Hi We returned to the Siesta for the second year running, and were welcomed with open arms and rememberance from the previous year, which was lovely, the hotel once again did not dissapoint us, it's got everything we needed, with the added bonus of "Nothing is too much trouble"it was lovely 2see old and new lads in the dining room, her were obviously being trained well and shadowing their senior member.Tanna (the Boss)was easily obtainable if required, not that we did. we met some wonderful people both Turkish and English.

hi i av just come back from the hotel siesta on saturday 17th july 2010 although the rooms are very basic i could not fault how clean they were, maid service every day, clean towels every day, this is ideal if you want to relax, the people who work in the hotel cannot do enough for you, they are pleasant and hardworking if you have a problem they will try their best to sort it for you. we went all inclusive an i must say the food was really nice we only ate out on one occasion. if you are a really young person looking for a young hotel this is not it this is more for families but there are other hotels tha can cater for you,i would return again xx

We arrived at the Siesta hotel at the early hours of the morning and walked into the teeney, tiny rooms. The only way to describe this room is to say its like a prison cell...we thought we were doing hard time! Had to move round in single file and practically leave the room to turn round. We lived out of our suitcases for 2 week because of 1 little wardrobe for 3 and no draws. Luckily there is room under the beds - but we shared that with the ants! The fan was leaking on the balcony so you didnt want to go out in barefeet but we were lucky because at least the water wasent dripping onto our room floor like other tourists staying there. Dont pay to use a safe...from our experiences your belongings would be safer with you as we had money stolen/taken. Cleaner comes ridiculously early but doesnt seem to make much of an effort to clean the room...especially the bathroom. I wouldnt recomend this hotel to anyone!!

We arrived early at 6am at our hotel after travelling over night. I have to admit we were a little dissapointed initially by the overall look of the hotel as we entered. We were even more dissapointed when we saw the room we were put in first. The were stains in the toilet, no shower curtain and just overal a disgusting mess. We went and complained about the room on the 4th floor and was imediatley changed to level 3. After talking to other residents at the Siesta, it would appear that the best rooms are on the 1st floor so if your planning on going to this hotel be aware. The cleaner on the 3rd floor is ok, not the best. 1st floor is where you want to be heading. The rooms are smaller but are generally clean. Dont expect a lot. This hotel is certainly not a 3* Hotel. We visited l'etoile hotel which is co-owned by the same people as Siesta and juniper(Opposite)and we were devostated. Two different contrasting hotels with a difference in star ratings of one! L'etoile was a 4* and it was hard to take that these two hotels had the same owners. Best bits about the hotel are the bar staff. They are friendly and will do whatever they can. The surrounding area is beautiful and positioned quite nicely if you fancy eating out or shopping at the local shops. Eating out is reccomended as the food for AI is rubbish. If you like eating chips all the time and like seeing the same food served on a daily basis then this hotel if for you. If you dont intend on spending much time in the rooms or hotel then this is also a hotel for you. I would reccomened eating out and go SC. Its cheap enough.
Dont get me wrong about this place. It was a cheap last minute deal and you certainly get what you pay for.

Four of us stayed at the siesta for 2 weeks and we couldnt fault it. At first we were dissapointed with the rooms as they were really small but they were really clean and we wernt in them that much so it didnt bother us. We arrived late on our first night after nighmare transfers which took four hours instead of two. We just caught dinner and were expecting the left overs but it was lovely, one of the best nights food, plenty of choice for everyone. The food continued to please us the whole holiday. We ate out a few times and i would definatley recommend The Lighthouse, its out the back of the hotel just past the supermarket.
We stayed round the pool most days and we always managed to get a sunbed, but it was that hot we could barely sunbathe and spent most of the day in the pool or at the bar. We defintaley made the most of the all inclusive drinks.
All the staff were lovely and always having a laugh even though some didnt speak too good english. Watch out for the bar staff who pour ice over you when you sunbathe, its actually quite nice considering how hot you are! Tanner was our favourite or Colin as we called him. He would set out table for us, bring us more soup, he was lovely! He definatley made our hoilday!
It was our first time in Turkey and cant wait to go back next year. I would stay at the siesta again we had a fantastic time. I would definatley recommend this hotel.

