Torres Del Sol Apartments

Being a teenager these apartments were exactly what I was hoping for. There set in an ideal location, 2minutes from the beach and roughly 5mins from many different strips of bars and restaurants which were all very welcoming! On arrival we were placed on the 14th floor of one of the towers, unsatisfied with this (two friends scared of using lifts) the staff in reception were excellent and moved us to a second floor apartment. The rooms were clean on arrival, however the bedding was only changed once during the two weeks, and we didn’t have a maid to clean!
The kitchens were well equipped for all levels of cooking, although the pool bar served very nice English food at very cheap prices!! The hotel has two large pools, which were very clean and well maintained, however the majority of the sunbeds were broken, (an inflatable was a great investment). The drinks in the bar are reasonably priced(depending on what you want) however service lacked a smile and all was turned off at 12!! For the young clubbers, veronica strip was a 10min taxi ride away! And well worth the visit!!
We met a bunch of great people and have to say this was the best holiday I've ever been on, (hopefully booking to go back next year) I would recommend it to people of any age!!

This is our second visit to the Torres apartments this year, we had a fantastic time, the apartment is privately rented so it was spotless, the staff on both receptions are always very helpful even though main reception staff speak little English.
The food in the pool bar was very good and the staff could not do enough for you especially James (who sorted me out with a beautiful birthday cake for my partner). The main pool was cleaned daily and is ideal for small children and adults alike the only draw back is the bar pool is awaiting work to be done.
The apartments are ideally located for all types of evening entertainment, there is some very good restaurants over looking the beach and sea ideal for a romantic meal, Robinson’s on the sea front 10 out 10 for meal and service. Any one who still likes traditional English food there is a very good fish shop Scampi’s.
There are only two pubs close by that we could hear after twelve, California bar entertainment not bad drinks awful and an Irish bar, which was very noisy until into early hours. Noise from Torre was stopped at twelve security guard on site would ask you to keep noise down if getting noisy. Had a great time going back next may for 4 weeks that’s how good it was.

I went to Tenerife and stayed in Torres del sol because I had been there before and I knew that it was clean and the bar food was nice.
I went 2 of my friends Carly and Vikki and although they nearly got arrested while I was in bed the holiday turned out to be really great. They almost got arrested due to them jumping in the pool in the early hours of the morning say around 7 ish. The security man wasn’t happy with them at all.
I’d say it’s suitable for girly holidays and boys because the hotel is open anytime and you can arrive home through night at any time. Over all my holiday was one to remember!!!

The room we had was very basic with two single beds and a bathroom. What more do you need? They were very clean which was matched by the rest of the facilities.
The two pools were cleaned out every morning. One of the pools is ideal for parents who would like to stay near the bar and still be able to supervise their children. The other is ideal for sunbathing around.
The staff at the Torres del sol are all friendly many of them are English inc. bar staff and in the front office. The reception and supermarket Staff speak little English but are still very friendly and helpful. There is a security guard on site so we always felt safe.
The taxi drivers are friendly and understand English. We were never offered any change back from our money but we were leaving that as a tip anyway. We also noticed that the restaurants although they brought your change did not like to do so. A good tip would be to make sure you have the right money or are willing to leave the rest as a tip. (but don’t worry you do get your change if you don’t have the right money).
The beach is Literally 10 steps away from the apartments as are the restaurants. There are only one or two bars close by so the nightlife was fairly quiet. We used to use the bar in the apartments where they had a karaoke nearly every night. The karaoke and the music were all turned off at twelve, which is ideal for those wanting an early night. All staff in restaurants were helpful although a walk on the seafront means being asked to enter every restaurant you walk past. This was a pain but at least there were hardly any time share touts around. Those that were tended to go after older couples or families.
The Torres del sol is ideal for all, families, couples, groups, lads and girlie holidays. It is close to Playa de Las Americas for those who want the nightlife and Los Cristianos is ideal for those that don’t. The only thing I would say is that if you don’t like lifts try and get an apartment on the lower floors.
This was a very cheap, relaxing fun filled holiday and we are definitely going to return. Great value for money!!

Had a thoroughly good time here. The complex is older looking but the apartment we had was lovely and everywhere was clean. The pool was cleaned every day and the surrounding areas were well kept.
Staff in reception were friendly and the bar (whilst it could do with a good refurbish) and we didn’t really use it was friendly.
Very central location and very good value for money. Would definitely use these apartments again.

An appalling hotel, which should be knocked down. It had condoms floating round in the pool and holiday hooligans shouting from the balcony. We have young children, this is not acceptable. We were greeted with sewage pouring out of the lid of the toilet and a bath that was infested with cockroaches. Thoroughly recommend you don’t stay here - STAY AWAY FROM THIS STINKING DUMP. Staff are ignorant and don’t speak English - this deserves to be named and shamed on watchdog.

Torres del sol is situated in a fantastic area, right beside Los Christianos beach! I was overall thrilled with my holiday due to its location and cleanliness. the welcome from the staff in the hotel was appreciated and their English was well spoken which is always helpful when you’re in foreign country!
Along the sea front, which is literally 3 mins away from the apartments, are a wide range of restaurants at very reasonable prices.
throughout the day snacks were available as well as meals, and during the night it was lovely to hear the sea whilst enjoying your evening meal.(makes a change from hearing traffic)
entertainment ranged from bingo to cabaret to dancing and enjoying a good old fashion drink.
not far away from los christianos was playas las Americas which was great for lively restaurants and clubs. This was a short drive of 5 mins in a taxi. Taxis are incredibly easy to find, the locals are only too glad to point you in the right direction.
there are many supermarkets and local clothes shops as well as chemists and convenient stores for all our needs. (be careful in any electrical stores, the shopkeepers do try to over charge tourists, and goods are sometimes sold faulty).
the apartments were very clean and had the basic requirements, including a fan for those warm nights.
one fault would be the hotel bar which does need a refurbishment, however, being honest, with so much to do, your never in the hotel anyway.
I would say this location is great for people who want a bit of both from their holiday, meaning you have the choice of a lively time as well as a relaxing quiet time.
I would rate this holiday 9/10. I had a fantastic time, and will be staying at Torres del sol again this year.
