Marina Pax

I have just came back from a 2 week holiday to marina pax. This was my second time there and it gets better with every vist.
The food is great as long as you are willing to try different food.
The hotel is very clean and you will always see a cleaner around the hotel.
The entertainment both during the day and at night was fantastic. A big thanks must go to Sally, Fran, Ebony and Will who made the entertainent brilliant.
Everyone in the hotel is frindly from the restarunt staff, reception staff, the cleaning staff and the bar staff - Raquel and Magda were fantatic!
We went as a group of 12 and are nearly booked up next year for a party 20+.
The Western Water Park is fun for all!!
I would reccomend this hotel to anyone who doesn't want to be in the main of Magaluf and hear and see the night life but abe to have a small walk into Magaluf and to have a good time! So book the hotel now!

We have just come back from the marina pax hotel. 8 of us went all ranging in ages from 3 years to 60 years. We went for 2 weeks all inclusive. It was an ace holiday & an ace hotel. When we got there i wanted to change rooms so i could be on the same floor as my mum & there was no problems & they changed my room straight away.
The hotel was very clean & the staff where very friendly especially to my little boy. The hotel is in a good location. Not too close to all the noise but close enough to walk down to all the night life if you want it.
The food was lovely too. There was a good selection for everyone. Although it was very repetative but then you usually do get that when it is buffet style.
The entertainment team where fantastic with all the kids!! They all loved every minute of it. They even entertained the kids even when they wernt working. You couldn't fault them at all.
I noticed some people complained about noise but we didn't here much noise to be fair & between us we had 3 rooms & neither of us heard much. But i have to say if you dont want any noise at all then dont go to magalluf!!
All in all this was an excellent holiday & we will be booking to go back again next year.

This hotel is lovely. I went for 1 week with my mother in May time. The food was brilliant and a large variety. This hotel is better than the barracuda and people in there said their food was always cold. Definately stay at the PAX.
Towards the end of our week stag groups started to arrive and got a bit louder and the walls are quite thin.
The children's activities are great with rifle shooting, ball games and archery, mini golf. Magaluf is only down the road along with Palma Nova. It did rain the first couple days we ere there but 25+ after that.
Go and see the Pirate show as it is brilliant and worth the money 44 euros each. The beaches both at Magaluf and Palma are beautiful and soft. We jumped on a bus and half an hour later we were in Palma (capitol) which has a C&A clothes shop!!
I would definately go back here but out of season as the groups put us off and shouting things from bars (like they do in England).
Please go if this doesnt put you off and experience the great night life and numerous bars. There is even a fish and chip shop!!

We have been to the hotel a number of times in the past so we pretty much knew what to expect we go back because we are very friendly with sally the entertainer and our children love her as well. All the entertainment staff had changed this year except for sally and we were quite sad that we wouldn’t see jan this year but then we met chris not long after arriving and fran and palow and they were excellent everything about entertainment had improved from the previous years the day time activities are better and the night shows are a lot better compared to previous years. The rest of the hotel like before is ok was sad to see they have moved the snack bar from the bar to the restaurant and they don’t have paper plates and if you try to take snacks out of the restaurant then you are shouted at by the staff. Apart from this the pax is still a very nice place to go and we will be off back again next year not only to see sally but palow and chris as well cheers guys for an good holiday.

My husband, daughter and I stayed at the hotel pax for one week and were rather surprised we booked it as a last minute deal so was expecting it to be a pretty normal holiday and not that brilliant of a hotel but when we arrived we were greeted in reception by one of the entertainers chris who my daughter really took a shine to. The rooms are very nice and spacious the food although sometimes not always hot is very nice and there always the snack bar if you can’t find anything you like. The drinks at the bar are very nice and they have a different cocktail everyday and a children’s one which my daughter used to like a lot. All the staff are very friendly and always willing to have a chat. Chris from the entertainment is always out doing something with the adults and we loved watching him going around with sally trying to pick up people for the activities sally is the kids entertainer who is always been put into the pool by the kids she is ace. There is another two childrens entertainers fran an Italian girl who I found didn’t really interact with anybody much but she was always there playing with the kids and another older girl who’s name nobody seemed to know who I only saw once or twice but none of the kids were impressed with her. We also has palo and stan who we did the shooting with in the morning and they were excellent . the night time entertainment was good with something for everyone and my child loved marinita the hotels mascot all around I would say it was an excellent holiday and we will be coming back again as long as the staff are the same.

The hotel is fantastic the food, bar and entertainment are brilliant I will definitely consider going back again.

we spent the first 2 weeks in may at the pax, the rooms were immaculate and cleaned daily, the food was basic but there was always a choice,the entertainers were brill with the kids sally n chris made the kids holiday. the staff were friendly and helpful, we will def go back next year.

I have just come back from the marina pax hotel and it wasnt all the great. The food was repeated and majority of it was cold! the alcohol was thier own brand and tasted voil. Me and most of my family were ill due to the food! the noise through the walls were terrible as you heard everything!
The staff are very friendly their and try to make you enjoy your holiday.
The entertainment team were brilliant and work so hard and paulo and stein from the marina barracuda were excellent to go out with on the night!! Overall i would go back at a cheaper price! The only reason i'd like to go back would be to see the people that work their because they were excellent.

i went to this place to celebrate my 6oth birthday. when we got into our room, it was dirty. the sheets were not clean. the toilet was dirty, infact everything was. the front of the hotel was dirty. the rep was never around to see. at night, we could not get to the bar to get a drink. which meant we had to go out, which cost us a fortune. there was noise night and day. swearing none stop from men and women. men pulling their pants down, in front of children. masterbating in public. it was disgusting. people banging on our door late at night. we had no sleep the whole holiday. people who were staying longer, were crying to be moved. thank god, we were only there for a week. the most worst holiday, i have ever had. i am contacting thomas cook for my money back. and would never go with them again. do not book, if you want a quiet holiday,and to be proud to be british.

This hotel is located at the far end of Magaluf bay next to the Sol Antilles Barbados. The location is a great haven from the noise of the town.
The hotel is only a five min walk away from all the action, thus giving the best of both worlds.
The hotel is dated, but clean, the food was excellent and the staff were friendly (except the snack bar guy!).
Take time to explore the grounds of the hotel as there are two swimming pools one that looks like a prisoner of war camp! The other is a new and pleasant area in which to sun bathe.
Overall it is a decent place to stay, the only complaint is that the entertainment lounge was full of smokers and nobody seemed to enforce the no smoking policy that the hotel suggests it has. So if you don’t mind the thick smoke and drinking out of plastic cups, then you will get a good value for money break here, I will certainly return.
