We have been using this hotel for many years, we last went for a month stay no it is not 5 star but we did not pay 5 star prices. The rooms are cleaned every day,the staff who clean the rooms are adorable love to help you. The food might not be what you are used to but... more

we holidayed in the bayside 4th to 18th of aug. The weather was hot hot hot touching 50! The hotel wasnt that bad clean towels and bed linen but the maids didnt clean the rooms we found a brush and did it ourselves. It was a good job the beach is crap and we didnt go on it... more

Not long back from our holiday in the Bayside Hotel Kremasti, the hotel was great value for money the food was fine and the pool was well kept.
Nick and staff are more than helpful, nothing is a problem, would like to say a big thnaks to all for making our stay very enjoyable.

Relaxed holiday from millymop
only booked holiday three weeks prior to traveling, what a fantastic surprise we got. Found staff to be friendly and very helpful,Room kept clean, bed linen changed regularly,towels changed every day. Good variety of food, we have a fussy twelve year old and she found something she liked at every meal. Fantastic pool with the added bonus of the beach being a short stroll through well kept gardens. A wonderful time had by all. Thanks to Nick and Irene. Chris,Cora and Kayleigh.

We had a fantastic stay at the bayside, we were made very welcome. Our rooms were basic, and food was ok, there could have been more choice for children. This did not matter to us as there are plenty of restaurants if you do not want to stay in for your evening meal. What made the holiday was the people also the fact that Rhodes wasn't commercialised. We will be going back next year.

june 2006 stayed at bayside hotel room lovely hotel nice and clean staff very friendly and helpfull food lets it down pool area lovely cafe very nice ,good food pitty they didnt serve it in the restaurant beach awfull we had alovely holiday but would not recomend it for families with children nothing for them to do ,loved doris and goerge they made our holiday george took us up to the cross one day which was very good off him to do on his day off doris entertaind us with fun games and bingo on a night which we enjoyed very much it made our holiday as there was nothing much to do at night unless you get a taxi into rhodes town we enjoyed our holiday but would not recomend it to young or families with children lovely for oldre people who want arelaxing holiday paula dot &stephanie (newcastle)

This hotel was sold as a 3/4* hotel. Broucher stated that accomodation was basic but we did not expect it to be so basic. Beds okay and changed regularly and room kept clean. Bathroom was so basic with shower so small and without curtains that the whole bathroom filled with water. A accident waiting to happen. If you like cold showers throughout the day this is the place for you! Food was poorly made and inedible for most of the time. Cold food & salads not covered and flies walking all over them. Hot food was minimal, 2 choices, and kept warm by Meths burners which once ran out food went cold. Resturant, bar and lounge all in one. No lifts so negotiating the stairs was a pain. Aircraft noise was extenstive all through the day and night, but if you are a plane spotter it would be nirvana. The only good point was that the pool and area was excellent and it was close to the beach. At Best this hotel would only warrent a 2* rating.

We have just returned from a week in Bayside Hotel to "recharge our batteries". The hotel itself was OK. The rooms were basic and we were surprised that there was no television in the rooms. The poolside was well maintained with ample sun beds, and a splendid poolside snack bar where you could get anything to eat and drink including ice creams. The meals were a big let down though, the breakfast was exactly the same every day which was continental style. The evening meals were awful and we had to fill ourselves up with bread rolls and salad. The staff were very friendly and the hotel was well run, however, if you are going there to be entertained you are in for a big let down. In the "resort" there is a couple of resturants and one pub to speak of with internet facilities. The beach was pathetic being very stoney and dirty. All in all we still enjoyed our stay as some of the guests made their own entertainment and we all had a good laugh. Won`t be going back to this part of the island as the aeroplanes were very low and very noisy. So if you are after piece and quiet, forget it.

My friend and I visited The bayside hotel this summer as a last minute deal we found on the internet. We had no idea what to expect and were pleasently surprised! The rooms are very very clean and the poolside area and bar was lovely. The food wasent great but there were plenty of very reasonably priced restaraunts within walking distance that it did not prove to be a problem. What made the holiday was the staff and the people we met. I genuinly have never felt so welcome or safe. The place has amazing character. Nick and Steve run a fantastic hotel, We cannot thank them enough for the brilliant time we had at the bayside and i am in no doubt that we will be returning next summer.
Very disappointing from Blusies
A mistake! Don't go here unless absolutely necessary. Have given it a marking of two - one for its swimming pool and the other for cleanliness. They desperately need a decent cook - couldn't even get breakfast right. All the cheapest ingredients. Also on one of the grottiest beaches of the island. We enjoyed our holiday as we hired a car and escaped!

hello me and my girlfriend went to bayside sep 2005 for one week half board the food was excellent,the hotel is in kremasti a nice quiet resort,with supermarkets bars restaurants,the hotel is right on the beachside.the beach is a mix of sand and shingle the water is clean and warm beautifull to swim in with plenty of sunbeds all day hire 2.50 euros.the hotel is a great family run hotel our rooms were cleaned every day the owners and staff are so friendly and do all they can to make your stay enjoyable and hassle free.the pool is really nice warm clean with plenty of sunbeds,the food in the hotel was excellent throughout our stay,varied and delicous,if you miss your breakfast they cook a great english breakfast at the pollside snackbar,and many other fresh dishes cooked to order which are lovely,if you want a relaxing stress free holiday with good food,great accomodation next to the beach,were the staff are friendly and great fun this is the one for you. thanks to nick steve irene mum and dad fiona keith the cheif cleaners gardeners and all the staff for a brilliant holiday see you again soon.

Was not advised about steps when holiday booked previous August. This was Olympics fault, steps to reception, steps down to pool!! Was charged extra £60 for a so called family room, would have had to have bunk beds to fit in room. Asked for letter confirming hotel does not charge extra for family room, Olympic rep spoke to them & guess what - No Letter!!!!

clean rooms, maid service daily. Poor beach, out in the sticks a little. Food terrible, we had to get up at 7am every day to get some decent bread and there was only a choice of a few cereals. Evening meals were awful, everyone was complaining about them-worse than school meals! dessert was either and apple or an orange but we did get lucky one night with ice cream. were told by the agents we would have a sea view but were put in an annex, we complained and were moved, staff generally good. food cooked by pool during the day better than the food served as the half board breakfast and dinner.
