What a lovely hotel

What a lovely hotel, with very friendly staff. In an excellent spot, very convenient for the railway station and subsequent shopping expeditions. The room was clean, well furnished and attractive. The bed was one of the best hotel beds we have ever slept in - just what we needed at the end of a marathon shopping session. Breakfast was good, with so much to choose from, and again, nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Well worth a visit.

Very nice....but

This is a very nice hotel, and the location is hard to beat, the staff is good and rooms are nice with good air conditioning, but there are problems. The leisure club with pool and exercise facilities really can't be enjoyed. The hotel allows anyone to join its leisure club so the areas are very crowded and the staff here was grouchy and unhelpful. We don't use mini bars but checking my bill there were charges for close to $68 for this; when I questioned this the tab was deleted, but I heard others during our stay complain of not using...
