Staff at the Calimera are friendly; however tips are expected for the smallest thing so be prepared to take extra money. Also haggle when buying goods.
The hotel itself is very clean however I would rate this 3* and not 4* as was originally advertised due to the food choice and appearance of the hotel.
It has its own beach however don’t expect to swim as it’s too shallow and full of sea urchins.
Also be prepared to be pestered by people selling trips we did this and booked a trip to Ras Mohammed national park to snorkel and was expected to rent a life jacket, as the boats don’t have them and again people were jumping aboard trying to sell.
The location of this hotel is miles away from Naama bay and old Sharm.
Our rep abdou was fantastic. We enjoyed our holiday however it cost more than we planned because everyone wanted money.
It can be as cheap or expensive as you like. Beware at Sharm airport a lot of people were being charged for excess luggage it was questioned whether the scales were accurate, as almost everyone was charged for 1 or more kg. One lady emptied her suitcase and it was still over.
I returned from the Calimera...

I returned from the Calimera Royal Moderna on the 9th Jan.
We had a great holiday. This is the second time we have stayed here, would not rate the hotel as a 5* but a good 3 - 4*.
The staff are very good and they all work very hard.
Beds changed daily, clean towels in room daily, beach towels daily, and hairdryer in all rooms, TV has English channels and a film channel.
I have booked my flights to go back but would like to try another hotel; I would go back to Calimera but just fancy a change.

I have just returned from staying at the Calimera for a month.
I was lucky enough to be there for the New Years Eve celebrations, which I can honestly say, that they know how to put on a great night.
The overall holiday was fantastic from the food, cleanliness of the hotel, and the friendliness of the staff, all in all a great experience.
The weather was lovely the whole time I was there with the exception of a few windy days, which if you got a wind break on the beach you still managed to feel how hot the sun really was.
The boat trip to the Tiran Islands where you stop and do 3 different dives in different locations was great, quad bikes are a must if you want to have a adrenalin rush and see some great sights at the same time.(neither trips are expensive).
All in all the holiday was great and the staff helped make that happen (without giving you the feeling they are only being nice to get a tip).
I am looking forward to my next visit to this hotel later in the year.

We were in this hotel in January 2007. Before you arrive at the hotel, be prepared for what can only be described as organised chaos at Sharm airport!
The biggest problem we had was when we arrived at the hotel at 17:30. We were asked to sit in the lobby and wait. After 30 minutes, they told us the room was not quite ready and it should only be a few more minutes.
However by 19:00, we were getting a bit fed up, and went back to the desk. We think that they forgot about us as we were given the key right away.
However, the rest of the holiday was good; this small glitch was the only major one.
We agree with some of the other reviewers that this is not a 5 star hotel. Our bathroom was a little on the shabby side and needed some TLC, but the room itself was OK.
The hotel areas are all spotlessly clean, and the service from the all male staff was very good.
The food is also very good, with different themes in the main restaurant each evening, such as German, Italian and English nights. At lunch time there are three places to eat, all of which are good.
The entertainment is somewhat amateur and is geared up for the Germans really.
The main pools are very nice and clean, it was a shame that the water temperature was only 14 C and so it was too cold to swim. There is a heated pool, which is good but was full of Russian kids at certain times - not a problem though.
The walk along the jetty is good - do not turn round and look back until you get to the end - the view is superb. The sea is shallow right up to the reef where the ship wreck is and looked very inviting. But the foam and scum along the shore put us off from going in.
They offer a glass bottom boat trip over Naama Bay, which is good, and the water was warm enough to swim. However, be warned- DO NOT purchase the DVD that they take of your trip as it is complete and utter rubbish and is a rip off. Ours in now in the bin, so you have been warned.
We gave the hotel 8 out of 10 as we thought the bathroom was shabby and there was not always enough hot water for a shower.
You may have a better room than we had, if so, have a nice holiday.

Just returned from a 3-night break at the Calimera. Fabulous!
A bit chaotic at check-in, but everything else was spot on. Incredibly clean, fab selection of food and wonderful staff. They work long hours for little pay, so tipping is greatly appreciated.
The evening entertainment is pretty dire at the hotel. There's a resident singer in the Lobby Bar and Showtime in the theatre at 21.00hrs every night. Worth a laugh!
There's also the Titanic Disco which stays open till the last person drops! Drinks are chargeable after 24.00.
You need to book the shuttle bus into Naama Bay the day before. Check out the Hard Rock Cafe for an unforgettable night out and the fruity Hubbly Bubbly pipe is a must-do!
The hotel seemed to be mostly Northerners and Russians and everyone got along just fine. Must be something to do with all those free cocktails!
Overall an amazing holiday. I highly recommend it.

