Ive only just got back but wow...it's a holiday I will never forget. Can't believe some people have rated this hotel badly; The hotel was spotlessly clean, the food was amazing every day(something for everyone), the staff put themselves out to help with anything you wanted & the entertainment team were too good to be working in a hotel. we stayed at the hotel the week commencing 30th april 2006 cant say much except outstanding fantastic beautiful clean excellent best holiday i have had booked up again already for next year but for 2 weeks staff are brilliant all of them from cleaners to management entertainment team are soooo funny and lovely real genuine people who cant do enough to help like 1 big family and we felt like part of it .we would recommend hotel to anyone and the entertainment staff will make your holiday unforgetable.

First time in tunisia didnt know what to expext it was brilliant plus plus. All the staff were great, food was hot and plentyful eventhough some didnt look that good but tasted fine.Animation team were excellent.I was very sorry to leave. We traveled with 11 years old 17 years old, two in 30s and 2 in 70s. everyone enjoyed it all for different reasons but all want to go back

I cannot believe some of the other comments that I have seen written here about this hotel. I think they are unreasonable and unjustified. We stopped in this hotel from 30th April 2006 until 7th May 2006. We had a lovely week away, even though the weather was most unkind to us on 2 of the days. The hotel is extremely well kept and the standard of cleanliness is very good. All the staff are very helpful and the vast majority are very pleasant. wasnt overly impressed with the hotel and the rooms have seen betta days and actually lost weight due to the food (instead of puttin it on) prob no bad thing....neva got drunk which again is a good thing the small gym area and indoor pool were great and the cleaning staff did a brill job the bar and entertainment team were indifferent they will love u 4eva if u tip at the beginning of the hol overall not great not bad it was great to come home and have some bacon 4 brekkie

WOW where can i start all the staff from the cleaners to the manager were fantastic!!! We arrived in the hotel at about 9:30 in the evening we were hungry and in need off food! as soon as we got in to reception and checked in we got our wrist bands on and went for some dinner.our bags were taken up to our rooms for us! we were amazed at the different selection of food on the and tucked into our feast! after we had something to eat and freshened up we sat in the lobby and had a drink! We have just returned from the Abou Sofiane and it has to be said this Hotel has had it's best day's and is showing its age. The furniture and fittings are all worn as is the paintwork and the decor. On the first day the taps jammed on, the shower curtain wasnt long enough and resulted in a flooded floor upon every shower, mind you if you needed a shower after 6.30pm it would have to be a cold one. I have just returned from a wonderful holiday with my partner and three teenage children. We had fantastic weather, very hot but with a good breeze. The hotel was superb and the staff were lovely. We didn't tip at the beginning of the holiday since I don't like bribery...but everyone was very nice anyway...maybe we didn't have our drinks brought to us etc. but that was ok. We missed out on our special meal in the Italian because I didn't book it early enough so I would advise anyone going to get it booked as soon as you arrive. Food was good... more

Me and my boyfriend have just returned from the Abou Sofiane hotel, we are both 20 and 22 and found it fantastic The only advice i can give anyone is * there are no bars/shops/clubs etc outside of the hotel for young clubbers etc unlike spain, turkey etc however there are great shows on everynight within the hotel where ppl from other hotels came to see! * if you like a drink containing a cordial eg vodka&lime or pernod&black then take the cordial with you! * if you are big on coffee eg nescafe then also take a jar with... more
