ok here goes,
hotel was very clean, hours spent on pool area each morning keeping it clean, shame you had to be down by 7am to make sure you got a sunbed for the day,
staff where polite but not overly friendly, day times where great but the everning were a bit of an anti climax, no where to lounge about most light off by 10pm unless you fancy the awfull shows,
food was ok ish, loads of it but after a week we were sick of the sight of the same dishes, 95% english guests so i think more uk food could have been offered, was glad to get home for a good old madras,
Olu Deniz is small and you cant go off for a walk as its wedged in a steep valley, shops are good beach is bit harsh all stones,
you can get canibis off chucky so dont bring you own
all in all it was worth the money and we really enjoyed it

Just back from Alize hotel, stayed two weeks,we had a fantastic time and met some fantastic people pity they only stayed one week. The hotel is spotless, cleaned every day.The poolside entainment[ERCAN]was very good throughout the day,at night it was okay but sometimes lacked enough people joining in.The first week the food was very bland and all tasted the same but did improve on the second week, more choice was needed.Eating out was allways an option with plenty of restaurants to choose from and good quality food.Pity about our last day when our hotel towels were stolen by a girl called sonya who had arrived with about 8 to 10 of her family, very cheeky lot but the hotel cannot be held responsible for them,I did manage to get the towels back from them.I would reccomend The Alize to anyone if the food stayed at the level it got to on our second week.

Wish we had stayed for 2weeks, Oudeniz is a beautiful place and the people are so nice, they dont hassle you and if you say no they leave you alone.
The Alize otel is very beautiful the rooms are spotless and are cleaned everyday including change of bedding and towels, balconeys are small but enough room to sit and have drink on whilst taking in the beautiful surroundings.
The entertainment was lively and fun and tried to include everyone, the only thing lacks is more variety on an evening to keep quests in the hotel, we found that we were going out on an evening for entertainment.
We met some lovely friends whilst on our weeks stay and this really made the holiday.
The down side to the Hotel Alize is the food, it boring had no flavour and all tasted the same but looked different colours, we were all inclusive but we went out to eat most of the week, there were not much choice of spirits you either drank Vodka, Gin or Raki and the miserable bar man (watch out for Him Tall and never smiled)would not make cocktails and kept you waiting at the bar before he served you, you really felt uncomfortable asking for a drink. There was plenty of choice in soft drinks so very good if you have children.
I would recommend a visit to Sea horse beach, free bus to and from hotel to beach, the beach is soft and very clear water, ideal for children.
Would go back to this hotel and place and would recommend this to anyone.

hotel alize is absolutely fantastic it is great!. the food is lovely but sometimes the flies ruin it but they almost never come . the waiters are so nice and friendly to the guests but sometimes interupt your meal.my room was nice and tidy but it was on the ground floor and got a view of chickens but i didn't mind.Erkan the main entertainer is so lovely along with the other entertainer.everynight in the amphitheatre, the entertainers have a show like a belly dancer,a comedy sketch show, music quiz, pub quiz,mr alize, miss alize( they are so hilarious!!!) and other events ,my favourite was the miss alize because my mum was a contestant and she came runner up in it. the slide is open 3-5pm and that never has long queues and anyone of any age can go on it. at 10:30am they do water arobics and at 11am they play darts and the winner gets a free cocktail but the 2nd place has to do a belly dance around the pool.they also play water polo at 3pm and the loser team also has to do a belly dance around the pool.also at 3pm ice cream is open until 5pm and it is delicious! . we met some friends there but 2 of them got ear infections .advice:bring ear plugs for the pool or get swim ear drops that is what i brought and i was fine . the shows always start at 10pm and the mini disco for children starts at 9-10pm.i went to turkey while it was my birthday and the hotel made me a beautiful cake. they have volleyball at 11pm staff against guests and that is so fun but it can get very competitive.i think hotel alize is fantastic, i would definitely recomend it!!!

