...

The Elecon Apartments are situated about 300M from the main square of Polis and about 1KM from the beach (but this is a nice walk and there is a beach bar as soon as you get there). The owners of the Elecon, Costa’s and Elenie( ELEnie CONstantine) also run the aptartments and bar.
Costa’s does also work at the local petrol station (to earn money to get air con fitted in apartments we were told)(now fitted) He also sorted us out with really cheap jeep hire, about 50% less that the normal local rate. We spent many a good evening with them at the apt. bar (they even got out the Cypriot version of "Moonshine" and we all ended up very drunk). The pool is small but adequate, but when we went in October the water was very cold as the sun is not on the water for very long due to shadows from the building. Plenty of places to eat and drink in Polis and a nightclub in Latchi down the road. All in all a quiet place to stay and relax with Paphos about C£20.00 taxi ride away. Don’t miss the Greek night in the hills, this one is actually a good one (most are rubbish as you are crammed in with poor quality food).
Talking of food, the bar snacks at the apartments were fine and the local Tavernas all served great food.
All in all a great place to stay, the family are all lovely and really helpful.

Hired car at airport, found Polis easily but going back to airport not very clear signs. Elecon family run,very friendly, nothing too much trouble,just ask. All in all a well balanced holiday! Cyprus wonderful, lovely happy people!
