i first went to the torres de sol in nov07 i had the best time ever, so i went back for new year after the new owners had taken over they are great paul and zara ,they have made some small staff changes which bring a new lease of life to the bar in the name of tiny who dose the evenings entertainment which is excellent .bar staff are a bit ropey only joking are excellent at what they do and know just what you want and need. .so since my first vist the place as improved greatly . you will get a warm and very friendly welcome from all who work , and the local residentents there . i love it and wiil be back. but please can we have more sunbeds .

Location, location, location. Fifty metres from the beach and next to all the local restaurants and shops, this really is a marvellous location.
The complex, although old, is very well maintained. The room was very clean with a magnificent view of Los Cristianos harbour. The food in the Pool bar is good with the entertainment at night excellent. We had a really very enjoyable holiday.

O-M-G....... how amazing was this holiday?! Firstly we want to say that any bad reviews on here are RUBBISH!!!! The young girls who said there was no nightlife obviously didn't know where to go!!! Just a short taxi ride away were the best clubs ever!!! Talk about luxurious! Who else can find a club that runs out onto the sea?? - Farros was gorgeous!
As for the hotel its location couldn't be better and we spent many hours relaxing and lounging by the pristine pools which were well looked after. Along with the pools is the amazing beach that's literally 1 minute away!! and of course there were the fab shops, Zara, stradivarius, mango, safari, woman secret and many many more. The atmosphere here at night was amazing and always bustling with people. The restaurants are lovely and the people are all so friendly. If your looking for a cocktail try Bolinda beach Bar... OMG best place ever!!
And as for a tan well lets just say we were unrecognisable when we returned!!! We left having had the best holiday in all of our 18 years of life... we enjoyed it so much we are now currently learning spanish and will be going out to Tenerife next summer to work in between uni!! CANNOT WAIT..... we love it!!!! te quiero ciao xxxxxxxxxxx

It was the best holiday we've ever had thanks to Dave and Jane (bar staff), the karaoke at night is excellent. thanks there to Tony and Adam (karaoke Staff).
The rooms were at a high standard even though you don't spend much time in them due to there being so much to do.
I am very happy with the 2 pools as they are as clean as they can be with great staff cleaning them every morning before you go in. There is deck chairs round the big pool which don't cost anything so you can lay down and and be confident that your kids are safe.
This was the best holiday for me and everyone as the weather was great, always above 26*C even at night.
The beach is on the door step to hotel so no need to walk far and with shops all round so no transport is needed.

Went to Torres Del Sol as two young couples, had a great time. We ended up on the top floor of one of the twin towers as they were nicknamed. The view was amazing could see for miles!
The rooms were basic but had everything we needed apart from warm water but that didn't bother us. We had the whole 15th floor to ourselves, the pools were great only thing was the new one didn't have any sun loungers and we couldn't find the other one for 3 days! The beach is only a few steps away and there is a local shop just outside the complex where the lady was very helpful.
I would recommend this place for a cheap and cheerful holiday to anyone.

We borrowed our apartment through a friend, so in fairness was spotless as was a private dwelling.
The only bad point to point out with the complex itself, was it could do with a little updating, there were very few sun beds, (some days having to lay on your towel on an uneven concrete floor!) and the ones that did exist were rather tired and worn, there is only one entrance to the place which too is a bit annoying as you have to sometimes walk along way round if approaching from certain angle.
However we did have a great family holiday here and would recommend it and would happily come again!!

Torres del Sol is right next to Everything you need, Best Beach, Best Bars, Best Restaurants, (Chicken King) 10 Mins Walk to 2x Town Centres (Los Cristianos & Las Americas.
The 1 Bedroom Apartment is basic with two single beds and a bathroom. What more do you need? They were very clean which was matched by the rest of the facilities.
The two pools were cleaned out every morning. The Pool in the Centre of the Complex look Brand New. One of the pools is ideal for parents who would like to stay near the bar and still be able to supervise their children. The other is ideal for sunbathing around.
Also looks like a Complete New Lift System has been installed.
The staff at the Torres del sol are all friendly many of them are English inc. bar staff. The reception and supermarket Staff speak little English but are still very friendly and helpful. There is a security guard on site so we always felt safe.
The taxi drivers are friendly and understand English. We were never offered any change back from our money but we were leaving that as a tip anyway. We also noticed that the restaurants although they brought your change did not like to do so.
A good tip would be to make sure you have the right money or are willing to leave the rest as a tip. (But don’t worry you do get your change if you don’t have the right money).
The beach is Literally 10 steps away from the apartments as are the restaurants. There are only one or two bars close by so the nightlife was fairly quiet. We used to use the bar in the apartments where they had a karaoke nearly every night. The karaoke and the music were all turned off at twelve, which is ideal for those wanting an early night.
All staff in restaurants were helpful although a walk on the seafront means being asked to enter every restaurant you walk past. This was a pain but at least there were hardly any time share touts around. Those that were tended to go after older couples or families.
The Torres del sol is ideal for all, families, couples, groups, lads, and girlie holidays. It is close to Playa de Las Americas for those who want the nightlife and Los Cristianos is ideal for those that don’t. The only thing I would say is that if you don’t like lifts try and get an apartment on the lower floors.
This was a very cheap, relaxing fun filled holiday and we are definitely going to return. Great value for money!

