Been visiting Sharm now for 7 years and have stayed at the Tropicana Grand Azure 10 out of ten and the Oriental 5 out of ten and the Royal Albatros Moderna 10 out of ten. Visited 10 times.
Great service with lots of varied food to please all exept the die hard McDonalds and Kfc riff raff brigade that insist on wearing shorts and pathetic footy shirts to dinner, You can spot them a mile away.
Great resort as its too large to be a hotel.
VISIT THIS RESORT AS SOON AS YOU CAN.

My brother and I went for 1 week here and it was definatly well worth it! Staff was very friendly&helpful. Place was really clean, not to mention our room was cleaned everday day, they had a 24hr service which was great and good security.
Location was perfect it was only approx 15/20 min to the old market, however there was a free shuttle servicevia the hotel
only bad thing I can say about this place is that excursions with the hotel was a rip off, so make sure you check out the stores outside of the hotel as prices are half of that! and food was more or less the same but we ate out almost every day anyway.
Overall an amazing experience and totally worth it!

My husband and myself have been staying at this hotel for 6years running and enjoy it everytime we visit..
The staff are very friendly and always make us feel very very welcome indeed.
We have seen huge improvements on this hotel over the years and i believe it is still doing further improvements. We are just looking at booking another holiday in the next couple of months. We cannot wait!!
We always stay in a good size room which is spotlesley clean. The drinks fridge gets topped up everyday,fresh towels and room & linen cleaned.. Sometimes we find a nice towel swan or something on our bed.
Food is always nice(dependant on peoples tastes of course)Such a huge variety of hot & cold food along with loverly deserts or fruit.
All in all i love this holiday..Peoples tastes are different and i am a fussy person with food and hygene. Never had a tummy upset their yet or dirty room...
Enjoy it, its a wonderful place and country with wonderful people... :)

Fantastic hotel - our 6th one in Sharm and by far the best. They really try to give you value for your all inclusive instead of trying to get you to spend more like most of the hotels. Lots of extras that you don't usually find, like a specialist coffee bar for cappucinos, iced coffe, latte etc and a crepe bar at teatime. Ice cream all day and free mineral water in your fridge. Also some real drinks in the evening - I managed to get a drinkable mojito! Loads on sunbeds available all day long and as there's a fantastic kids pool, the rest of the pool areas are nice and quiet. Also an adults only pool. Pools were very cold though, except for one small heated - but that's because of the time of year. Long walk to snorkel - longest pier I've ever seen as the reef is really wide at this point. Live bands in the evening in various bars - makes such a change to have good evening entertainment as we don't do the animation shows. Good food and loads of variety and great restaurant management, but dreadful wine - red and rose were undrinkable even by Egypt standards! That was the one down side of this fantastic hotel. Can't wait to go back!!

just returned after a great weeks holiday at the albatros
excellent hotel in a great setting especially enjoyed being able to snorkle of the hotel jetty
staff polite and helpful even though we were there during
the recent problems in Egypt

Stayed at this hotel for 7 nights in Jan 2011 it was brilliant rooms, service, staff food everything was just right including the weather will be back next year great to have some winter sunshine, have been to Sharm before but Royal Albatros was far better we love the all inclusive even though we dont really drink keep up the good work, Have never wrote a review before on a hotel but thought this one deserved it,

great hotel ,large kingsize beds,5 food halls+ 2 a la carte,massive pools lots or beds with matresses.lacking in slides for the older children but great small children pools.staff all very nice food is plentifull and lots of choice from the 5 food halls .weather far too hot for us the winds were very hot so even sat in the shade there was no were to escape the heat. i got a mild upset belly and that was very painfull1 a lot of other guests had servere bell ache and were stuck in there rooms for 5 days! but a lot of shalm s hotels had the same problem! would defo go back even so but in a different month!the area outside the hotel is far away from anywhere and not safe to walk any were as all the beggars were sleeping out side the hotel and forever asking for money or food! this is the last hotel in sharm and stands next to a desert! which is why there so many beggars!wev had a great time very relaxing if you dont want any thing else but relaxation! michelle keegan (tine from coronation st) was holidaying there with her family so if it was ok for celebs than it was ok for us

myself and chris have just arrived home from the hotel we found the experience very enjoyable,
staff friendly and very helpfull,
A big thank you to bass who served our drinks, and the staff member who cleaned our room every day all staff at reception and security are very good and helpfull .
will be going back next year,plenty of food and drink,and beach loverly.

Was looking so forward to relaxing when we arrived at the hotel as me and my 2 children an my mother had been traveling for 13+ hours from leaving home!On arrival there were people everywere trying to check in there must have been 10 staff behind reception just flapping we were told to take a seat whilst they sorted out people,oh we arrived about 7pm,we were then told to go the restaurant and eat and it would be sorted when we come back ha ha not a chance we actualy got a room at 10pm my we were all exhausted.The next day we were more refreshed the waitors an bar staff make this hotel as they do anything to help you Management need training in customer service.On the 3rd day i was asleep in bed an felt my toe being bitten thought it was mosquito until all next day it got bigger like a blood blister i said to my mum it was like a tick bite on the when she later after dinner pulled her sheet back on the bed the mattress was crawling with very large ants when reception were told they were not interested and said they had no other rooms and would put another mattress in our room dont think so we sat in reception until 3.30am until they got us another room or a flight home i asked! we got another room this is no way a 5*i explained that if this happened in england enviromental health would brought in the manager was rude and ignorant spoke to general manager he was calm and not happy about situation offered me another 7 days NO thanks couldnt wait to get home,the MTS rep was ignorant and not interested showed him video of the ants wasnt bothered!would go back to egypt butnot this hotel.

Me and my fella came here for a week new year 2009 without our 6 kids , it was reccomended by a tour operator online, i read mixed reviews so was a bit aprehensive..
No problems checking in , staff were very helpful , very clean ,def not a 5 star bathroom ( im a decorator so am a bit fussy in that department ) but it was cleaned every day and our main room was nice n big -only drawback was we had 2 beds pushed together . ( they were big beds though )
Food i thought was very good , especially the oriental restaurant where we ate the most, pools were cold - i didnt swim much but there is a heated pool which doesnt get that much sun, we didnt see much entertainment but were ready for bed by 11 anyway.
NEW YEAR ... WHAT CAN I SAY, what a fantastic effort was made -i was so gobsmacked with the tent which held 1700 people from all over the world , all seated to their nationalities ,we had a great table of english guys n girls , ok grease was crap ( 2 stages of entertainment )but the food , the cake displays , bread , carvings and statues were like nothing id ever seen. It was being set up long before we arrived . 1st class .
To sum it up , we loved it so much were going back for 2 weeks this christmas with the 3 youngest but to the aqua blu water park hotel.