If like me you've read the low ratings given to this hotel by a few individuals. Please just ignore them and prepare yourself for an excellent holiday.
Sorry this review is a litle short and sweet but all the great bits have been mentioned before!
It's far more like a genuine 5 star than any other Egyptian 5 star I've stayed in over the years.
This may not be quite be the same as a 5 star in London but it's certainly better than any 5 star I've stay in whilst in Egypt in the past.
So pack your bags and get ready for a fantastic bargain break. You'll love it!

I've just read some of the reviews on here and felt I had to add something to them.
I have just returned from the most amazing 2 weeks of my life!!
This Hotel is fantastic, I cannot fault one thing about it at all! The food was amazing with a HUGE choice at every meal, there was always something for the kids and even the fussiest eaters.
We did not get a tummy bug, and neither did anyone we spoke to at our hotel - however guests we met from other hotels were very poorly! The hotel proudly displays a food hygiene and safety certificate in the lobby and all restaurants and I personally think that they earned every letter on there.
That said though, it pays to be careful with tap water, fruit etc - brush your teeth in bottled water (2 LARGE free bottles in fridge everyday - or free on AI from any bar) and carry anti bacterial hand wash with you.
The staff in the hotel were fantastic - friendly, helpful and really nice people = drinks filled up before you have even looked at them! Our room was always spotless and cannot fault anything re cleanliness at all.
If I had to think of a complaint it would only be that the hotel is a little far away from Naama Bay (resort centre) - that said though it makes it a very relaxing and quiet area and the bars on site are great!
The people that have mentioned about being hassled and bothered from people trying to sell things... they are only doing it so that they can earn the money to feed their family -a firm no is all it takes to make them leave you alone!
It is a foreign country and unlike Spain, or Malta, or Butlins the way that their culture works is different - foreigners are seen as rich and as such they will want to sell you things - it is a fair assumption that we are rich because unlike them we do have the money to leave our countries for pleasure.
The trips to the pyramids are an absolute must and the diving is amazing - if you stay here there is a jetty on the beach that you can snorkel off but the water is shallow even when the tide is in - I recommend that you take one of the boat trips out to the national park or tiran island - take an underwater camera too - it is amazing.
I would definitely definitely visit this hotel and Egypt again.

Me and my boyfriend have just come back from a week in Sharm el sheikh. I read some of the reviews on this website before I went...I would like say that the hotel is 5* standard it should be rated higher for the people that work there alone, the staff are very friendly.
The hotel is very clean and excellent service, the food is lovely. Yes there is Germans and Russians but there friendly too if you give them a chance. Also those who complain about that are silly don’t go to a foreign country and moan that everyone is foreign and not English.
Also when it comes to food live a little, Egyptian food is nice, what do you want fish and chips. If you do, then stay in England.
To those who haven’t been make sure you do scuba diving its excellent, it was my first time and I was nervous, the people from the diving Centre made me feel safe and I loved it, they are very good and friendly (there based on the beech for the hotel royal modern).
Also if you want to book excursions there a Italian man in the hotel Francesca has reasonable and very nice we done the quad biking and dolphins through him. Also we booked our trip to Cairo through Med hotels and there good too.
One thing I would advise though if you go out of the resort to take lots of tissue with you some places don’t have it or want to charge you for it.
Most of all enjoy your holiday we did it’s the best ever!!!!