Well the 1st & 2nd visit to Torres del Sol were better than our last, but our second one we were moving apartments (due to standard of the room).
The 3rd visit we were unable to move due to the fact they have closed down the main office & the people who are meant to be running the site were not approachable, helpful or ever there.
We didn't have enough hangers, no iron, no TV, fan or ceiling fan, fresh linen or towels during 2weeks, broken table, beds at different heights, and no safe, unusable toilet seat.
We asked on more than 4 occasions for these problems to be sorted & we got a TV/DVD (least important) with English plug and Spanish plug & only 1 plug socket.
The night before we were due to leave we tried to arrange a taxi at the bar (the main office used to order the taxi for you) and they told us to flag down a taxi at 5.30am as taxis are always about.
So...it took us 30minutes in the pouring rain with us and our luggage soaking wet to get a taxi.
The 2nd swimming pool...put your goggles on & have a good look under the water & don’t forget your white bikini that turns green & then tell us the pools clean.
Location perfect, bar staff friendly-new entertainment man required.
Other than that the weather was perfect.

Although the apartments don't look much from the outside, this is a great place for a holiday. This was our 5th visit here and we will definitely come again.
The two pools are very clean and well maintained, although the sun beds could do with being upgraded. In terms of location, the apartments could not be better situated; they are right next to the beach and within easy walking distance of fantastic good quality restaurants and shops.
The only downside is the lifts. Although one of them has recently been refurbished, there was always one of them out of order!

Totally satisfied with the room and service. Food at the bar is great and the staff very friendly. Evenings at the bar with Dave and Jayne are most enjoyable and the kids love the pool table. Will certainly be booking again. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The location is handy for all shop and the beach. Coming back soon but not soon enough. Oh PS the big screen TV is great.

We have been coming to Torres del sol for nine years and though the apartments are basic, they are very clean. I can only think the people who had a grotty apartment booked it independently as I have been in six different apartments and they have always been of the same high standard. The staff at the front office are always friendly and very helpful. The food in the bar is magnificent and the atmosphere and helpfulness of Dave and Jayne is great. They had a new big screen TV. put in this year for the world cup and it was great to watch in such a wonderful atmosphere.

Torres del sol is in a perfect location, we have been coming since I was a child and have never had any problems as the ones mentioned above.
The apartments are owned by the majority of Canarians, there for you can not expect everyone who works there to speak English!
The minority of the apartments are holiday homes, which are rented out.
The apartments are clean and tidy, basic as us English are used to having home comforts around us, but your on holiday for gods sake, do you spend all day in your apartment because I know I don’t!
The night life is great, and shopping is fantastic with the new shopping areas newly opened, it will become one of the most sought after places to holiday once all if finished.
Come here it is a fantastic place to stay!

Well where do I start , we booked 2 apartment for 8 of us , our apartment was clean but basic we asked for a cot which had been situated in the living area and we couldn’t fit it through the bedroom door! We were on the 13th floor both lifts broke for 4 days and we had to use the service lift along with mop buckets dirty linen and 2 pushchairs.
The other apartment looked like a squat that had been desperately hired by the travel agent last minute due to a shortage of apartments , punch holes in the doors, 2 plates, no lats on sofa bed, washer in bathroom no space! Complained moved 2 days later when another became available new one had a lovely view of a brick wall!!!

Location, location, this complex is right on the beach and the restaurants and bars locally are the best.
The complex is basic but very clean with the new pool and the friendly staff in the front office, I will be coming again next year. I was reading some of the report here and I do not know what planet they from but like the 90% that said great things about this place, the Torres Del Sol is the place to go for a low cost holiday.
