Oasis Mango Apartments Reviews
" Superb Staff, Spotless Accommation "
Submitted By: jonesedApartments were spotless, most have recently been refurbed.
Staff were all so helpful, ask them to book any trip and they will find you the best price and deals etc.
We were not given a sea view (but had asked travel agent when booking). When we arrived, the Receptionist said they were out of seaviews, two days later they found one and allowed us to transfer rooms.
No lifts, which seemed tricky for kids with buggies. But apart from that excellent.
Don´t forget though, that the hotel is built into the hills around Los Christianos, so it is steep, but not too bad.
Would recommend to anyone who is able-bodied.
ps staff in pool bar and restaurant are hilarious, they can´t do enough for you!
Advice: Cloudy mid pm, due to mts
Activities: Glass bottomed boat, submarine
Good for: Beach

" Fantastic apartments, very clean... "
Submitted By: redmistThe pool area is very clean & theres plenty of beds, more than enough to go around. the only gripe I had was the drink prices, the happy hour was from noon until 6pm, but after that all drinks seem to be 3 euros even for soft drinks. its very quiet at night around the apartments. its position at the topof the hill helps. We would definately return to the Oasis Mango, but on a b/b basis as there were a lot of good bars serving great food nearby.

Submitted By: redmistwe would definatly go back, but maybe on a b&b basis. there are too many good bars near by to eat at the hotel all the time. the best bar we visited was Taylors Lounge.
" Without doubt, the cleanest and... "
Submitted By: Mr R WilliamsIf you have mobility issues then this complex is not for you because of the steep hill that it is situated on and the steps at the complex itself so do avoid, but if you are able bodied then you could not choose a better and quieter location for that idyllic break in the sun.
After very lazy days around the pool we walked down into Los Cristianos itself most evenings, about a 10 to 15 minute stroll, where there is an extensive range of restaurants and bars, but the nightlife that we saw was very low key, so ideal for those with families or those looking for a peaceful holiday. A taxi from town back to the appartments set us back between 3 and 4 Euros but well worth it unless you fancy that long up hill climb after a hearty meal and a few drinks.
While we were there we also ventured to San Eugenio, having stayed at a complex near there a few years ago, but unfortunately it proved to be a disappointing visit because the area has become very "Anglicized" since we were there last and one of our favorite haunts last time, Harleys Restaurant left quite a bit to be desired this time. We also went to Puerto Colon - get there in time to watch the sunset over the bay - and Playa De Las Americas itself where we strolled up along the beachfront from Parque Santiago 3 up to Veronicas one evening. The walk up the beachfront is nice and peaceful but don't venture to Veronicas at night especially if you have kids with you.
All in all an excellent holiday and Oasis Mango would deserve some serious consideration if we decided to visit Tenerife again in the future.

Submitted By: Mr A OttonRoom was spotlessly clean with towels changed daily and sheets every other day. Housekeeping staff were friendly and polite. Can't vouch for the food as we ate out every night but the pool bar han an adequte menu with great snacks all day. The barman was terrific.
The pool was warm and clean with no Chlorine overkill.
OM is built on a hill so it's a fair trek up the terraces if you have walking difficulties.
Found no trouble parking the hire-car right outside the hotel.
" Stayed at this hotel for a week end... "
Submitted By: Mrs Jan GebbieThe hotel itself is set at the top of a hill, so may be a problem to those with walking difficulties, although we saw quite a few elderly people staying there.
The kitchen is very new and well equipped - the best I have every seen, with a built in fridge/freezer and microwave.
The bathroom has an amazing power shower with plenty of hot water. The towels were changed every day but one. The decor is very clean.
There are two computers in reception for use by guests.
Outside is a childrens pool and adult pool which were very clean and very warm when we were there. Im not a very confident swimmer and found I could stand on tiptoe in the deep end (im only 5'2") and my head was not underwater. There are loads of sunbeds and umbrellas which are all free. There is also a restaurant which you can use just beside the pool.
We saw a security guard on duty each night we came in.
If you dont mind the walk I would recommend this hotel. The hotel is about to close for a few weeks for redecoration - didnt look like it needed it.
We flew with Jet2 and I didnt have any real problems with the flight.
The resort has loads of bars and restaurants which were very reasonably priced for a meal.
Beware of people selling scratchcards!
" oasis mango is a good cheap self... "
Submitted By: Mr P CarringtonGeneral thoughts are that los cristianos is the poor part of the island, one place you should not miss is the loros park in the northern part of the island, great killer whale shows and dolphine shows.
one more point about the oasis mango the restaurant is shut this week but they dont tell you that anywhere

Submitted By: Mrs Susan BiddleSunshine is so easy to use, to be honest I wasn't sure about using them, but they are value for money! Everything I booked I got.
My husband & myself had never been away at Christmas & just wanted SUN! We a had lovely clean apartment. The bedding was changed twice during the 1wk stay & maid service every day.
It was a walk to the beach but to be honest after the amount of food you stash away it does you good.
We found some lovely restaurants. Oliver's, & Coy, were lovely, the food, the service a delight.
Only bothered by 'time-share' once, when will these people stop! Hope this helps.
Kind Regards
Sue & Andy

Apartments was the only thing what was good in this place but there are some buts still. No air con is the problem, in the evening at our room was around 30 to 35 deg. of C and therefore sleeping was very wet.
At first morning when we go to breakfast we start to suspect the quality. Only few different
kind of sausages and same kind on cheese all week, bacon and fried eggs. No boiled eggs at all. Also no fresh fruits only canned mixed fruits.
The shock came at a dinner, there were three course menu and it was printed on German only on German and i ask if i get it on English and the waiter said with rude tone that he can translate it... So we take for starter garlic mushrooms and when we get those they was canned mushrooms no fresh...
Main course... I take pork chop with chips. Yeas there were some chips on the plate i calculated them 13 chips. And worst thing was that the pork was raw. My wife get chicken with currysauce with chips. There was more chips on plate but no vegetables at all. Worst thing also was that the biggest pieces of chicken was also raw. I notify kindly for all that to waiter and he only yackety-yak to me on Spanish something and take the plates off. We didin´t want to get any moore from there any more.