We arrived at Sharm El Sheikh Airport and made out own way to the Calimera. As many people have remarked the taxi drivers are quite aggressive but if you politely stand up to them they'll back down. They will rip you off if you let them get away with it though, but we were a bit tired and keen to get to the bar at (almost) any cost so paid £20 to get to the hotel. We could have got them lower but couldn't be bothered to really argue. The taxi driver was clearly a fan of Formula One since he did a passable impression of Michael Schumacher, touching 120km/hr on the straights. Normally that wouldn’t bother me, but the 10-year-old Toyota Camry he was driving had busted springs and cornered like a cow. Roundabouts are there only for guidance (in the loosest possible sense) and at one point we felt like we'd stepped onto a stock-car track. Scaring pedestrians was also a hobby of the driver (he was very good at it to be fair) so it was with a great sense of relief that we made it to the hotel alive.
Having read the reviews thoroughly before booking, we had a good idea of what to expect and we weren't disappointed. Anyone expecting the five-star treatment might have felt a little cheated but then perhaps they should have read the reviews beforehand? It's certainly a good three (and a half star) hotel.
Without exception, we found the staff to be courteous helpful and diligent. Some reviewers have mentioned surly staff, but that wasn't our experience at all. They were always friendly and efficient and went out of their way to help. And that was before you'd tipped them - after tipping you never had an empty glass. We got chatting to one of the good English speakers amongst them (and most have enough English to make yourself understood) and he told us that they work 16 hour days, 7 days a week for seven week stretches, then get a week off to visit their families. Perhaps it's not surprising that some of them might have been surly to rude tourists on occasion.
The hotel was mostly full of Russians and Germans although there was a sizable contingent on Brits so as not to feel too much in the minority. A number of the Germans seemed intent on promoting racial stereotypes by claiming the sun loungers first thing in the morning and pushing in at the bar, but fortunately they were few and far between.
Our room was large, clean and well equipped with a small balcony overlooking a small pool. The room was cleaned and tidied every day and a fresh 2 litre bottle of water left in the fridge each time. Clean towels were provided daily as well. The main hotel buildings were all spotlessly clean and well-maintained. The bar areas were well-staffed and the tables cleared as soon as they became available.
For evening entertainment there was the cabaret but not a lot else. Be sure to bring a pack of playing cards or similar because whilst there's usually something going on it's not necessarily geared towards Brits (remember most of the hotel is Russian and German). If you wanted to catch the cabaret, you needed to be seated on the main balcony early in the evening, but if you missed it one night you'd be able to catch the same act the next! The large outdoor amphitheatre was used on a couple of occasions. We caught the dance extravaganza (!), which was quite good considering it's a hotel not a theatre. Their "Lord of the Dance" routine wasn't quite up to Michael Flannery's standards (thankfully) but it wiled away an hour or two.
There are also billiard and pool tables to hire and a table-tennis table as well. There's even a small gym for those tourists who don't know how to relax...I did see a couple of people in there using the equipment so it all seemed to work but it was definitely the quietest room in the place. The hotel projected a football match onto a wall in the main building as well, so ardent fans could catch the important games. There's also an internet room with three pcs for an additional hourly charge.
The Titanic Disco opens at 11pm and closes - I don't know when, when you fall over probably. It was packed on the first night, but sadly never again. The Russian girls like to dance and they're really good at it! Single guys take note though...the gorgeous Russian girls (and there were plenty) were all attached. Hey ho.
The pools were uniformly spotless and cleaned daily. The Activity pool seemed quite busy. If there were likely to be a shortage of loungers anywhere it would be there. The towels were out in force from 7:30 onwards so you'd have to be an early riser if you want a good position at the poolside. The Inactivity pool was our favourite - quiet with poolside bar and staffed by the most helpful and friendly of all the helpful friendly Egyptians in the hotel. The only downside to all the pools was that swimming was prohibited after six pm, although it should be noted that at this time of the year it was dark by then anyway. I noticed that the sign by the poolside bar, showing the permitted bathing hours, had been altered - I assume to reflect the early dusk. Underneath the chalked "18:00" it read "20:00", so I expect during summer you'd be able to swim later into the evening.
It's a three minute walk through the hotel grounds to the private beach, where we found a good beach bar and restaurant (simple food only though) and plenty of loungers along the shore. The beach is excellent and ideal for kids in that the water is no more than two and a half feet deep out from the beach for close to half a mile. Be sure to bring some water-proof sandals though, because the coral is painful under foot. I can also vouch for the fact that the black spiny urchins have a nasty sting to them, but they were a long way out so kids should be relatively safe. The hotel allows a few 'touts' on the beach but they were always polite and even took "no" for an answer (a pleasant experience when compared to the touts of Tenerife and the like). There was even a guy selling English newspapers and magazines wandering about from time to time.
Food and drink in our opinion were excellent. Sure, it's not five-star fare, but this isn't a five star hotel by European standards. There was always plenty of everything and a very wide selection. It was all well-cooked and well-presented so we had no complaints. To the ignorant 'Little Englander' who loudly complained, "I could have brought my own Pedigree dog-food" - go home, burn your passport and don't display your xenophobic ignorance abroad ever again. The world doesn't need people like you in it carrying a British passport. Food was available at a couple of locations even after the restaurants had closed. There was a small snack cart serving food through til midnight in the main lobby, varying each evening with items such as freshly cooked crepes through to kebab-style savories. The pool bar next to the Activity pool also served food through to midnight so you needn't go hungry at any time.
Many of our friends asked us if we were concerned about the bomb attacks that have occurred in Egypt. We weren't and it was clear that the Egyptian authorities are working hard to protect the tourist trade. Security at the hotel was tight but unobtrusive. If you looked hard enough, you could see the guards patrolling the boundary of the hotel grounds. We felt secure at all times, although that might have been different if we'd ventured out. However with just the one week's holiday we didn't feel the need to do that and were happy to simply chill out within the confines of the hotel resort.
On the last day we had to vacate the room by midday but Maria, the gorgeous blonde Russian receptionist, found us a room to shower in so we could catch the last few rays of the holiday and not be covered in sunscreen on the flight home. It was just this kind of service that epitomized the holiday for us. Everyone bent over backwards to make our stay more comfortable and seemed genuinely interested in ensuring that we enjoyed our time there.
The taxi back to the airport was booked at the hotel and was a far more sedate journey than our first trip. It cost 15 Euros which highlighted how much you can be ripped off by airport taxi drivers. The airport was very busy. If the unfinished hotels are completed before the airport is upgraded, it won't be a nice airport to fly in and out of. As it was seats in the airport were very hard to come by, and don't rely on the arrivals/departures boards for accurate information regarding your flight. Our flight number was attached to the wrong destination and the wrong departure gate.
So in conclusion, I heartily recommend this hotel and especially it's staff to anyone. I rarely return to hotels but I will to this one. Just remember that 5 star in Egypt is 3 and a half in Europe and you can’t fail to be delighted.
Well like everyone has said,...

