Obviously we were in different Oasis mango Apartments but the pictures are the same.
Apartments was the only thing what was good in this place but there are some buts still. No air con is the problem, in the evening at our room was around 30 to 35 deg. of C and therefore sleeping was very wet.
At first morning when we go to breakfast we start to suspect the quality. Only few different
kind of sausages and same kind on cheese all week, bacon and fried eggs. No boiled eggs at all. Also no fresh fruits only canned mixed fruits.
The shock came at a dinner, there were three course menu and it was printed on German only on German and i ask if i get it on English and the waiter said with rude tone that he can translate it... So we take for starter garlic mushrooms and when we get those they was canned mushrooms no fresh...
Main course... I take pork chop with chips. Yeas there were some chips on the plate i calculated them 13 chips. And worst thing was that the pork was raw. My wife get chicken with currysauce with chips. There was more chips on plate but no vegetables at all. Worst thing also was that the biggest pieces of chicken was also raw. I notify kindly for all that to waiter and he only yackety-yak to me on Spanish something and take the plates off. We didin´t want to get any moore from there any more.

We stayed one week in Oasis Mango in November 09.
Apartments were spotless, most have recently been refurbed.
Staff were all so helpful, ask them to book any trip and they will find you the best price and deals etc.
We were not given a sea view (but had asked travel agent when booking). When we arrived, the Receptionist said they were out of seaviews, two days later they found one and allowed us to transfer rooms.
No lifts, which seemed tricky for kids with buggies. But apart from that excellent.
Don´t forget though, that the hotel is built into the hills around Los Christianos, so it is steep, but not too bad.
Would recommend to anyone who is able-bodied.
ps staff in pool bar and restaurant are hilarious, they can´t do enough for you!

we booked are hol in november but on arrival found the placed closed.a note stuck to gate said it was shut due to renovations. which seems a strange time to do during the holiday season..we were not informed of the closure before going and only found out when the transfer bus pulled up at apartments..so not a good start to our holiday.

We have just come back after a 10 day stay at these apartments, I have to say that they were modern, exceptionally clean, friendly staff, lovely gardens, flowers and there are bird cages hanging from some of the trees with lovely canaries in them. We celebrated my 50th birthday there and we loved it. Los Cristianos is brill, not too busy and also very clean, lots of bars and restaurants, try Cabanas on the sea front good food and friendly staff. Would definitely stay again.

Fantastic apartments, very clean & spacious rooms no A/C though but it didn't bother us that much. the food was great, full english breakfast & you can choose wether you want lunch or dinner.
The pool area is very clean & theres plenty of beds, more than enough to go around. the only gripe I had was the drink prices, the happy hour was from noon until 6pm, but after that all drinks seem to be 3 euros even for soft drinks. its very quiet at night around the apartments. its position at the topof the hill helps. We would definately return to the Oasis Mango, but on a b/b basis as there were a lot of good bars serving great food nearby.

The Oasis Mango is a fantastic aparthotel. The rooms are spacious & very clean. The pool area has more than enough beds to go around, you can get beds at any time of the day from about 9.30. The food is great with a good choice. The only downside to this great place is the bar prices, there is a happy hour between noon & 6pm but after that all the drinks seem to be 3 euro each whatever you had.
we would definatly go back, but maybe on a b&b basis. there are too many good bars near by to eat at the hotel all the time. the best bar we visited was Taylors Lounge.

Without doubt, the cleanest and nicest apartment complex that we have stayed in over the years. If there is a downside, then the lack of Air Con is the only one that I can think of. The complex itself boasts a restaurant where they also serve snacks during the daytime which are fairly reasonably priced. There is a mini market on site but I would recommend that you take the five minute downhill stroll to Spar as everything was considerably cheaper there. Apartments were cleaned virtually every day and the linen and bedding were changed at least four times during our week long stay.
If you have mobility issues then this complex is not for you because of the steep hill that it is situated on and the steps at the complex itself so do avoid, but if you are able bodied then you could not choose a better and quieter location for that idyllic break in the sun.
After very lazy days around the pool we walked down into Los Cristianos itself most evenings, about a 10 to 15 minute stroll, where there is an extensive range of restaurants and bars, but the nightlife that we saw was very low key, so ideal for those with families or those looking for a peaceful holiday. A taxi from town back to the appartments set us back between 3 and 4 Euros but well worth it unless you fancy that long up hill climb after a hearty meal and a few drinks.
While we were there we also ventured to San Eugenio, having stayed at a complex near there a few years ago, but unfortunately it proved to be a disappointing visit because the area has become very "Anglicized" since we were there last and one of our favorite haunts last time, Harleys Restaurant left quite a bit to be desired this time. We also went to Puerto Colon - get there in time to watch the sunset over the bay - and Playa De Las Americas itself where we strolled up along the beachfront from Parque Santiago 3 up to Veronicas one evening. The walk up the beachfront is nice and peaceful but don't venture to Veronicas at night especially if you have kids with you.
All in all an excellent holiday and Oasis Mango would deserve some serious consideration if we decided to visit Tenerife again in the future.

Just come back from spending 2 weeks in these apartments and we had a lovely holiday. The apartments are spotless and cleaned every day, with fresh towels and the bedding was changed about every 3 days. The only down side is that there is no air-con, but you can hire fans. The pool area is hosed down and cleaned every morning aswell. The staff on reception are very friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. We were half board and the food was excellent, breakfast consisted of full english or continental and for the evening meal there was a choice of starters, main course and desert. The restaurant staff were fantastic and really made us feel welcome. There is limited entertainment in the evenings (about 3 times a week) so it maybe a bit quite for some people, but there are local bars that you can go to instead. The apartments are up a hill (cardiac hill as it is known!) so might be difficult if you have trouble walking. Ok going down, but if you don't fancy the walk back up you can always get a taxi for about 3 euros. If you go self-catering there is a spar down the hill and plenty of places to eat offering chinese, italian or english food, within walking distance of the apartments. All in all a fantastic holiday and we would definately go back!!

we had a 2 bed apartment, very large ,plenty of room. very clean, the bedding was changed 3 times during our stay (1wk). the apartment was spotless. the view was beautiful, mountains on the front and from the balcony you could see the sea, it was very quiet. it took us about 10 min to walk to the beach, the only downfall was the walk back as it seems quite far as it is up hill, we got a taxi back up which was 3 euros which wasn't bad. the pool wasn't very big and the childrens pool was tiny, saying that it was always packed. the downside was that the childrens pool was attached to the large pool which i thought quite dangerous as it suddenly went deep, there were no warnings or barriers between pools so it was quite easy for a child to get in the big pool.other than that the place in general was great.

Apartment was very clean, but freezer had no door, coffee machine had no lid only 2 ring hob to cook. We ate out all the time as cooking would have been hard work with only 2 rings. We went down to the pool a couple of times but the old folk were moaning and giving us dirty looks because our two children(9) and (14) were jumping and playing in the pool, by the way this pool is freezing! we were booked for 15 nights and soon discovered that if you dont mind going to bed at 10pm then this is the place for you.Sorry but was all elderly people and the greatest entertainment was the piella making evening which you could eat aswell for the cost of about 12 euro.we would arrive back in the evening around 12.30 pm on an early night! the guy at the front office was very nice and the cleaner was too! if you have children its ok as a clean base but thats it.
