Just had a week at the Caribe. What a fab hotel, clean, friendly, plenty of choice food wise, whether you are vegetarian, diabetic or not there is loads of choice. The sunbeds are a bit uncomfortable so do get something to put underneath your towel. No complaints... more

What a great hotel ! from FREDDYFOXBirmingham
Arrived at the hotel not nowing what to expect as we had only booked the week before(just to get away from the rain ) It was superb. Staff - Couldnt do enough and pleasant with it. Food -At least 6 choices at every meal, well presented,plenty of it,good quality. Tables kept clean and tidy at all times The Hotel was so clean you had to see it to believe it !! Rooms cleaned 6/7 fresh towels every day Kids , all ages, had things to do all day every day Being in our 60s and it being a large family hotel we did wonder but no it was superb.we shall return !

Just got back from the caribe and yet again had a brilliant time hotel was spotless staff were excellent . my only gripe was the evening meal which was,nt as good as last time as there were quite a lot of spanish guests so the food sometimes was a bit strange(dates wrapped in bacon) but if we didnt like what was on offer there are plenty of resturants in es cana ,the bar staff diego, roberto,rosa,said,jaun and vincente made our holiday always happy to help and polite entertainment was ok if you like to sit round at night ,but some of it was the same as in 2005 all in all this is probably the best 3 star hotel ive ever been in clean friendly and in a good position close to the beach we will definatley be going back

our short break in this 3 star hotel in Es Canar (next to Santa Eulalia) was just great spotlessly clean, lovely pool, choice of food was fine although dishes were not expensive - more chicken and fish less expensive cuts room and beds very comfortable with air con and safe for hire location was fine (about 150m from beach) staff were excellent - they did not fuss but would help whenever they could excellent place for families we liked the resort as well and the nearby (15min walk) beach at cala nova
Great hotel from madammedusa
Just returned from Ibiza after staying in Hotel Caribe and what an excellent hotel it is. It is only classed as a 3 star but i think it should be 4 star. It was very clean, the staff very friendly, the pool area superb, the rooms are freshly decorated with clean towels every day. The only two things i would say is that the entertainment is ok but not great and the food is very hit and miss, breakfast was fine but the evening meal was not so good. The salad bar is fine but the main dishes were quite greasy. Overall if i ever went back to Ibiza i would stay at Hotel Caribe everytime!!!

After our 35th holiday at the hotel caribe in escana ibiza we have returned home again happy with the hotel .so much so that we have booked again for next year .we can not praise the hotel high enough after its up grade last year,next year it is going to be a thomson hotel rated 3 star the staff are the most helpfull staff we have ever met. the resort has made a lot of improvements over the years all for the best.we think.resort and hotel well worth a try.

Stayed at the Caribe for a week in August 2006 with my husband, 2 children (7 & 5) and my Mother-in-law, and was overall very impressed with the Hotel Caribe. As this was not our first choice hotel we were a little apprehensive as booked last minute but the hotel rooms, pool area & restaurant were all immaculately clean. The rooms are cleaned and towels changed every day. The pool area is excellent, very spacious and the restaurant is well maintained. The food was not spectacular but plenty choice and we never had to wait for tables as we have experienced at other hotels in the Med. Reception staff were v attentive and the few minor problems we did encounter; room safe not operating; Extra pillows required; shower not working; were seen to immediately and without any fuss. Only 2 mins.walk away from Es Cana beach although being August it was very busy and had seaweed!! We travelled by Avis hire car (15-20 mins) to a fantastic beach at Cala San Vinent which was absolutley beautiful and worth it to get away from it all. Kids loved the Hotel Entertainment and although a bit repetitive meant we stayed in hotel more than usual, but would recommend for families with young children and teenagers. Enjoy!
Great expectations from critizer
The hotel you can't fault - the weather was fantastic, however, the resort is less than desirable. The (poxy) beach is very dirty and full of seaweed, stinks of dead fish and jelly fish. You can walk around the resort in around 15 minutes, the resort should be for over 60's wanting a peaceful holiday. Not for the likes of young people who love the hustle and bustle of Magaluf. The hotel reps were also less to be desired, they were very laid back - some of the excursions were a waste of money - in particular the Ibiza Town trip, which cost 76 euros for 5 people, we were basically taken to ibiza town and were dumped for 3 hours, with no sense of direction whatsoever!! Macdonalds in Ibiza Town was awful - to order a fillet meal was an ordeal and a half, but after a lot of huffing and puffing from the staff, we got our meal. theres only one night club, called Charlies, which is situated a five minute walk from the hotel. All in all, we will not be returning to Es Canar!! Magaluf here we come...........

we stayed at the caribe hotel for a week in may. we had a brilliant week. the hotel location is great ,five minutes from the beach and ameneties. the hotel is lovely and clean.the staff are very helpfull and friendly. the hotel restaurant is very spacious and air conditioned. and the food was superb.plenty of choice-something to please everybody. the pool area was lovely plenty of sun loungers.and the pool was cleaned thoroughly every evening. the reps were great did lots of activities for children and adults. and the entertainment was excellent. would recomend it to anybody. we will definately go back. mrs turner west yorkshire

Seven of us ages from 6mnths - 16 - 25 and 48 and 49 went to the caribe in June 2005 and we all had a great time, the room was clean , as well as the corridors. and the staff at the desk all spoke english. the pool was in a lovely setting away from the shade of the hotel plenty of beds around the pool. if you want to eat a lunch time you do not have to leave the hotel, the bar served a selection of hot and cold meals including pies.. the entertainment team who are all english worked hard during the day around the pool, and some evening they put on shows, or they also brought in entertainment from around Ibiza. the hotel is only walking distance to shops bars beach and public bus. you could also get a boat ride to ibiza town. We hired a jeep for 2 days it cost 80.00 we hired it near the beach front. and you have plenty of parking spce around the hotel. When we were thier it was full of english with only a few spanish people around, We loved it so much we are going again this June

Our family have been to the caribe 9 times and have booked again for next year. The staff are very friendly and the location is great. The pool is fabulous. The food is good, there is always something there you can eat. Overall we always have a great holiday at the caribe and wouldn't stay anywhere else.