Well like everyone has said, it’s advertised as a 5* but its more like a 3*. Still we had a fab time!
On arriving you are given cold flannels and a lush orange drink and then taken to your room. This hotel is massive so be prepared for a little walk. Our bags arrived to our room after 5mins. Don’t take towels they are changed in your room everyday and you get given a towel card for beach/pool towels. (And remember which place you gave your card in at!! we would changed towels quite often as we were in and out of the pool and sea)
Main restaurant. We had never been to a place like this before so I am going to explain what happens - bear with me those that already know. It’s a total free for all. Find a table and go get food and drink! There is different sorts of food scattered around this restaurant. Always have a look outside on the bbq bit and the oriental corner. Gorgeous bread rolls at every sitting. We weren’t a fan of the desserts but there is a good selection. There is always something for everyone tastes. Probably not the best food I have ever had but it was nice. Only got ill once and after popping two Imodium which we had taken I was fine. We stayed away from most of the salads and fruits as we didn’t know what they had been washed in. the Veg was great though!
The late breakfast is great if you fancy a lie in, there is boiled eggs, toast, cereal, tones of bakery items like croissants and fruit juice. Lovely!
We ate at the beach bar once for lunch, nice but simple, sandwiches or pizza with fries.
Didn’t eat at the pool bar but had lots of drinks there. Sharky and Tom took quite a shine to my friend and I and we were made amazing cocktails everyday!
Ladies alone beware. You will be harassed. It didn’t bother us the first few days but after a while its gets really annoying. My advice. Eyes down and keep walking. if you smile and say hello you will be pestered until you go home! As a result of all the hassle from everyone we decided not to go out of the hotel, I heard it wasn’t that great anyway.
The sea. You can walk right out to the ship wreaks. They are amazing! A total must see - our advice walk out on the pier and then dodge the black spiky sea urchins. They sting! We tried to walk from the shore and ended up having to turn back! If you snorkel go right out off the pier and hang round the coral. You will see massive fish and tiny, tiny fish. It’s awesome. Take some old trainers or something with you that you can chuck away coz it’s really full of sharp coral. A lot of people bought expensive ones from the hotel but there is no need. Old trainers are the way forward!
Hotel shops are ok. Not great but ok if you want to get a few souvenirs. Apparently it’s cheaper in Naama bay.
Location. You really are in the middle of dessert. Hotel, sand, nearly built hotel more sand! It’s crazy. Also the plane wreckage left by the airport does not fill one with confidence on the way back home!
Overall we had a great time and would recommend this hotel to people that are prepared for the rough edges!