Our first visit to Turkey and we are wondering what took us so long to go there, it's a beautiful country, we stayed in the gorgeous resort of Ichmeler, it's braethtekinglt beautiful, everywhere we looked we were surrounded by anazing scenery, Our hotel, was great, lovely staff, from the boss Zaffa, to the restaraunt manager Farraty, tanner, and all the others whose names i can't remember, to the bar staff, to the lovely cleaner whose name escapes me. We felt as though we were treated like royality. they were all so helpful, as i have difficulties walking,my husband and I would be given a table, and i would tell Farraty what id like to eat, and he would get it for me, and hwe did that the whole time we were there. Siesta is a great location to get around, everywhere was within walking distance, or wheelchair distance for me.We were waved off from the hotel, by Zaffa Farraty, Ingy, it was lovely. we met a lot of nice people whom have been staying at the siesta for years, and my husband and I can understand why. although we were all inclusive we would eat out aswewll, the restaraunts we trieds were all lovely, and very reasonably priced. WE used to love the banter between the reataraunts and us, so funny, Siesta had a Turkish night, the night before we came home, it was great, my husband was selected to dance with a belly dancer, he was in his element, love it, I thought it was so funny. A really fantastic holiday had by all.

Me and my fiance stayed at the siesta hotel for two weeks and enjoyed every minute of it.Apart from when we first got there we didnt realise you have to put the key in the slot to work the electrics,so i must admit i thought nothing worked at first, but after finding out everything did work i was very happy with our room.It had everything we needed, even quite a powerful hairdryer! The rooms arent huge but for the amount of time we spent in there it did'nt matter, the bathroom was clean and basic but had a huge sink so i could put all my toiletries on.The room also had free aircon, which is quite rare these days. The maid came everyday, and sometimes made heart shaped towels which made me smile.
The pool area was great, and although we didnt go allinclusive we ate at the restaurant a few times and the food was cheap and tasty!.The breakfast had a great selection, scrambled egg, beans, toast, fruit etc.The staff at the siesta were fantastic, our favourate was farentien (columbo as we called him) he is such a nice man, couldnt do enough for us.Ichmeler itself is lovely, much better than marmaris which we visited just once, that was enough. We sampled quite a few restaurants, the steaks were fantastic at the international! Just down from our hotel,we enjoyed many cocktails at the magic garden and kactus.Just opposite there is a resaurant called the golden moon which is fantastic, the sultans special was amazing! I could go on and on,but you can make you're own mind up if you visit this hotel, some people have given this hotel bad reviews ,but i think if you want high class luxury, pay for it.With this hotel it is great value for money and at the end of the day your holiday is what you make it.We are going back to this hotel next year with our family this time,it was that good...

DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL!!!!! In short, minute rooms which were filthy and dated. The rooms had two single beds,a fridge that you could not use unless was paid for but you would not want to as there was bluemould inside it, and the smallest bathroom ever. There was a wardrode with no hangers and nowhere else for you to put your clothes, plus the afore mentioned bathroom shower curtain was covered in something dark and mysterious. Overall disaster. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Arrrived late in the early hours tired and in need of sleep we were put in Juniper hotel which looked a little dated, room was small but clean and then we slept. How first impressions can be misleading after unpacking and with the sun shining the hotel looked a lot more cheerful. We stayed for a week myself my wife and two teenage daughters the staff could not have been any friendlier and helpfull our room was cleaned every day, breakfast was the same every day but was adequate to start the day with. Hotel is ideally situated close to the beach and an abundance of restaurants and shops,a ten minute bus ride takes you into Marmaris. So you have two pools, two bars two hotels to take your choice of and they do feel like one hotel i would go back tomorrow if i could, its not the ritz but they make you feel like it is.
