This is a great hotel, we stayed here...
Dec 2005, Mr C Orr
This is a great hotel, we stayed here because we were going to a concert at the royal concert hall, which is right across from it. The hotel itself is very well situated right in the centre of Glasgow, with very east access to all the main shopping streets and attractions. Our room was nice, nothing special but very clean and bright. We also had breakfast in the morning, which was a buffet good selection of food and drinks.
This is a good hotel for the price!

This hotel is very handy for theatres in the area. For example, it's about a ten to fifteen minute walk from the Kings Theatre in Bath Street and the city centre is 'on the doorstep' of the hotel. Although the hotel does not have a car park there is a multi storey car park directly across the road from the hotel. It costs about £5 for a weekends parking. The hotel is very clean and the bar and restaurant are relaxing.
The rooms are reasonably well sized although you do pick up late night noise from the bedrooms. The noise tends to be more of a murmur in the background but you can hear the sound of a siren in the dead of night. Breakfast is a buffet, the staff are attentive and friendly, and the food is well cooked and plentiful in supply.
We've stayed at this hotel quite a few times over the last few years, mainly because of its location in relation to Theatreland and its competitive prices. It's very well priced in comparison with its near neighbours.