Just got back from a holiday for one week at the Calimera, it was a great holiday good food and the hotel is lovely and clean with cleaners cleaning everywhere all the time even the toilets on the beach are lovely and well looked after. before we went to this hotel we did read the reviews and one of them said to keep away from the salads, cold meats or any sauces or anything like mayo or yoghurts, we did this and not one of our group of four were sick or suffered any tummy upset.
There are three pools an active pool with everything going on, an inactive pool nice and quiet great to chill out, it still has a bar there though, so great for cold drinks and beers, be aware if you drink vodka it tastes fine but very strong and gets you very drunk quickly. All in all a brilliant holiday we are trying to go back for new year if not we will definitely go back in Sept again weather fantastic.
I would say though avoid Naama bay as it is just too much hassle everything you want to buy is available in the hotel, the bag man is great you can still barter as long as it is reasonable and one of our group bought a pair of diesel jeans for £20 from the diesel shop.

I stayed in the Calimera from 30/08/2006 to 13/09/2006 with my girlfriend, (both of us are 19) it’s a long review! Sorry!
I booked this hotel after reading some great reviews about it, but after I booked it, there seemed to be a string of bad reviews on most sites. I was very worried about going there since the reviews where so awful.
I am so glad I didn’t back out of going to this hotel. It was an absolutely fantastic holiday, in a great climate and a great hotel.
There are a couple of bad points to the calimera but they do not compare to the 100s of good points it has.
Arrived at around 22:20 hours to be greeted by the friendly and well spoken reception staff, who gave us ice cold flannels to cool ourselves with as it was still 30+ degrees outside. We got escorted to our room and 10 mins later our baggage arrived, the ported did not wait about and just brought our suitcases in and disappeared (tipping is not a necessity)
We ventured to the lounge bar for a drink and we stayed there till 12:30, the drinks are mainly house spirits and beer/wine we tried the beer and spirits and they were fine the duration of the holiday.
All the hotel is air-conditioned and so is your room, it’s like a giant fridge.
Breakfast was great, we had eggs (omelette, fried, scrambled, boiled) every morning, croissants, toast. The other things on offer where very much more non English oriented. We found that we could eat this diet for breakfast every morning and had not one complaint about it.
Lunch was varied, as stated in other reviews, it consisted of buffet, bbq and beach bar service. We kept to the beach bars baguettes, pizzas and chips mainly, we tried the bbq and buffet but we preferred the beach bar for our tastes. Again not one complaint about the food at lunch, we ate well and drank well.
Evening meal consisted of themed nights from different countries, the food was again varied and they did try their best not to repeat things too much but its hard to when catering for so many palettes. We ate very well during the evening and again not one complaint about lack of choice. I often went back for 2nds or 3rds.
Late night snacks, they weren’t the best but consisted of eggs and cake/ pancakes, we rarely ate the snacks as we were stuffed from the evening meal.
There are three pools, active, none active and the heated pool. We tried the active pool on the first day and after that we kept to the non active one, much nicer atmosphere for us, no hassle, less people, nice and quiet. Stunning pools, the largest I have ever been in on holiday. Cannot fault it, cleaned all day every day, filters changed etc.
Tip the bar staff and they will probably wait on you and bring drinks to you when they see your glass empty, or take your glass and return with it full. Tip whatever you want but £2 usually secures it.
Evening entertainment left a lot to be desired consisted of a youngish couple doing cabaret. Personally we thought it was utter crap, simply due to the fact they had about 24 songs split over two nights and you have guessed it……… they repeat them every 2 days so you’d be listening to the same song a lot. You couldn’t really escape it either as it was so loud. Just put up with it from like 9pm -11pm and then that’s it.
The shows we didn’t really car for, we attended one and they where good but it was more child oriented, that was more than enough for us.
We didn’t go to the pyramids or Luxor, we plan to return to Egypt next year to do all the trips in one week. We did however do quading, and it was fantastic, expect to pay £17-£25 per person for single quads or £25 for a double. I made my girlfriend go on her own quad, she didn’t want to at first but when we where actually there it she loved it. Fantastic views and you can see some of the desert. Take sunglasses or even snorkeling goggles/swimming goggles as the dust is ridiculous.
We DID NOT get a stomach bug/upset/sickness we did have diarrhea for a couple of days, but anywhere I have ever been on holiday I have had this so you cannot blame one thing really.
I am quite amused at the other reviews where people say the food was rubbish, no choice etc……… what do you want? Pie n chips every night, get a life! We ate so much that I have put about half a stone on, I was very impressed with the food, but am annoyed at people who made me doubt this hotel
We have rated this as 10/10 and it really is, if it didn’t have a star rating you wouldn’t know what it was, I feel they don’t really mean much as in foreign countries they can be given out Willy nilly.
We definitely would return to this hotel. We spent nothing basically as you’d expect and we relaxed, which is just what we wanted. Not a cloud in the sky the duration 40 degrees every day. We where totally cooked.
If you want to go to Egypt, go here and you will have a lovely time. Please feel free to email me for more info seanog5@gmail.com I will be more than happy to answer any questions you have.