The hotel Alize is a supurb place to stay. My party of six had a wonderful time with one only one complaint...the food.
Despite being an open buffet it was to be blunt bland but having said that everything was always fresh. The barbequed food was on times not properly cooked, okay for beef but not chicken. In fairness I have spoken to a few people who have been all inclusive in turkey and hotels that serve tasty food seem rare. It would seem that they have catered for an east european market in the past who like their food that way and so we western interlopers havent yet been taken into consideration fully. A shame because the food they served was beautifully prepared it has to be said. They are still learning what we like but they have sorted the sweet trolley bang on. Oh and one tip TAKE YOUR OWN BUTTER!
That aside the Alize is fab nestled at the far end of the village it is quiet and peaceful most of the time. In the morning as the village is in a cove the sun takes its time hitting it. It was a sight to be laying there watching the paragliders go over. The entertainment team are great in the day but do miss the point slightly in the night with their idea of comedy sketches and dancing, should you stay on site in the evening. The rooms are clean, water hot and the air con is a blessing. It was 54 degrees on one day we were there you see. The wonderful pictures you see in the brochures are really what the place is like 24/7. Tv however if you watch that kinda stuff on holiday once again caters for east europeans all you get in english is BBC world and SKY news. We loved it there overall and if they get the catering sorted out would return without hesitation. I would recommend you take a laptop for the kids because they only have one PC for guests and the q does get pretty long on times but they have wi fi so happy days, take your own.
Olu Deniz is a great place to stay not to busy, just about right for a relaxing holiday with plenty of sights to see. Take my advice go to Pioneer Travel for your excursions and demand to be on a guide called Arti's bus. He speaks good english and from the moment you get on the bus he is telling you what you are going to be doing and seeing and with his excentric style brings the whole experience to life somehow that I dont think I have ever seen before. He loves what he does, has pride in his country and it shows.
Thank you Arti.
We did trips with other companies including Pioneer but not with him and it just wasnt the same. They just didnt live it...if that makes any sense.
The beach is a layer of sand then stone then pea gravel. Once at the waters edge you sink into this gravel, cant call it sand because its not.
The turks are a hard working friendly helpful people by enlarge, they are a little hard with their hasstling but as most brits just ignore them are slowly getting the point we will only stop if we see something we like and no ammount of banter will change that.
You have to remember they work 7 months of the year and take the rest off so every lira they make in those months count. Just one other thing you may need to know women seem to have no place in their society whatever. It is Asia after all.
- Advice: Take jelly shoes for the sea...vital because the sand and stones on the beach will cut your feet.
- Activities: Shadows bar, turtle beach, blue lagoon and not forgetting Pioneer Travel with the wonderful Arti!!!

Having never stayed in al all-inclusive before I was aprehensive about what to expect. As it worked out cheaper to book this way, we went ahead. I was slightly put off by the wristband we had to wear but soon got over that! The pool, although cold, was family friendly and the kids loved the slide. The food was superb, waiters brilliant (apart from one which had a habit of following us around). We have stayed in Oludeniz/Hisaronu many times before and continue to do so many times each year. Its brilliant for children, adults and teenagers too. Lots of clubs in Hisaronu (just up the mountain...10/15 minute bus ride from oludeniz) but but all friendly and safe. If you consider paragliding, use Sky Sports. Have flown with them about 10 times and always safe, professional and reassuring!

