Originally built in 1840, the Buchanan Hotel is possibly Glasgow's oldest established hotel. The marbled foyer creates a style which continues throughout. The hotel is within easy walking distance of all the main shopping areas and is ideally situated for theatres, art galleries and the famous Burrell Collection.

This hotel is on par with -10 a total dump over £100 pn we were in 3 rooms in one day before we had to leave, the place is very run down do not be fooled by the description yes its in the centre of Glasgow handy for the bus station, concert hall train stations.

The rooms were dirty curtains hanging off the rails, carpet stuck together with tape, worn and shabby, breakfast is served in adjacent Tea rooms poor selection for breakfast, no sound proofing in rooms you can hear the underground trains under the hotel, young girl on Reception very pleasant we asked for manager to complain about the midden spoke to us smelling of alcohol, stay away for your sanity, Langs hotel is 5 minutes away total luxury same prices, Superbreak go to both hotels please go to Langs.
