We have just returned from a two week holiday at the majestic and there were 6 of us staying there and we cannot praise it enough. The accommodation was excellent and the rooms were cleaned daily and linen and towels changed if not daily then every other day. The staff were friendly (especially tarik and ozz and the location of the hotel was excellent and resort fab. Would recommend to anyone and will definitely be going back.

Majestic was a lovely basic hotel. Staff were really friendly and helpful. The rooms were cleaned everyday and fresh towels each day. The breakfast was very basic, so we ended up having breakfast in one of the many cafes around most mornings.
The resort itself was perfect the beach was only 5 minutes away and there was never a problem finding a sun lounger. There was a variety of restaurants along the main street, we ate in a different one each night and all were very good.

Room was of good size basic in layout cleaned every day with fresh towels, breakfast was basic went to Hippyshake restaurant most mornings, good size pool, staff were friendly.
Ease of reach to town centre 5mins, blue lagoon 10mins, plenty to do in day time paragliding, scuba diving, micro light and very good beaches. there is also good day trips to go on 12 islands cruise, Olu Deniz bay cruise, numerous coach trips good place to go for bargain trips is altitude action on main street in the resort.
Eating out is easy with so many restaurants some good ones to try are The Olive Grove, The Lemon Tree, again Hippyshake, The Sultan Armen etc the list could go on. With numerous good bars in the evening catering for all tastes.
Getting about is easy by minibus called dolamus, taxis are ok but best to agree price for return journey will try to charge little extra.

We stayed at the majestic at the beginning of May 2005. The accommodation was a little shabby with cigarette burns on the bedding and mould on the wall near the bathroom. But the rooms were quite spacious. The breakfast was disappointing with a choice of Bread or tasteless cornflakes or Boiled eggs with Feta cheese and tomatoes mmmmm not!
The staff we found that there was a language barrier with some of them after asking for butter one morning and getting a blank look. The pool seemed to attract the flying ants so only managed one day by the pool getting irritated. On a plus point Olu Deniz is a wonderful place and the people are nice too.
A recommendation for eating at night would most definitely have to be Josephs, he really looks after his customers and the food is the best. The beach I would recommend would be the Suara where we only got charged 1 day for the sunbed 8 Turkish lira.
On a whole great holiday, disappointing accommodation.

Typical 2 star with very basic breakfast (don’t leave it too late or there is nothing left). We liked this hotel because the room was big and had a telly. Lovely grounds with free roaming chickens (beware the cock at sunrise!) with kiddies playground, pool with lots of loungers and only a couple of mins to walk to the main shopping and eating area. We didn’t like that the staff at reception were very unhelpful and the towels had holes in! There is only one towel each and the water was mostly just about lukewarm. We only had warm water twice and one day only one towel between us. Nice basic hotel but we will go back to the Karbel next time.

Arrived early morning and stayed by the pool for the rest of the day. Arrived for dinner that evening to be told we were not expected.
After a degree of scrapping about we were presented with a three-course meal consisting of sloup, which I assume was soup, a rice dish and some watermelon. We were the only family dining, so we decided to eat out after that experience. Headed for the beach the next day, and were picked up en route to be taken to a private beach.
The holiday transformed itself from there. Enes and Billy were really friendly and made the holiday worthwhile. We were picked up and dropped off at our hotel every day. The hotel was basic but the rooms were cleaned daily. I have given this holiday a 10/10 rating, not because of the hotel, because quite frankly.
I found the staff to be very unfriendly (unless you were a single white female with a average age of 15!), but because Enes and Billy made it one to remember. We are returning in Oct 05, but have opted to stay at the Tower Hotel.

This was the best holiday I ever had. When we arrived at the hotel I wasn’t to sure about it but as I was that tired I just wanted to sleep.
It was very warm in our room as the air conditioning was not that cool. When I was lying down for a sleep the sheets and quilt felt dirty so I just lay on top of them. The pool area was nice and the bar stall Tariq and Yohan were really nice. All staff were very pleasant.
Olu Deniz is a lovely resort, the beach was fantastic. The nightclub’s in near by resorts were brilliant especially time out bar. I had a fantastic holiday and will be going back again very soon.

This year I had the best holiday ever! I stayed at the Majestic hotel and it was excellent. Everyone was so friendly especially the barmen, Tarik, Mesut and Ozkan. If anyone is considering going to Turkey I definately recommend Olu Deniz as it is so beautiful. There are loads of fun day trips including Jeep Safaris, 12 Island cruises and the turtle beach, which includes going to a mud bath! I also recommend booking any of these trips with a nice man called ‘Bloody Gorgeous’! If you’re looking for a beautiful, calm and relaxing holiday this is the place to go.

My first impressions of the Majestic Hotel as I got off the coach were fantastic. Lovely grounds and friendly staff, I did like the chickens roaming free.
The rooms were basic, but were a vast improvement on the Greek hotels I am normally used to. The television and the air conditioning made it a little more comfortable.
The pool was small, but the surroundings made up for that. The pool bar is very lively also with friendly staff. The location was great also, only a five minute walk to the beach and the same to the town.
With this hotel and the fantastic resort of Olu Deniz and the blue lagoon, it made my holiday an unforgettable experience.

We’d never been to Turkey before but the people and place won us around on the first day.
Olu Deniz is a beautiful place and The Majestic is a lovely hotel with fantastic staff, (take a bow Mesut, Tarik, Ugur, Ozkan and Gulsum to name a few). There’s a newly built block at the hotel, which is super, and the older blocks are to be updated which will make it all a great standard.
Descending the mountain to Olu Deniz when we arrived was a beautiful sight at 7am on a Turkish morning and although there is nothing historic about the place it really doesn’t need anything as it is so picturesque. We were made to feel welcome as soon as we arrived and we made many Turkish friends (and some English) while we were there who we still keep in touch with.
I would recommend it to anyone who likes a relaxing, not too noisy, holiday. We shed tears when we had to leave and we plan to go back in September. We booked with Goldtrail and flew with Turkish airline Freebird and both were great. We loved it.

Went as a couple, the hotel was perfect for couples and families, because of the swimming pool, pool tables and table tennis. All the staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful, although with some there was a language barrier (but that’s probably mainly due to us not knowing much Turkish), the staff always tried their best though.
I agree with the comments about breakfast, there wasn't any variation, and if you turned up near the end of the breakfast time there was hardly anything left.
Restaurants and bars were a two minute walk away (if not less), the resort was lovely, would definitely recommend it for a relaxing holiday, and would go back!