I spent one of my most amazing holidays in Turkey. It had been, maybe, the fourth time i had ever been abroad so i had little really to compare it to, but still will be one of the highlights i will remember.
we arrived at about 5 am and being tired from the excitement and flight we really wanted to get sorted very quickly, it was a family holiday, between four of us so organisation was important. on arrival we were met by one of the twins at the front desk - very confusing if you had and issue but then tried to resolve it later, but still highly entertaining when we found out. we quickly signed in and luckily had our rooms available. this meant that we could quickly put our cases in our room and go straight out to sun bathe while our parents unpacked. the sun was amazing there, as at about half 5 it was already warm and very sunny, much to my delight as i had wanted to go away mainly because of the heat!
the rooms were very clean as well as the pool side. (cleanliness was amazing due to brilliant cleaning staff, both efficient and trustworthy, especially if you lost your key or locked it in your room - even if an afternoon nap was required!)
the service was good and was very pleased with the waiting service except one member, but if you visited you would quickly find out which one that was!
the management was questionable as there was some odd rules for the staff.
the staff didn't seem to be allowed to talk on friendly and close terms with the guests, especially if they were young blonde females like myself.
this meant that on one occasion a members of staff was fired, and made the other members of staff slightly wary.
i made some great friends with the waiters however, and after they finished shifts we went out into olu deniz for nights out in the local clubs and bars. this was definitely one of the highlights of the holiday as it meant that i could go to the best places in town straight away without having to explore myself. the parties sometimes didn't start until half two, but could not be heard from the hotel. this was in one of the clubs called Crusoes (i think) and was often a foam party (always wear old clothes)!
there is also an amazing photographer, called Martin, by the pool side who worked very hard every single day. he was always smiley and made time for my small conversation, although he spoke amazing english. he did a photo shoot for my family, which i am extremely pleased with, it would create a great portfolio for me as a model ;) joking, but seriously i loved the pictures he took of us all, and everyone commented on how lovely they were when i got home. a lot of families or groups of friends opted for this as i noticed throughout my stay, and seemed to be very successful.
the food at the hotel was lovely, as my family and i are already used to eating foreign food due to the dishes cooked at home, but i couldn't complain. if there was something missing, a waiter was always on hand to help, which was extremely pleasing.
some however spoke little english and may have been a problem for a few seconds, but one of the waiters Emre, only about 16!! but still extremely helpful! still speak to him now i am in england.
the bar men were also lovely. i have seen some comments which complained about them but they were always very smiley and chatty with me, sometimes a little tired due to their long hours, but nothing a little bit of banter couldn't cheer them up with. They are also rather strict on underage drinking after they find out the age of your child. they often stay up until about 4 - 5 am in the morning, when i returned from a night out once or twice they were always willing to talk. this was definitely a great aspect of the staff commitment.
the pool and pool side entertainment was brilliant. the pool was regularly cleaned, and so always crystal clear. the pool side entertainment mainly led by Erkan was fantastic. he encouraged aqua aerobics darts and kids games as well. the morning call was a shock to start with, but after a few nights it was a routine people settled into. after a long night clubbing also you may find you miss this, and maybe breakfast if you sleep in!! but food is always available. if the main restaurant isn't open with the usually selection a snack bar was also available.
the guests at the hotel were also lovely. as people swapped around, coming and going it was still easy to make friends and i made about 17 - 18 friends this holiday which were all guests in the hotel, not to mention the waiters and guests from other hotels. this meant a great atmosphere through out each day either because of group activities or individual activities we made. there was always someone to be with no matter what time you were awake until, or when you got up. on a few occasions we had other guests from the hotel stay in our particular room and we swapped, this didn't seem to bother anyone except a very annoying door man.
i couldn't fault the olu deniz hotel and staff, everything meant i had an amazing holiday, i even cried on the way home!!!!
i can't wait to go back in october for a short break and i'm sure it will still be amazing.
- Advice: it was a beautiful location, and some amazing activities outside the hotel.

Just returned from a week at the Alize. Room, hotel and pool were very clean with daily room service. There is a great water slide open for 2 hrs in the afternoon. Staff were on the whole very friendly. Food was good, but very repetitive, however plenty of choice for all tastes. I wouldn't recommend this hotel if you are looking for peace and quiet though! There is daily entertainment at approx. 10.30am & 3pm with loud music and an entertainer arranging pool games & dart matches etc... He was however, really funny & by the end of the week we really enjoyed his enthusiasm and funny nature - the kids really loved him and on the days that the adults just wanted to be left alone, he arranged games for the kids instead. There is also nightly entertainment with a kids disco at 9pm and various acts, comedy & quizzes at 10pm - you really have to go with the flow and at the end of the week I came to enjoy these nightly activities - "if you can't beat them, join them"!! would be my moto!!! Even I found myself getting up & joining in with the "Alize Clap Dance"!!!!
Olu Deniz itself is beautiful, but very expensive - we didn't go into Fethiye ourselves, but were told that things were much cheaper there. Olu Deniz is the worlds capital for "genuine fake goods" and we got some really good bargains on clothes & handbags as it was the end of the season. Weather was fantastic, although it isn't normally as hot in October.
Overall I really enjoyed the week, but wish I had been aware of the noisy entertainment beforehand.

If your ideal holiday is to share your meals with every flying insect in Turkey predominantly 'wasps' be served by waiters whos average age is 15yrs, with an evident ignorance of basic food practise / hygene and to be ignored by bar staff who are more concerned with texting friends or communicating with female guests of the more valuptuous shape and to be entertained by a wannabe transvestite who to be fair was the only member of staff who wore a smile (work that one out)to be served repetitious foods that were close to being of a similiar standard to that served up at battersea dogs home then this hotel is for you. On an all inclusive basis the drinks are extremely limited in both choice and quality, the snack bar is run by a hoody who specialises in the same burgers ?pizza day in day out and if you want your kids to enjoy an ice cream, make sure your in the que between 3-4pm thats the window of opportuinty for a portion that would not fill a tooth with a cavity and its the same time as the much publicised water slide that for some reason only opens at 3pm, same time as the kids want ice-cream and to play, work that out. If you want to play table tennis or pool take your own bats /ques etc, the bats were rounded wooden planks no rubber backing as that old and worn, the one qu was available for 2 tables as others were split or had no ends, the darts were taped with selotape and the board hung off a tree, next to the childrens play area. The theatre is as far away from the bar as you can get down a steep flight of stairs, but beware of the cable running at the top connected to the speaker, ideal trip wire for the less suspecting victim. B eprepared to be awoken at 10.00am to the sound of Good morning, Good morning similar to good morning viatnam, but at full volume and as corny as He-di hi.
For those who gave this hotel a good review then either your expectations are very low or we got an off week, but never again. The main gripe being the lack of hygene in the very poor restaurant and staff who wore a smile if there pocket was lined.I have been t many all inclusives and this one is by far the worst in all areas. My advice spend elsewhere.