After the 23 and half hour delay by My Travel, we arrived in Egypt for the tenth time to find we had arrived at a hotel that looked as good as it sounds.
But, and a big but, it was not! All was lost when we were escorted to our room! The porter was the best we had met, yet room was not! This place is hell hole!
The food was very, very bad and the accommodation was very, very, very bad.
Went on an all inclusive in Feb to enjoy the sun, which we did but went hungry. My advice is do not go.

Returned from this trip a week ago when I booked this holiday I was told that the hotel was 5* unfortunately it is more like a 3* that said it is still very nice if a bit frayed around the edges. On our first night we got to our room and it had ants crawling all over it so we had to change rooms, the reception staff were very kind and gave us an even better room right by the active pool at no extra charge. Over the two week period our room was cleaned everyday even if we forgot to put the sign on the door.
The rooms are quite spacious but could do with a little updating and decorating. As we arrived late we decided to order room service it took almost an hour and a half to come and when it did it was cold. If you like vinegar on your chips take your own as I spent ten minutes trying to explain what it was after speaking to about 4 different people and saying I don’t know how many times that I did not want vodka on them I gave up.
The staff at this hotel were really friendly and could not do enough to help even after only having 4 hours sleep because my partner still wanted to dance at 3 in the morning! Although we went all inclusive we did at one point have a problem with how many drinks they would serve us at a time, you have to start paying for them at 12am so a group of us decided to get 15 drinks at 5 to 12 the bar staff did not mind but the management did and came to have words with us about it, my partner who is not backwards in coming forwards kindly told them what all inclusive means from then on it was fine. I can not praise the staff enough for how well they treated us they are a credit to the hotel and this would probably be the only reason I would go back there.
We met the most fab people here and we all had a great time playing volley ball everyday and getting tipsy on a night.
The food here is not much to write home about, its ok the soups are the best.
The entertainment is ok if a little boring it s aimed mainly at the French, German and Russians.
The trips are more expensive if you are English the say its £20 but to the French etc its only 15euros which is about £10 so be careful not to get ripped off that goes with the shops as well.
We all got the dreaded tummy bug, still have it now but then everyone we spoke to did.
Would I recommend this hotel probably not but that’s only because I don’t think it really is 5* as a 3* then yes.

Arrived mid afternoon to a welcoming reception, first impressions were great, all of the hotel is spotless, the staff are constantly cleaning, the rooms are of a good standard, and the pools and sun-bathing area are very nice - (if you can get up early enough to get a bed!) We have stayed in Egypt before and had a fantastic time, so we half knew what to expect.
The staff in the bar areas are friendly as are the cleaning staff, but the staff in the main restaurant are constantly rushing around and taking your plates away before our daughters had even finished! After a few nights the evening meal was a major headache, I personally stuck to chicken and rice and was fine, although our parents became ill with bad tummies, it only lasted about 2 days-avoid fruit & salad! The children’s club was a joke - it was all foreign and we didn’t feel it safe enough to leave them. Amphitheatre at night was a case of try if you dare! Very dark and lots of mozzies.
There was a large proportion of foreign guests and some are extremely rude, pushing in front at meal times/kids running riot/ etc. We love Egypt but this hotel is not one we would return to, we stayed before at the Tropicana grand oasis and it was fantastic. This is very cheap and cheerful! Good luck.