Me and my partner have been home from the Alize hotel for 2 days now and we're already planning next year to go back there. the flights with thomas cook was horrible, we left on a bank holiday monday and was delayed by 1 and a half hours due to a "minor" technical fault and there was only one engineer in the whole airport, when finally arriving at the hotel it was aboout half 6 in the morning in which they had no rooms available until people checked out at 12 in the afternoon, so we were shown to a room downstairs which i assume is for staff to get their head down on breaks, they told us that it was only temporary for a couple of hours and to get some sleep. As soon as 12 oclock came we went to reception and asked about our room, which the manager was there to apologise to us in personal and give us a free safe for the duration of our stay.
We were then taken to our room which was basic but more than enough, a double bed (we were used to being give two single pushed together at other hotels) shower, air con, tv (didn't really get used) and a small balcony but we were on the bottom floor so was used as our main door to the swimming pool that was only meters away.
Food could be abit hit and miss at times, but there was always chips, salads, pasta's and some kind of bbq'd meat every evening and every morning they did omlettes cooked infront of you. some of the labels were abit confusing especially the dish labelled "mixed stuff" it made me laugh anyway :D at 3pm everyday there was free ice cream and between 10pm and 12 pm was a late night snack bar which did burgers. The waiters were great, worked very long hours and waited on your every need, took your finished plates and everytable was always cleaned well.
The drinks were great, the bar was open from 10am-12pm (stayed open till 2am but you had to pay) the beer of choice was effes and then i'm not too sure, there really wasn't a list of what was included in the all inclusive but i'm assuming it's all the usual types of spirits but local brands.
The entertainment team were phenomenal, ercan, buse (pronounced bus-say), max and franko were what made this holiday so good, some people may see them as pushy and in your face as they were always around asking you to take part in things like water aerobics, darts, pool games and water polo. if you didn't want to take part all you had to do was say no nicely and they'd leave you alone, I played water polo most days and was great fun, sometimes if there were not enough players max would come in the pool and play. If you have kids then this is defineatly the hotel for you, the entertainers would always take the kids down to the disco after the evening meal so you could spend some time in the bar or even go down and join them. The evening entertainment was great, ranging from inside stuff like bingo (cheap to play and could win boat trips and paragliding tickets) and britains got talent to outside entertainers coming in like traditional turkish dancers and a fire eater/ sword eater! People say that they try and sell you trips all the time, this is untrue, ercan owns a company that does trips and tours and he tells you bluntly that if you would like to book one with him then talk to him and he'll get you a good deal, but he never pushes you to do anything.
On the hotel site there is a shop which sells crisps, sweets, lilo's, water guns, ciggarettes, drinks. a hairdresser, barber, beutician ( these cost but are good prices, my partner got acrylic nails done for £20, apparently this is cheap but i'm male so i've no idea lol) also they have a photographer called martin, he's go around taking photo's of people in the pool, playing the pool games and during the evening entertainment, he's not pushy and doesn't expect you to buy what he's taken. on our second to last night we asked him to take some photo's of us when it was dark, he then loaded them up on his computer by the bar and lets you see them all and pick which ones you like, he'll then tell you how much it would cost for them and if thats too much you can take out photo's you dont like, we had 3 of the photo's which cost us £15, i'd of probably paid more because he is amazing at his job, also he can put them onto cd's or memory cards if you want to print them out yourself.
The hotel in general is amazing i cant really fault it one bit, if you get a spare half an hour go to reception and ask them if they have a spare upstairs room free that you can look around, their beautiful with all updated decor and widescreens tv, apparently all the rooms at the hotel are going to be updated like these which i hope they will do.
The resort was also great, everyone is friendly and yeah they always pester you to come eat at their restaurant or have a drink at their bar or go on one of their excursions but aslong as your polite they're not bothered, a bar which we enjoyed is called shadows bar, the staff are great and if your lucky they will do a sparkle show with fireworks which is amazing.
